Personalized Recommendations by a Wine Expert Not only are the servers incredibly friendly, but a wine expert (sommelier) personally visits your table to recommend wines that pair well with the dishes. The recommended pairing was truly "amazing," so if you enjoy wine, be sure to ask for a recommendation. 3. An Impressive Course Meal (Soup Highly Recommended!) While the entire course was excellent, the soup served first was particularly impressive—so much so that I would call it the best meal of the entire trip. 4. Overall Review For those wondering, "Do you want to experience a proper Michelin-starred restaurant in Sicily?", I don't think there is a better option than this. It was a meal where everything—taste, atmosphere, and service—was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal! ^^!

We visited at the beginning of March, and it was one of, if not the, most memorable meals we’ve ever had. The service was impeccable from start to finish: attentive without ever being overbearing, striking the perfect balance throughout the evening. My partner has a fish allergy, which was accommodated seamlessly across all courses, with no fuss at all. We ordered from the à la carte menu and the food was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients truly shone through, and the level of care across every dish was first class. Highlights included the beef tartare with shaved truffle, as well as the lamb ragù and cheese-filled pasta (both the staff and other reviews insist you order this - and they’re absolutely right!). Finally, the wine: Paolo’s pairing recommendations were spot on. A brilliant mix of interesting local Sicilian wines alongside excellent Italian and French options - the Burgundy selection in particular is seriously impressive.

Excellent menu – even for vegetarians like me! That's often where you really see if Michelin-starred cuisine is up to par ;-) Perfect service and a superb sommelier – we wholeheartedly recommend Vineria Modi!

The food was very good, interesting combinations and well executed. The pre desert was indeed a bit too soury, as we have been warned in advance, but I still enjoyed it. However, the waiter had a rather inappropriate comment after finding out that we are Romanians, telling us that he expects to find all the silver spoons after we use them. Maybe it was meant only as an innocent joke, at least that's what I choose to believe, but it made some very uncomfortable to the point we almost left on the spot, so maybe more finesse in the future.

A top choice gourmet expereince in Taormina

Well deserved Michelin star for this talented female chef! We had the degustation which included incredible amuse bouche plus a pre dessert and a post dessert. We did the matching wines which were excellently curated by the lovely sommelier. They were flexible around my preferences too and allowed me to swap some dishes. Cannot recommend this enough. Sure it’s not cheap but by world standards its value for the quality and service.

Fantastic experience! We took the 6 pieces tasting menu with wine paring and it was so tasty. The chef adjusted the menu for my gluten intolerance. Everything was perfect. All the waiters are so kind and describe everything. We really had a great time !
