Found this restaurant from a recommendation on Reddit. Excellent food with a modern take on classic Tuscan dishes. We had the pickled vegetables, chickpea salad, eggplant Parmesan, pappardelle with wild boar ragu, the special beef tortellini, cacio pepe with porcini mushrooms, tiramisu and blueberry cheesecake. All delicious. Just off the Main Street. The owner was friendly and gave us a little history of the restaurant. Left with full bellies and souvenir t-shirts!

We (2 adults, 2 kids) went here based on good reviews and we were not dissapointed.
The place is a bit hidden and not on the main tourist path, but still close to all the main attractions. We were practically the only guests, so it was very quiet and relaxing, which was great.
The food was excellent. We had meatballs in tomato sauce, pasta and wild boar. The staff was very friendly and they brought homemade bread with olive oil before the meal, which was a nice touch.
It's too bad we're staying in Siena for only one day, otherwise we would visit again for sure.
P.S.: My wife said she had the best caffe latte since she can remember. And she drinks a lot of coffee :))

Such a great find on Siena. Visited today for a lateish lunch and was made very welcome by the excellent staff. Service was first class. We went for Tuscan antipasti and primi (panzanella and pici) and these were very tasty. A great wine of the week complimented the food choices perfectly. A really enjoyable experience and would 100% recommend this place if you are looking for the perfect food, wine and service experience. Oh, and the tiramisu was to die for!! 😍

Ate here twice during our week in Siena. This is just a great bistro. Good food, good wine, great service with a smile and an easy atmosphere. Wish it was in my home town.

We spontaneously visited Bruscello in mid-September during our trip to Siena and were absolutely thrilled. Superb service, fantastic food, and great wine. It was the best meal I had on my entire trip to Italy!
We ordered the pici (incredibly good!), the stracotto di manzo al chianti con purea di patate, beef tongue arrosticini with teriyaki sauce, and for dessert, a crepe cake and the "Taste of Siena" coffee, along with a very good espresso.
Everything about the evening was perfect, and I highly recommend spending an evening here :)

This review is long overdue! We booked this fabulous restaurant for a birthday dinner in October 2025 with a group of 11, and it was perfect. Marco, the owner, was truly amazing! He helped me craft a wonderful menu, and every single person absolutely loved their meal. It was a memorable evening, and I’m so grateful for Marco and his incredible hospitality. Highly recommend!
