Takos In Poggiardo

We had dinner for a 50th birthday party in the middle of August. It was a beautiful place, meticulously designed, elegant, and refined. The pizza was amazing, and the fruit platters that preceded the dinner were also beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommended!

On the recommendation of our accommodation (Summer Suites 19 in Santa Cesarea Terme), we decided to have dinner here on Saturday, August 1st, and I must say we were all extremely satisfied. We had three pizzas: a Diavola (with fresh chili pepper added at the waiter's suggestion, thanks to him), a Margherita, and a Takos. As a side, we had a portion of really good fries, crispy and perfectly fried. For dessert, a red fruit tartlet with lemon cream was excellent. My only complaint, personally, was the lack (though not excessive) of saltiness in the dough, which was balanced by the bold flavor of the spicy salami and the twist of the chili pepper. Overall, an excellent product, served in a beautiful, elegant restaurant both inside and out (a bit too warm inside, even though they turned on a fan). Friendly service. The price was in line with the quality of the food. Top!

What a delightful find! Great food, kind, welcoming staff and wonderful atmosphere -- all rolled up into one lovely experience. We will make Takos our go-to whenever we're in Poggiardo.

Beautiful restaurant with typical Salento-style decor. We dined outside, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I was surprised by the variety of traditional dishes, such as pignate, scampi tomatoes, broad beans and chicory, etc. I also tried the pizza, which was also very good. I thank the owners for their hospitality and the knowledgeable and attentive staff. I can't wait to return and try other delicacies.

A beautiful place, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. The menu is so inviting and well-explained that I could have ordered every dish! The knowledgeable, friendly staff is always available to recommend the desserts, especially the desserts, which deserve a special mention and were the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. I had a delicious and well-balanced craquelin. A truly pleasant experience.

I was really impressed by the place: the atmosphere is so refined that it doesn't even feel like you're in Poggiardo, but in a corner of Greece! The dishes are excellent, certainly prepared with care and authentic flavors. I had a tuna tartare that tasted exceptional!

Everything was delicious. The place was welcoming and elegant.
