12/09/2025: Having traveled throughout Italy for work, I've had the opportunity to visit many grocery stores and butchers, including the very famous CECCHINI in Panzano. I can confidently say that MACELLERIA RIZZIERI IS ONE OF THE BEST BUTCHER SHOPS IN ITALY. The wide selection of meats and their quality, the result of rigorous control of the supply chain, exercised by Rizzieri from the birth of the animals, to the rigorous feeding, to the environment in which the animals must live to ensure their health, etc., are among the qualities that make up their superb meats. The cured meats are also excellent, especially the RIZZIERI ham, and the various roast rolls and carefully selected cheeses are excellent. In the shop you can also find many other delicacies, from jams to pasta to chocolates, etc. It is a place of excellence that absolutely must be frequented!!!

28/08/2025: The meat is excellent and their dishes, such as asado, BBQ ribs, etc., are also fabulous. A real guarantee.

27/08/2025: Good food, cozy, cool dining room, good service. The only flaw: the bathroom is small, uncomfortable, and above all, dirty, due to customers who show little respect for public spaces. Clearly, the busy staff won't have time to clean the bathroom every time it's used. I would, however, suggest checking it out every now and then. It's up to the public spirit of those who use it to leave the restroom as they'd like it. Otherwise, everything's fine!

08/08/2025: A high-quality pizzeria in a somewhat secluded spot in Centocelle. The Neapolitan pizza is extremely light and easy to digest, and the fried foods and appetizers are delicious. The desserts aren't particularly interesting, but that's the only drawback. The prices are super fair, and you can easily stay under €20.

25/07/2025: Siamo appena stati ad un matrimonio ed è stato tutto eccellente, all'aperitivo ai dolci finali. Gli sposi hanno fatto preparare per me un menù senza glutine (sono celiaca) , che era uguale a quello "normale", quindi, con l'aggiunta delle infinite attenzioni del personale al riguardo (anche verso mia cugina che è allergica al nichel), non mi sono sentita esclusa, né diversa (probabilmente come non mi sono mai sentita finora 🫶). Il signor Pasquale, il signor Gervasio e Filomena super disponibili e meravigliosi. Insomma, per me Villa Gervasio vuol dire "casa".

02/07/2025: On June 26, 2025, we crowned our dream of love at Villa Gervasio, and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect setting. The location is simply wonderful: elegant, cared for down to the smallest details and immersed in a romantic atmosphere that made every moment of the day unique. The staff was impeccable: always present, available and attentive to every need of us and our guests. The service was excellent, from the reception to dinner, with refined dishes that won everyone over for their taste and presentation. A special thanks also goes to the management of Villa Gervasio for accompanying us step by step in the organization, with great professionalism and passion. Our wedding was just as we dreamed it: elegant, exciting and unforgettable. We recommend Villa Gervasio to anyone who wants to experience a truly special day, in a location that leaves you speechless!

14/09/2025: We've been away from San Michele for a few years, but it feels like nothing has changed! The atmosphere is unchanged, and the food is still the same: authentic, flavorful, and delicious. The staff is young, cheerful, and attentive to their customers... in a world that seems to be going backwards, here time seems to have stood still. The value for money is exceptional, and even though we dined after sunset, the view is truly breathtaking!

02/09/2025: Among the best pizzas in Florence. You can choose from a variety of toppings, as well as a thick or thin pizza. Prices are reasonable and in line with the quality, and portions are generous. The desserts are also quite good. Excellent service, especially one waitress, who was always friendly and smiling despite her busy schedule.

16/08/2025: The fish was delicious; I opted for the tasting menu, which was absolutely worth it. Prices were slightly above average, but that's okay. They could have shaved a few euros off the final bill to round out the total, considering the table of five people and the high bill. Aside from this small detail, the overall experience deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The tagliolini to share at the end of the meal was a perfect way to end the meal!

15/08/2025: Table of 14. As soon as we were seated, we were insistently offered a €40 appetizer menu, which was repeatedly rejected because everyone didn't like it. The suggestion was repeated by three different waiters, almost to the point of being forced. Before we'd even ordered, we were suggested—rather hastily—that we share two appetizers for the entire table, a solution not suited to our preferences. When we finally managed to order, the appetizers arrived correctly, but before we could finish them, the first courses were "abandoned" on the table. When we asked to serve them after a few minutes, we were told "it's not possible to keep them warm," leaving them to cool while we finished the appetizers. The owner, after pointing out the situation, attempted to remedy the situation by offering six scampi for a table of fourteen, a gesture appreciated but disproportionate to the situation. The wine service also showed little attention: no tastings, bottles simply left on the table. Despite our young age, we know how to behave in a restaurant and how customers should be treated. Unfortunately, the very negative experience overshadowed the quality of the dishes.

Thanks to Valeria's help, the decor was also stunning, just as we'd hoped. The food was excellent, high-quality, and beautifully presented. An unforgettable evening.

10/08/2025: A beautiful Sunday celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary with the whole family. Excellent cuisine, typical of Puglia, spacious and easy to find, not far from town. I'm grateful for the service I received and also for the very kind manager. Definitely recommended for the hospitality and the beauty of the property.

03/09/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, the young waiter was very kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic. The owner was a bit less so...a bit too serious and lacking a smile...otherwise, the food was top-notch! The appetizer of the day was fresh fried porcini mushrooms, delicious, though perhaps a bit pricey for just one dish. The kids had the exceptional traditional skewer, and we had the fondue with meat and house sauces...amazing! All paired with an excellent DOC Valdostano Pinot wine for €30. Kudos to the chef, who, watching from our table at work, seemed the undisputed queen of the kitchen and almost single-handedly able to keep up with the many orders. Excellent and specializing in traditional dishes...rare in the area. Not cheap, but worth it!
