12/07/2025: It was a joy to discover this restaurant! We spent two days at a resort in Umbria where the food was truly awful, but luckily Locanda del Busta was just 10 minutes away. Exceptional! We went two nights in a row and will definitely return when we return to Umbria! The food is excellent, simple, and of the highest quality. The owner is truly polite, and all the staff are absolutely top-notch, kind, and helpful. A special thanks to Mrs. Giovanna, who works there with great passion and professionalism.

09/10/2025: Delicious, 100% plant-based dishes. The agnolotti were special, as was the sushi. The only flaw in my dinner was the dessert. I had the tiramisu, and honestly, I didn't like it, but that's probably just personal preference. Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: Eight of us had lunch this Sunday. The appetizers were incredibly tasty (bruschetta with anchovies was out of this world!!). For main courses, we tried the amatriciana and the tagliatelle with hare ragù. The amatriciana was very delicate but delicious. For dessert, we had the hazelnut cake, which was described as the best dessert I've ever tasted. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. I highly recommend it.

05/10/2025: Panino of dreams. Lovely service. I ordered a Panino con panelle e crocchette which is a vegetarian sandwich with chickpea fritters (wow) and potato croquettes (yum). The bread was perfection. Fresh, with a crisp crust and delightfully soft on the inside. The fillings were magic - although fried, it tasted fresh and flavourful. This is possibly the best sandwich you will ever have.

02/11/2025: We ate divinely well, leaving aside the enormous dishes. We started with a huge house appetizer, then moved on to stuffed calamari and meatballs in grandma's sauce, and finished with amazing desserts. My favorite was the pistachio tiramisu. All this was complemented by the friendliness of the owner, accompanied by her two very kind twin sons. We'll be back soon.

02/10/2025: Best restaurant you can visit in Ischia. Cheap, all sort of food and then even if you don't eat pizza or spaghetti you can still get many other things like Schnitzel, Burger, Mushrooms, Salads, etc. Almost every fine dish costs 9-10€ and you still get bigger portion then in other restaurants for 15-20€.

28/10/2025: Absolute luxury! One of the best pizzas I've ever had – the dough was perfect, crispy yet fluffy, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was perfectly balanced. The service was nice, fast and the atmosphere was pleasant. When you say Italy, this is exactly how I imagine a real pizza – simple, honest and irresistibly tasty. 03/10/2025: I've been wanting to try "La Refezione" for a while, partly because I live quite close by and the reviews I'd been hearing were overwhelmingly positive. Finally, I had the opportunity for lunch, and what can I say? It's simply impossible not to give this place top marks, enchanting in every way. Let's start with the location: the restaurant is located inside a sports club, nestled in a quiet, green area that feels like a true oasis of serenity. Not that Garbagnate is a major metropolis, but this corner is truly charming and lets you unwind as soon as you step inside. Inside, the rooms are incredibly spacious, airy, and furnished with a simple, modern taste that never feels oppressive or pretentious. There's elegance, but you immediately feel at ease. And then there's the welcome, the service. Here, we're truly beyond par. From the managers who welcome you with a sincere smile, to the attentive yet unobtrusive wait staff, to the chefs you can glimpse at work in the kitchen. Let's face it, you go to a restaurant to eat, but the setting and the people can transform a good meal into a memorable one, and they know it very well here. But let's get to the point: the food. We opted for the tasting menu. Unfortunately, it's not the same one I see now on the website, so my memory falters and I don't remember every single course in detail. But it doesn't matter, because the memory of the quality is crystal clear. Everything was excellent, with a couple of peaks of pure excellence. The first course, a dish with shrimp, porcini mushrooms, and potatoes: a masterful balance, with each ingredient absorbing and reflecting the flavors of the others, a true harmony. The second course, which literally stunned me with its simplicity, was the beef fillet baked with oil, rosemary, and poached garlic. It might seem like a "banal" dish, almost home-cooked. And yet it was a masterpiece. Perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful meat that melted in your mouth, and a matching olive oil that just had to be there! Paradoxically, it's precisely from these essential dishes that you understand everything: the absolute quality of the ingredients and the skill of those in the kitchen. If I were to split hairs, perhaps the three-meat lasagna, delicious as it may be, would have benefited from a minute less in the oven to be perfect. But it's truly a minor detail in an impeccable journey. The philosophy that permeates this place is that of a cuisine rooted in tradition, yet capable of reinterpreting and enriching it with flavor and respect, without distorting it (which wouldn't be a bad thing in itself, but it needs to be done in a way that gives it meaning, not just for gratuitous showmanship). In short, I hope I'll have the opportunity to return soon. I recommend it without the slightest reservation. Truly well done.
