08/07/2025: Extremely slow service. 45 minutes for the Tannur appetizer. The paccheri with sea bream ragù was flavorless and had a lot of bones. When we pointed this out to the owner, he indignantly replied, "There are some bones." Not even an apology. The catch of the day took 55 minutes to cook, instead of the advertised 40. And anyway, the dish was flavorless, rather dry, with little seasoning... nothing special. You couldn't taste the freshness of the fish of the day. We had to ask for bread. The bill was okay, with a regular The Fork discount. I don't recommend it in general. Too slow, quality was nothing special.

23/05/2025: If you love cats, craft beers, kombucha, good food and board games this is the place for you! The menu is vegetarian and the gatto bistrò staff is attentive to satisfying everyone's needs and tastes, the dishes are delicious and never banal, the cats are cute and will keep you company. Their beers are highly recommended but also the non-alcoholic drinks🐾⭐️ Remember to book before going!

10/08/2025: Everything was perfect. The truffle tagliata was delicious, and the pasta was also delicious. For the price, in Florence, it's a perfect place if you want something away from the tourist crowds. The owner is charming.

09/08/2025: Food was decent, but what makes the place tempting is the location. It offers a great variety of food but there is a catch. They charge too much for sitting as it is in central location with nice view.

29/07/2025: A wonderful restaurant! The atmosphere of coziness and taste is felt from the first minutes. The establishment specializes in meat dishes, but the menu is regularly updated depending on the season - as the attentive waiter told us. We got there during the period when the menu had several exquisite dishes with porcini mushrooms - everything was incredibly tasty and fresh. In October, as we were told, the truffle season begins - we are sure that it will be no less impressive. The place is very popular, but at the same time not a tourist one - this is especially nice. The staff speaks English and is happy to help with the choice of dishes and wine. We ordered a fillet steak - without exaggeration, 10 out of 10, and pasta with porcini mushrooms - tender, aromatic, perfectly balanced. Desserts deserve special attention - a real delight! Excellent service, friendly team, excellent wine list. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were unable to sit on the terrace, but the restaurant itself - I definitely recommend it. A real gastronomic pleasure.

23/05/2025: I went back there tonight with a friend of mine, both from Puglia! It was like being at home: the staff was unparalleled in kindness, the intimate atmosphere but above all the delicious food! It was difficult to have to choose, the menu really has authentic and timeless delicacies! I also very willingly took the lunch box home that I will enjoy tomorrow at home, and I never do that! I recommend it, also for the tasting menu to enjoy a trip without the burden of having to choose

21/07/2025: The best and most tender Florentine steak I've ever eaten, it looked like butter the way it was cut! 🤤 Super generous portions and everything truly exceptional. Starting with the appetizers, which arrive and you find it already on the table, delicious and fresh local products, excellent house wine and a perfect match with the steak, then continuing with the Florentine steak (tasty and very tender) and finishing with the house desserts,.... you get to the meal and eat the appetizers that are there, to then finish with liqueurs of all kinds and coffee, Paolo is a guarantee now for us Policemen of Florence a fixed stop at least 3/4 times a year, Paolo the owner is unique, a big hug Marco and congratulations for everything as always

20/07/2025: A unique place for its location, yet also unique for its food. The Florentine steak, "ciccia" (as they call it in Florence), tender as butter, with a unique flavor...perfectly cooked... The welcome at the entrance to the osteria was so kind that it's hard to find someone so friendly these days... The appetizers were fantastic...unique...and exquisitely flavored...very generous... 23/07/2025: A tiny restaurant with four tables, so you need to book well in advance. We ate divinely: freshly rolled pasta, four appetizers, a choice of three first courses and three second courses, a choice of three or four desserts, all strictly homemade by Caterina, and to finish, coffee from the moka pot. It felt like being at a friend's house (who cooks beautifully), and the atmosphere is wonderfully convivial...we'll definitely be back. Thank you, Caterina, we look forward to seeing you in Switzerland.

31/07/2025: Celebrated my 50th birthday. Everything was fantastic, the food was friendly, and the atmosphere was great, and the price was also excellent. If I had to recommend it, I'd recommend it wholeheartedly. Money well spent 🥳🥳

28/04/2025: It was lovely coming back to Gigant on my second trip, the food was amazing and halal. Fatima served us all 3 days we were there and she was very helpful and explained to us about the food. My father loved it too and he said thank you for the delicious pasta and seafood.

03/07/2025: Stopped by chance during lunch break. The place is unique with benches made more comfortable by armchairs that can be moved according to needs. The business menu consists of 6 choices. Given the heat I opted for a fresh tartare. The presentation is minimal but with everything you need to compose a seasoned tartare! The meat, Fassona of the highest quality and the egg yolk, fresh and intense. Promoted with full marks. If you pass by here... Worth a stop!
