La Tana Degli Orsi In Teramo

The external panorama leaves you as speechless as the food. Not going there really means missing out on something.

We chose this place absolutely by chance, because it was lunch time and we had already driven almost four hours on our way to a tourist weekend between L'Aquila and Ascoli. We therefore had no expectations and instead, La Tana degli Orsi turned out to be one of the best trattorias we have ever eaten in, a place from which restaurateurs in our area could draw more than excellent lessons. A single starter, split in two, which would have been more than enough for a work day's lunch. Local cured meats and cheeses, mozzarella in carrozza, tripe, ventricina, cacio e ova, grilled vegetables, beans (I hope I don't forget anything), all really excellent and very abundant, special mention for the tripe, tasty and well cleaned, truly delicious, in balanced between delicacy and liveliness. A first course each: gnocchi with sausage and truffle, divine, excellent seasoning, but special above all for the consistency and spaghetti alla guitar with pallotte, very tasty and, here too, excellently made pasta. At this point we were really full, the portions were generous to say the least, and we were sincerely sorry not to be able to taste anything else (I had spotted the pasta and beans which showed a beautiful face). We would go back tomorrow if the place wasn't almost 300 km from our home. A detail that never hurts: the guys who run the place are very kind and nice. In short, really, if I had to describe the ideal trattoria I would send directly to La Tana degli Orsi to explain myself. I don't know if they charge two prices for lunch and dinner for the bill, but we ate very well and a lot (things that often don't go together, I skipped dinner!) for an amount that near Bologna it wouldn't even be spent in the canteen, I'll let the images speak for themselves. What can I say, I hope that this place has the success it deserves and I offer my warmest congratulations to the owners.

Ristorante fuori dai luoghi mondani e affollati, semplice ed essenziale. Pietanze gustose, piatti locali, cordialità insuperabile, simpatia di Egidio ( il proprietario) é un valore aggiunto, conto eccezionale. Unica pecca? la chiusura serale. Peccato!

Mi ha portato un amico dopo diverse raccomandazioni ad andarci. Difficilmente si trova il posto e non è difficile capirne il motivo. Antipasto ricchissimo, con trippa, pallotte cacio e ovo, fagioli e affettati . Primo piatto fagioli e cotiche da urlo. Pizza dolce di una volta. La prossima volta prenderò il secondo 😅. Tutto incredibilmente buono e delicato nei sapori. Consigliatissimo 👍

Amabilità, cortesia, gentilezza... Quando ti siedi a mangiare e ti senti come a casa tua sia per l ambiente e per l ospitalità tanto come per la qualità della cucina 5 stelle risultano insufficienti... Abbiamo iniziato con l antipasto Della tana che a parte degli affettati e formaggi tipici del posto comprendeva tanto di TRIPPA ,(fantástica...tanto che ne abbiamo richiesto una porzione a parte!) FAGIOLI E COTICHE e POLPETTE CACIO E OV (da farci la scarpetta per chi non avesse i baffi da leccarsi!! Siamo passato ai primi... TAJIARILL E FACIUL (tagliolini e fagioli), MALTAGLIATI SALSICCIA E TARTUFO (e il tartufo si sentiva davvero!!) e non poteva mancare la CHITARRINA NGHE LE PALLOTTE....ai livelli della cucina della nonna, quella di "una volta"... Purtoppo non siamo riusciti a passare ai secondi piatti perché le quantitá ci hanno sorpreso ed eravamo già "satolli"! Questo si...non potevamo non provare la PIZZA DOGGJ (dolce tipico e di antiche generazioni)...INCREDIBILE... Il tutto ai piedi del Gran Sasso...vista maravillosa! Cosa chiedere di più?? Solo rimaneva il conto...e forse non ce l hanno ancora portato visto che siamo rimasti davvero stupiti (visto i tempi in cui viviamo!!) Che aggiungere.... É stata davvero una grande e bellissima scoperta questa "Tana degli Orsi"... RITORNEREMO!! GRAZIE,GRAZIE DI CUORE!!! consigliato assolutissimamente!

Ci siamo stati 3/4 volte da soli o con parenti che dire tutto buonissimo e non vediamo l'ora di tornarci. Dall'antipasto ai primi per finire con i secondi tutto sublime
