09/08/2025: Last night I dined at Sementis, a vegan restaurant in Pietrasanta, and as an omnivore, I have to say it was a surprising experience. Many of the dishes I chose faithfully replicated the omnivorous flavors I'm fond of. Honorable mention for the recommended wine: a refermented Trebbiano served by the glass, a sparkling white with a lingering, aromatic flavor. For an appetizer, I tried their caciucco: both the broth and the "solid" part (tempeh instead of fish) were exquisite and faithful to the original. I then tried their vegan version of sushi: some were excellent, others a bit too neutral, lacking contrast and a smoky note to liven them up. The bao, a reinterpretation of the classic sandwich with pulled pork and vegetables, were very good: focused flavors, perfect texture, truly satisfying. For dessert, the vegan tiramisu was good overall, although the coffee was too mild for my taste and the cream wasn't quite as rich as the classic version. Special praise goes to the staff and owner: kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, they made me feel at home. I highly recommend Sementis, especially to non-vegans. When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely make a second visit to try other dishes. 22/07/2025: I returned to this restaurant after a few years for a dinner with colleagues. They had reserved a table for us inside, but given the beautiful evening, we kindly asked if we could dine outside. Although they initially said it wasn't possible, they very kindly obliged. As for the food, it was excellent, just as I remembered. Maybe a few raw liver arrosticini, but that can happen. We had the "Fuori dal gregge" appetizer, mutton alla callara, classic and liver arrosticini, lots of wine and beer, desserts, liqueurs, and coffee, and we spent €30 each. So, the quality/price ratio was more than excellent. I highly recommend it.

27/07/2025: I came at the last minute with some friends. There were eight of us, but the owner found us a seat inside. There's no air conditioning, but there are fans, and we had a great time. Excellent food, friendly staff, fair prices. Clean bathroom. We had to wait a bit between the starters and main courses, but the place was full inside and out, so it's understandable. We'll definitely be back.

19/07/2025: Was looking for some authentic lagsana and Hostaria la Scalinata didn’t disappoint. It’s a nice local restaurant with super friendly staff (M) who made me feel very welcomed. A nice spot to have dinner near Spagna after a long day of walk around the city.

19/07/2025: First restaurant we tried when we arrived in Italy. The food portions were enough for our hungry kids. It’s a small spot but they were able to accommodate all 9 of us. The food was good as well as the service.

19/06/2025: Pastry shop that I have always frequented, first the father then the son. The excellent pastries and larger than normal as old tradition dictates, the delicious cakes and with all requests available. I highly recommend it!!

25/07/2025: Excellent value, friendly staff, varied and well-stocked buffet, quick table service, and they bring you kilos and kilos of meat... the meat is amazing and incredibly tasty, guys! I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

22/07/2025: This place is just fantastic When they brought the bread - we couldn't resist, it's just a drug 🤤 Then we ordered a lot of different appetizers And I was so emotional that I didn't even realize how much I ate 🤣 It's just divinely delicious I especially liked the cheese with beets in a crispy breading!!! The chicken with a flatbread was also unreal Chicken butter It's just an orgasm, I ate the sauce with spoons!!!! Thank you for the incredible cuisine And thanks to your chef! I haven't eaten so deliciously for a long time ❤️‍🔥 At the end of dinner, I couldn't even breathe, how much I ate!!

16/07/2025: My favorite place for Indian cuisine in Milan, a must-try. The staff is always super nice and welcoming, and the location is truly elegant. An even better note: the food is truly delicious, not heavy, not spicy, with a perfect balance of soft and bold flavors. A must-try!

12/07/2025: Wonderful spot. I didn’t get any pictures but it was worth the short walk from the hotel. We had the grilled octopus, clam spaghetti and Tirramisu, and maybe a couple Campari spritzers. Worth a visit

12/07/2025: It's not a big place so it feels cozy and relaxed. The food is delicious and there's a good selection. The kitchen is open and you can't see the whole area from the restaurant but there's plenty of parking. The service was great as there were only two girls in charge and they were very nice and friendly. [Laughs]
