Pesto e Mortaio In Brugnato

In 'Pesto e Mortaio' family, Italian tradition and good work come together. Gabriele, Pizzaiolo master, stretches the dough on white Carrara marble while the cook carefully arranges the ingredients on the pizza bases. The wood-fired oven is lit and heated daily with oak wood to give that characteristic flavor to each pizza. The attention of the staff is impeccable, as if that were not enough, they serve perfectly in Spanish. The variety of pizzas is wide and it is difficult to recommend just one dish since they are all delicious. The place is small and cozy, it is recommended to reserve in advance. Without a doubt it has been a great discovery in a beautiful small town in northern Italy. 100% recommended. If we return one day we will repeat without a doubt.

Abbiamo passato una piacevolissima serata in famiglia. Il Posto è piccolo ma accogliente. La cucina famigliare. Semplice ma efficace. Non ho provato la pizza ma aveva una bella faccia. Degno di lode il tiramisù fatto da loro. La proprietaria e il figlio sono stati molto gentili e disponibili anche con la nostra bimba di 4 anni. Abbiamo molto apprezzato che non ci è stato addebitato il vino della casa ordinato ma non consumato perché non di nostro gradimento. Non è da tutti! Grazie ancora per il vasetto di pesto offerto. Found this little jem here on Google Maps. One table was free, rest was taken. Cosy atmosphere and friendly service. Super dish, Argentinian 🇦🇷 steak cut in strips with mushrooms. So tender and juicy. Happy with that. My wife ravioli filled with spinach and a walnut cream sauce. Very tasty 😋. Will go back when in the area. Thank you for your kindness for holding on to my forgotten phone 🫣.

Il 26 dicembre molti posti erano chiusi ma di questo posto non ne parlavano male sulle recensioni. Devo dire che le cose più buone erano la focaccia e la farinata e probabilmente non sarebbe stata male neanche la pizza. La tagliata era un po' troppo cotta ma abbastanza morbida, a parte qualche pezzo un po' più difficile. Da premiare la volontà di avere birra artigianale, anche se ho bevuto l'ultima bottiglia, ma sotto le feste ci sta. Consiglio venire per la pizza che probabilmente è il loro forte. Il testarolo era buono ma il pesto sicuramente non è fatto esclusivamente con olio evo e si sentiva l'acidità. Prezzo (90€ per una porzione di farinata, una di testarolo, 2 tagliate, una birra e mezzo litro di vino e una bottiglia di acqua) eccessivo.
