Great place for a really good Italian dinner!! The pistachio pasta is just amazing, the staff is great and their recommendations for us were perfect!!

The service and the wine were outstanding. But the food was pretty average, the outdoor seating is directly next to the main street. All in all a very expensive Restaurant with average food, not worth the money.

A must-visit—reservations essential! What a wonderful discovery Osteria il Governo was! From the moment we arrived, the owner charmed us with his infectious passion as he presented the menu. You can immediately sense his love for his craft and the care he takes in selecting the products, all local and of remarkable quality. The cuisine is authentic, flavorful, and generous—exactly what you hope to find in Italy. Each dish showcases the local ingredients with simplicity and character. The wine list, particularly well-curated, perfectly complements the experience. The service is simply perfect: attentive, professional, and warm, without ever being intrusive. Our only regret from this trip? Not being able to return! Along with a Michelin-starred restaurant we visited in the Cinque Terre, Osteria il Governo is clearly among the two best restaurants of our entire trip. An address to add to your list—but remember to make a reservation; it's highly recommended.

Highly recommended!!! They were very considerate about gluten, and although they didn't have gluten-free pasta, they did have 100% potato gnocchi that were delicious. The best I've ever had, apart from other dishes like meats and sausages. It's a charming restaurant, and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
