05/11/2025: We waited three hours to see our dishes. If there wasn't a chance of providing adequate service, we could have simply let them know and we would have happily chosen another place. Twenty minutes passed between each course, and there were five of us, so everyone ate independently. In these situations, it would have been polite to offer a discount or a meal, but nothing.

02/11/2025: Pangea was probably faster. I'll briefly summarize my painful experience there. We booked a table for 9:30 PM by calling after 8 PM (so, when service was already underway). We arrived at the restaurant precisely at the appointed time, noticing a crowd of people in front of the restaurant who had booked for 9 PM and were still waiting. And from there began probably the longest wait of my life, beyond even a birth. They seated us at a whopping 10:30 PM, outside, at a table isolated from everyone else, in the freezing cold, while the others were under a tent with some warming mushrooms, and we were the only ones excluded from this privilege. Even though we tried to ask to be moved—not immediately, of course, but only when a table became available indoors or under the awning—we were told yes and no. Either way, the bottom line was that we were left eating in the cold (and given the hour and the amount of hours we'd been waiting, it was truly freezing). Our first ramen arrived at a whopping 11:30 PM, followed by the second a full 15 minutes later. So, as if that weren't enough after all this waiting, we didn't even get to eat them together. We finished our meal after midnight, and of course the staff didn't offer us the slightest discount, except for an embarrassing apology, which arrived only after we'd paid. What can I say, the ramen was good, but you have to decide for yourself whether 15 minutes of satisfaction is worth a two-and-a-half-hour wait. I don't know if it was just an isolated incident and therefore a bad day, and I feel sorry for them, but what is certain is that my day was ruined too.

19/09/2025: We arrived in Levanzo around 1 PM and were looking for somewhere to buy something to eat. We ordered pane cunzato and arancini. Amazing! Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: Excellent sandwiches with bread and pizza, with a wide variety of options at a great price. The staff is friendly and helpful. Shaded benches outside with a sea view! Please note: closing time is 1:30 PM (reopens at 6 PM).

21/10/2025: An excellent fish-based lunch, a truly top-notch appetizer, and even the dessert at the end was delicious.

16/10/2025: So you can see that the whole restaurant is going down the drain. Instead of Italian gastronomy, it's German. One wine fridge at the bar disappeared and was replaced by beer. The portions have shrunk 3 times and a whole page of burgers has been added to the menu. And last but not least, I was struck by the dirty word ketchup in Italy, which convinced me enough to not go here again. Maybe I'll just wish you Mahlzeit!!! 🤭

20/09/2025: Risotto and tagliatelle with freshly picked porcini mushrooms that as soon as you eat them excite you with the smells and flavors of Calabria. A platter of cured meats and cheeses for two is super rich, ditto for taste and freshness. Add to that the restaurant boasts 50 years of experience in catering to true and authentic Calabrian cuisine. "I don't know who's writing this much." MANCULICANI GENTLEMEN, I LOOKED AT MY STOMACH. 16/11/2025: A beautiful evening, excellent food, from the starter to the main course and dessert. All vegetarian, with truly delicious traditional Italian flavors. A very charming place, with many little touches in the decor that make it a constant source of discovery.

24/09/2025: Absolutely delicious food, not to be missed! The pasta was delicious and unique, as well as the mushroom balls. Very good quality dishes and ingredients. The service was so warm and inviting. A must-try!

20/10/2025: Excellent pizza, available for dine-in or takeout. The atmosphere is informal and usually crowded (reservations are recommended). The staff is courteous and punctual.

25/10/2025: Don't let the appearance of the place fool you, because we were impressed by the freshness of the raw materials. Everything was excellent, found out via smartbox, but we will definitely be back. Very kind and welcoming staff.

16/10/2025: Excellent restaurant offering varied and delicious dishes—the food is truly, truly, truly good! 🍽️ The servers are lovely: kind, cheerful, and always available to explain the dishes or offer helpful advice, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm, the service attentive, and the quality of the food is impeccable. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!

22/08/2025: A place surrounded by greenery. Just a few kilometers from the stunning Torre Astura sea. Very welcoming rooms, with a modern and innovative design. All the necessary comforts are present, without being pretentious, of course, considering it's a B&B. We stayed in the Green Suite. In my opinion, every detail was meticulously designed and beautifully appointed. The cleanliness is nothing short of astonishing. The perfect location to unwind and find some peace and relaxation. The owners are helpful and friendly. I recommend this experience to everyone.

26/10/2025: Back to this little restaurant, and once again, an experience to treasure! This time on a Saturday night, the restaurant was almost fully booked, yet the service was impeccable, the atmosphere intimate and refined, and the food sublime. We were delighted to discover new culinary offerings and appreciate the new accolades received by this young team of professionals led by Chef Alessio. It's truly a pleasure to be pampered by this small but highly original restaurant on the outskirts of Rome. Congratulations, indeed!

10/10/2025: I was in Valmontone for work, I had lunch at Specus and immediately felt at home. Alessio and Flavia welcomed me as if we'd always known each other. The atmosphere was clean and quiet, and the cuisine was authentic and delicious. It will be a destination for three lunches and dinners. My compliments to Alessio and Flavia. Thank you for the wonderful lunch.
