Impressive and memorable place! Good local food and wine, great location, fast service. We fell in love with the attitude of the owner Luciano, who paid personal attention to everyone, offered a place in the shade for people to wait in line for tables, gave them wine as compensation, water for the children, recommended tasting food and drinks, if you hesitated about the choice and sent everyone off with a kind word. We will remember him with good

This family-run trattoria is well-known in Pienza, so I recommend booking in advance, otherwise you'll almost certainly miss out. In the same little square, there were a couple of other restaurants that were almost empty. At Sette di Vino, there was a constant line of people who, unfortunately, couldn't find a table because everything was packed both inside and out. Mr. Luciano described the dishes of the day, simple but with all the flavor of old-fashioned home cooking. Everything was truly delicious! We had the bread and bean soup, the cannellini beans with oil and onion, the grilled pecorino cheese, either plain or with pancetta, and the marinated vegetables in oil as a side. We didn't order dessert or drink wine. They don't even serve coffee. A fantastic experience, worth repeating and sharing, true Tuscan cuisine from days gone by!

During our visit to the stunning city of Pienza in Val D'Orcia province of Siena, we were in this kitchen restaurant typical of Toscana located in the center of Pienza near the Duomo with numbered internal tables and also all of the view from the piazza
Occhio non servono pasta!!
No, we will accommodate you on an internal plate and order an antipasto crostino toscano with some ingredients that come first with a zuppa di pane e fagioli meta porzione con cipollotto crudo and come secondi salsicce alla griglia with pecorino alla groglia with pancetta and radicchio in salsa speciale ed infine come dessert a dolce serpe di Pienza ossia un antico dolce based on pasta di mandorle, arricchito con canditi, uvetta and pinoli, modellato e arrotolato a spirale to simulate the shape of a serpentine addormentato.
Here you have almost everything you need for a mile. 0
Luciano the proprietario accogliente sorridente competente professionale cordiale available insomma a more di persona prodigo di consigli per tutti ed il servizio attendto veloce e prezzi buoni!!
During our visit to the beautiful town of Pienza in the Val d'Orcia, Siena province, we dined at this osteria serving traditional Tuscan cuisine. It's located in the heart of Pienza, near the Duomo, with numerous tables inside and outside overlooking the piazza.
They don't serve pasta!!
We sat at an inside table and ordered a Tuscan crostini with chicken livers to share as an appetizer. Then, for our first course, a half-portion of bread and bean soup with raw spring onion. For our second course, grilled sausages with grilled pecorino cheese, pancetta, and radicchio in a special sauce. Finally, for dessert, a Pienza snake cake, an ancient almond paste cake enriched with candied fruit, raisins, and pine nuts, shaped and rolled into a spiral to resemble a sleeping snake.
We loved everything. It was delicious, plentiful, and flavorful, with almost all ingredients sourced locally.
Luciano, the owner, was welcoming, smiling, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and helpful. In short, a truly lovely person. He was generous with advice for everyone, and the service was attentive, fast, and reasonably priced!

Seated at a table inside, we ordered Tuscan crostini with chicken livers to share as a starter. For our main course, we opted for a half portion of bread and bean soup with raw spring onion. The next course consisted of grilled sausages with grilled pecorino, pancetta, and radicchio, all topped with a special sauce.
