This restaurant is absolutely incredible. From the lake view from the terrace to the high-quality service, everything was perfect. I enjoyed a truly exceptional pasta dish; I highly recommend it. Very nice food. The pasta was cooked to perfection. Also a very romantic setting with friendly staff. I personally loved that it was possible to have a really good wine by the glass. I managed to get myself a very nice glass of Barbaresco for a very modest price.

Wow! Excellent food and impeccable service on a cozy terrace. The restaurant might be a bit more expensive than the surrounding restaurants (but not significantly so), but the food is worth every penny. The burrata on gazpacho and the filet were particularly divine. The tiramisu was light and fluffy, and the best tiramisu I've ever had. The wines were fantastic, with a good selection, including wines by the glass. The service was superb! Very friendly, and they were able to provide detailed information about every dish and wine. Their recommendations were all spot on. A definite recommendation!

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week in the holiday apartment belonging to the restaurant. During that time, I dined at Osteria il Governo twice, and both times were phenomenal! The owner is incredibly attentive and gives an exceptionally warm welcome. He offers wonderful advice on the menu and explains the different dishes, taking dietary requirements and any allergies into account. Besides the service, the ambiance is fantastic. There's a beautiful view of the lake, and the outdoor area is wonderfully designed. It's very romantic, yet you feel perfectly comfortable there even without company. The food is just as good as everything else. Every dish I tried was incredibly delicious, and you can tell that each one has been thoughtfully and carefully prepared. Highly recommended!

Very nice restaurant with good service. The owners dedicated time for every table, to explain the highlights of the menu. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the food. Good sized portions, so we left with a full stomach after starters, a primo and dessert. Kids portion was well sized. Only downside was the noise from the road, but all in all a good experience. Remember to reserve a table, as there are not many tables.

This meal was a highlight of our trip to Lake Como. Don’t even debate about doing the pistachio cream pasta, just do it. Service was very friendly and we liked that the restaurant was in a quieter part of Como. We also had the duck, which was amazing. I’m a big fan of duck and my wife usually isn’t, but even she loved their duck dish. Definitely go here if you have the time!

Perfect!!! I highly recommend this Italian restaurant in a fabulous setting. The service is not only pleasant but also excellent, and I can only recommend the incredible food.
