06/04/2025: Sublime. You can see the chef's commitment in every dish. A combination of goodness and beauty of the dishes, almost a shame to eat the "works" that are brought to the table. For each dish, a wine pairing proposed by the talented Cristina is recommended. But all the staff deserve praise. Well done, well done, well done.

04/04/2025: You are welcomed into an elegant and pleasant environment, and accompanied along a complete food and wine journey, extremely refined but strongly connected to the territory and respectful of its seasonality. All the staff are delightful, ready to have a chat and provide any explanations or curiosities. The Chef is pleasantly human and present, making sure in person that everything is to your liking. If you can, treat yourself to this experience. You won't regret it.

05/04/2025: Stopped for a Cappuccino in town and learned about Castle Haderburg. Beautiful and imposing, we knew we had to make this hike up especially because there was a restaurant at the top. So worth it! The staff was super friendly, fun, and welcoming. I wish more people knew about this experience! Top stars! Yes, I bought one of the 15 special bottlings of Haderburg Scotch.

28/02/2025: Beautiful place in the heart of Trani, we've wanted to try it for a long time. We tried the Estro menu, truly superlative dishes. The super-trained dining room staff accompanied us on this journey throughout the dinner. We will return as soon as possible to try the chef's other creations.

09/04/2025: Last night in Palermo 😢 and needed a quick bite. A Putia was delicious. We had a sandwich and a smoked salmon salad. Several other tables were orders wine to enjoy with their meat and cheese platters. The service was helpful and there was a menu in English. Highest quality food in a charming clean cafe setting.

05/04/2025: A unique experience of taste, history and refinement We went to the Piroscafo Lombardia 1908 restaurant in Arona and the experience was simply unforgettable. The restaurant is located on a real vintage steamer, beautifully restored, which takes you back in time with its charm of a luxury boat from the early twentieth century. Every detail is taken care of with elegance: refined furnishings, golden cutlery, brilliant glasses and, in particular, the attention to the wine service which really impressed us. The tablecloths, although not in rich fabrics, were very charming, embellished with a discreet estate logo. The cuisine is gourmet, with products from their estates: meats, cured meats, oil and wine. The menu, although not very long, fully satisfies every taste. We started with cured meat appetizers and a truly exceptional home made giardiniera. As a second course, a Fassona sirloin served with julienned artichokes and potatoes, accompanied by a spectacular mulled wine fondue in which to dip each bite before bringing it to your mouth. The desserts were a worthy conclusion: ice cream with "the fun" (toasted dried fruit, chocolate flakes, chocolate sauce) and a chocolate semifreddo with candied orange fruit, served with a passito wine from their estate. At the end of the meal, the coffee was accompanied by delicious "cuddles", an extremely welcome final touch. The service was exceptional: the maître d' accompanied us with great passion and attention, telling the story of the boat, the raw materials and the dishes, always with competence and discretion. Even small gestures, like immediately replacing a dropped napkin, made a difference. The quality-price ratio is more than correct, especially considering the very high level of the overall experience. We recommend it without hesitation to anyone who wants to experience a truly special lunch or dinner. We are already thinking about who to invite for the next important occasion.

27/03/2025: Il Gramofone is my favorite restaurant in Lucca. It’s a family-owned gem, run by a young couple—he manages the restaurant, and she works her magic as the chef! The menu is small and thoughtfully curated, with 3-4 dishes in each category: starters, first courses, and main dishes. Every item is absolutely delicious. If you’re visiting with a group of four, I recommend ordering different dishes and sharing—you’ll be amazed at how exceptional each one tastes. Be sure to ask for a wine recommendation, too. Their pairings are spot-on and elevate the dining experience even further. After just one visit, you’ll probably find yourself wanting to return. Saying it’s “highly recommended” doesn’t quite do it justice!

01/04/2025: Just ate an excellent ice cream, creamy and with flavors made with local products, excellent the goat ricotta with strawberry tree honey. The 2.50 cone is already big and the ice cream is spread like a rose 🌹 the next day we tasted rum chocolate with dark chocolate flakes inside! congratulations!!! 👍
