We discovered the Fondaco by chance, and despite having seen many other venues before, once we entered, thanks also to Matteo's welcome and empathy, we fell in love with it.
Our day was perfect, both in terms of the organization and the menu.
The decorations were also magnificent...
We felt at home, and all our guests complimented us on our choice
of venue.
I would get married again tomorrow to relive the fantastic day we had.

14/01/2026: Hospitality in an intimate and informal setting. Traditional cuisine with refined Trentino specialties and more, plus a children's menu. The platter of cured meats, cheeses, walnuts, and giardiniera was generous, and we shared it between the two of us. My next dish was the obligatory canederli with butter and sage, while my son enjoyed a generous platter of stewed venison with polenta and sauerkraut. To finish, the homemade strudel, as well as the other desserts on the menu, was served. Impeccable and attentive service. We didn't take photos, but we truly appreciated the attention to detail and quality.

The menu is truly interesting: a wide selection for both meat lovers, with very tempting options, and those who prefer pizza. The pizza is simply fabulous: light dough and excellent quality ingredients.
A place definitely worth a try. I'll gladly return to try other specialties on the menu!

22/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this pizzeria, and I can say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The place is extremely welcoming and clean, with a warm, family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owners are exceptional: helpful, friendly, and always attentive to their customers' every need and request. The same goes for the entire staff, whose professionalism and smiles made our evening even more enjoyable.
As for the menu, I can only describe it as exceptional. Each dish is prepared with extreme care, and you can immediately see the attention paid to the pairings and the quality of the ingredients used. The pizza is perfect, with fresh, tasty ingredients.
I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try excellent pizza in a homey atmosphere.

21/01/2026: We stayed for a while with some work colleagues and were amazed by the welcome and hospitality we received from Luigi, the owner of the complex, who was smiling and very friendly, making us feel at ease; from the friendly, charming, and affectionate waiters; and from the chefs who cooked us delicious and delicious dishes that I still miss today.
I sincerely thank Titti and those who hosted and served us, making us feel at home. I highly recommend it, and I will do my best to return to relive that wonderful experience.

23/09/2025: A very nice Refugio with fantastic food.Had potato ravioli filled with goat cheese and great tomato sauce. Probably better than the Michelin starred restaurant we eat in the other night. Definitely worth the hike.

We dined in amazing restaurants across Rome, Venice, Naples, and Positano—but this was our favorite by far. We loved it so much we had lunch here on our first day in Praiano, I came back the next day for their cooking class (which I absolutely loved!), and we ended our stay with dinner on our last night—it was that good.
Simone, who runs the restaurant and teaches the classes, is the best in every sense of the word. His warmth, passion, and attention to detail truly elevate the entire experience. Add in the beautiful view, and you have an unforgettable meal.
Authentic Italian cuisine, top-quality ingredients, and heart in every dish—just go!
Ps: I’m gluten free and they have the best gluten free pasta ever!!!
05/11/2025: Best meal and experience on the coast! So thankful we were told to try this spot by our driver from our hotel (Piccolo Sant’Andrea). My fish dish was AMAZING! Being sung to was AMAZING! We just had the best time ever. Can’t wait to come back someday!

02/03/2026: Two words sum up my experience there: Simple and Pure!
We found the restaurant by chance; we arrived at the place, an out-of-this-world restaurant from times gone by. (Don't look at the outside; you'll miss all the magic inside.)
At the entrance, a gentleman named Carlo welcomed us. He immediately introduced himself with a brief introduction to his life and what he loves to do every day!
We sat down at the table, two men and two women, and suddenly Carlo brought us two beautiful, freshly picked yellow roses—a simple gesture that was more than appreciated! We started with a beautiful "primrose platter" and he explained everything inside and how it was produced. Every bite tasted of quality and love. The first courses were indescribable, a unique flavor! The desserts are all worth trying, each one better than the last.
While we were eating lunch, we heard a newborn goat crying, so we were curious and asked if we could see him. Suddenly, he brought him to the table, a beautiful goat named Pippo, who kept us company for a few minutes, a wonderful experience we'd never had before. Also, when we were about to leave, Carlo showed up with a bottle of water and four glasses, useful for the return trip since we were coming from Rome... we were speechless!
But in all of this, the real experience was getting to know a person like Carlo, full of joy, always attentive in his manners, thoughtful, satisfied with where he's arrived now with all his sacrifices (things that are overlooked these days). What can I say... not just a simple lunch, but a real emotion!
