28/06/2025: We’ve had the absolute best experience with Fabrizio! His wine recommendations are on point, carefully crafted based on your tastes and come with a lot of explanation. We also took a charcuterie and cheese board that was delicious and at a reasonable price. Fabrizio is really friendly and we had a great chat with him and other customers sitting next to us. Would 100% recommend!

27/06/2025: Fabritzio is an incredible sommelier who absolutely will get you the best wine for your taste, at a surprisingly reasonable price. My friend and I were thrilled with the conversation, the vibes, and the atmosphere. It’s a small local but super comfy and it’s a must visit!!

13/04/2025: We really enjoyed our sunny afternoon spent at Maude last month. Lewis was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and made the wine tasting a lot of fun! The wines were great and if ever back in Wanaka I would definitely go again!

23/03/2025: Wine tasting - delicious, fun and informative experience in the most sunniest surroundings. Loved everything about it: the wines we tased, the sunny spot, and the English guy who did the tasting. Can recommend 100%. Best to make a reservation, it’s 20NZ$. We purchased 2 bottles afterwards and got one wine tasting fee deducted and will remember Maude for our next wine purchase when back in Germany.

29/05/2025: We relied on this pastry shop for our wedding cake, I had the pleasure of speaking with Marco the owner. Marco was very kind in helping me with my doubts, advising us on how to set up the table. I knew that I could not keep up with this thing being the bride and talking to him gave me peace of mind, dealing with someone who loves their job always changes things for the better! We had tasted the cake at the tasting for the choice and it was delicious, the cake at the wedding was equally delicious and all the guests confirmed it . 09/06/2025: This is the best cannoli I ever had in my whole life. I am a cannolo lover, I have tried cannoli all over the place, Roma, Napoli, Palermo, Canada. But hands down on this pasticceria! The ricetta is so smooth, and the shell is so good. The cannoli are made on the spot and super fresh. If you are sicily, you need to come here. It worth the drive! Tips, if the door is not open, call the number on the door, the owner will come!

16/06/2025: We chose the Appaloosa Ranch to celebrate our daughter's First Communion... and we couldn't have made a better choice! Everything was perfect: an original location, surrounded by nature and with attention to detail, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The staff was friendly, helpful and super prepared, accommodating all our requests. A special mention for the cuisine, truly excellent: genuine, high-quality dishes, many of which were made with zero-mile products. Each course had the authentic flavor of things made with love. We received sincere compliments from all the guests, who were enraptured by the original setting, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We initially discovered the Ranch while looking for a place to go horseback riding, and we discovered much more: a simple, true reality, with the flavor of the old days. A place that really deserves to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site for how it manages to combine authenticity, hospitality and tradition. I wish there were more places like this! We had a great time and it will definitely remain our point of reference ❤️

I prezzi sono in linea con quelli della zona ovvero viene fatto pagare un po' tutto più caro rispetto al resto d'Italia: sono zone molto turistiche e questo è lo scotto da pagare. Altre due cose che mi sono piaciute è che la baita fosse piena di ninnoli ed oggettini caratteristici montanari, anche alcune cameriere erano vestite in modo tradizionale.
