Excellent Calabrian restaurant. Dishes prepared from first-class, local ingredients, creatively elevated to a new, higher level. Good wines from smaller, niche wineries. Pleasant, homely atmosphere. Exceptional value for money. One of the best experiences of this year's vacation.

Michelin start worthy! Outstanding service! Waitress explained everything, even with our poor Italian we could understand what are the dishes and once we received the order we were amazed how good everything was! We even got asked about food allergies and dishes adjusted to our needs. I didn’t expect to get anything gluten-free food in a “non gluten-free” specialised restaurant but I even got crackers instead of bread. Extremely nice! We don’t drink wine but this place is probably amazing for wine lovers.

We followed the reviews, and we weren't wrong. We had lunch (and I must say we arrived quite early) and were greeted warmly. The restaurant's "method" was explained to us, and we were pleasantly impressed. The menu was laid out differently than usual, yet clearly and appealingly, making it easy to understand and share the choices. The portions were small (and priced accordingly) to give you the opportunity to try multiple dishes. Finally, a place where they ask if you have any allergies and what stage you'd like it to be cooked. Simple questions that make you feel pampered. We loved all the dishes we tried (the white focaccia, the meatballs in tomato sauce, the artichokes, the pasta). There's no point in listing them; it's better to go and try them. Even though we're not local, we'll be back with friends to try new recipes. So, see you next time.

Both owners (a married couple) possess great craftsmanship and experience and do their work with a great love for good food. He cooks and ensures you get fantastic food, while she serves you in a very warm and hospitable manner. Two reasons to return immediately. Moreover, the price-quality ratio is top-notch. This gem of Calabria is therefore highly recommended without a doubt!

Very good. But the service is too stressful; she's running around alone at every table, which is a real shame…

On our drive back to Naples we found La Taverna Deglu Ammirati. Hands down the best meal of our adventure. We tried 2 very unique pasta dishes - spaghetti al fucco di bacco and a dish with nduja and apples. Finally ended with a fantastic desert of the day. And the best part ? They are open all day! Don't miss it!!
