07/06/2025: When entering this classical Italian eatery to enjoy a Valdostano menu you feel like being transferred some fifty years back in time, not only by the interior decoration but also by the soft jazz being played over the loud speakers and the strict black and white outfit of your fun English speaking waitress. It was only the white apron that was missing. I had the best polenta ever and wines by the glass were excellent. Bert good value for money!

24/05/2025: It may also be a well-kept place with aesthetically beautiful desserts, as far as quality is concerned they are not the best. I also had ice cream, little choice of flavors, €20.70 for a 1kg tub of frozen ice cream probably made with a lot of water. In addition to the long time it took the sales assistant to fill a tub for me. I am updating my review due to a squalid situation that occurred following one (or rather two) obviously old croissants from the day before. I kindly pointed this out since it is a pastry shop and not a bar... I was answered by a boy and a gentleman (I assume the owner) with an annoyed tone, that the croissants were from that morning. For the fools you take those who have never left the house. Goodbye and thank you, my advertising will be anything but positive! The cake ordered was nice, no more than nice and quite good, not exactly similar to the photo sent...

18/05/2025: Finally last night, we managed to try this pub, after trying to go several times. In fact, I recommend booking at least a day in advance (but even earlier to be safe). We tried the chips with the skin, the classic chicken wings, the pulled pork bites and two of their sandwiches. The price may seem high, but it is actually fair both for the quantity of the dishes and for their goodness. Different beers, with a good variety, especially among the bottled ones. Food rating: 5. The service was always attentive and kind, without ever being too invasive. It was a service that makes you want to go back even just for their staff, especially the gentleman who was behind the bar. Service rating: 5. The place is small, but very well decorated. As soon as you open the door you feel like you are teleported into a typical English pub. The music is not too loud, so it is possible to converse, without shouting, but with an appropriate tone of voice. Ambience rating: 4.5. Final rating: 4.8. Fully recommended and we will definitely be back.

07/05/2025: During a holiday on Lake Garda with my wife, we decided to try this Pub, a small place, furnished in English Pub style, wide choice of sandwiches and beers, very friendly owner. We both take a Britannia burger + blonde beer recommended by the owner, fantastic sandwich, among the best ever eaten, excellent beer too, costs adequate for the quality.

28/06/2025: Very nice place, kind and pleasant service, beautiful table setting, strong point also the lake view outside on the terrace. The food however is not up to par, pasta with clams tasteless and soupy on the bottom. The tentacle with nduja and mashed potatoes is a very good pairing, but it must be left whole and grilled, because in slices it seems to have come out of a defrosted vacuum. Very limited choice of wines by the glass (one if not 2 choices after request) There is potential but the preparations need to be reviewed and corrected
