A wonderful evening at Alghieri Caffecusina Sitting under the arcades in the evening gave dinner at Alghieri Caffecusina a truly unique atmosphere. The service was excellent and attentive — the staff clearly made every effort to take good care of us throughout the evening. The food was outstanding overall, and the pasta especially stood out as really excellent. The starters and desserts were just as impressive, offering a unique and thoughtfully curated selection. It was evident that the team went above and beyond for us — they even made sure to make my girlfriend’s birthday a little sweeter, a lovely and much-appreciated touch. The wine list deserves a special mention too, focusing strongly on local wines of excellent quality. A clear recommendation for anyone visiting Ravenna — well worth a visit.

A bit like this...neither good nor bad. A quick lunch outside...I ordered a seafood salad and was served a rather paltry plate with calamari, scallops, and 2 shrimp, with sautéed vegetables, for 20 euros... But where's the seafood salad? No octopus, mussels, or clams...the taste was not bad, but the menu didn't reflect the dish. I thought it was a good idea to mention it to the waiter, who then apologized after speaking to the kitchen...anyway, it's a shame.

It's undoubtedly our favorite place in Ravenna, perfect for all occasions: from breakfast to brunch, lunch, aperitifs, and dinner. Dining out here in spring or summer, with a view of Dante's Tomb, feels like being in Dante's Paradise. The cuisine is modern yet practical, with seafood, meat, and vegetarian options, paying close attention to seasonality and showcasing the finest ingredients. For those who love sampling, the "mangiarini" (half-portion) dinner option lets you try multiple dishes without sacrificing anything. Highly recommended!

Best meal ever! We were only here for one night before a cruise and had trouble deciding where to eat. We were so happy we chose this restaurant. Amazing dinner, delicious dessert, good prices and a lovely waiter. Really glad we ate here.

I dare give it full marks. On our last evening in Ravenna, we wanted to eat something that would confirm our vacation in terms of food, a plus with a menu that also included passatelli. When we arrived, there were many tables of friends, and I understood later... My wife and I chose the recommended dishes and, finally, the recommended wines because we realized there were "their reasons" for these choices. When we actually ate, the result was even better. Traditional dishes improved, but not at all predictable: I had water and cream a glass of multi-varietal rosé tortellini del plin, all veal with a liquid cream of aged Parmigiano Reggiano, to eat a tortellino inside the cream as if it were a consommé, as it released a subtle flavor that played with the chewing, or to dry them on a piece of bread to appreciate their perfection in execution and the relationship between filling and pasta inside the perfect shape. Pineapple sliced ​​very thinly with a professional mandolin, hints of ginger. My wife had a glass of Sangiovese. Fresh tuna carpaccio seasoned with samphire. Buckwheat cake with thick redcurrant jam. The finest ingredients with the finest execution. Others have already written that you can ask for full or smaller portions to create your own dinner. The seat near the theater is easy to get to, and I had no problems with the reservation. I recommend making it in advance if it's a busy evening.

The menu offers a variety of options: vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, typical Romagna dishes, and daily specials recommended by the staff.
