Recommended by a friend, we stopped here on the last leg of the Via degli Dei. A welcoming place with extremely kind and helpful staff. The Tuscan cuisine was excellent and plentiful, just what we needed after a long hike. It gave us the energy we needed to complete the last leg and reach Florence. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality!

Having received several "nos" from restaurants we've long trusted, and being in the area, we trusted the reviews. A small restaurant that works like clockwork. It doesn't quite reach the heights of others (on tortelli, for example), but the food is more than honest, assuming one sticks to tradition. We had an appetizer of cheeses and polenta with porcini mushrooms. Tortelli with ragù, tagliolini with cacio e pepe, and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle. Aside from the cacio e pepe (we're in Mugello...not Rome), the rest is well worth three stars. The service is very attentive, with very kind and...genuine staff. With water, coffee, and an affogato, it's €64. A valid alternative. P.S. the porcini mushrooms should be taken a bit more ;)
