25/07/2025: We went for dinner to celebrate a birthday, our first time there. We chose it because we were intrigued by the good reviews about the food and the attention given to celiacs. I must say we were very pleased; we ate some off-menu dishes that were nothing short of exceptional. The celiac was very pleased with the taste and flavor, which he doesn't always find. We finished with desserts... delicious... but what I loved most was the hospitality and the welcoming staff... thank you so much for a wonderful evening... keep up the good work... 🔝🔝

30/08/2025: An insult to common sense and your wallet If you're looking for a mountain aperitivo and are within a few kilometers of Castel di Sangro, Roccaraso, and Rivisondoli, I recommend you avoid Ristoro La Foce in Scontrone. Our experience was a true insult to common sense and your wallet. The "tagliere" (a platter) offered for eight people (already insufficient for three) was a sad spectacle: prosciutto crudo of embarrassing quality, prosciutto cotto (in an aperitivo... a true gastronomic horror), four measly strips of industrial cheese, and a few slices of stale pizza bread, more worthy of the trash than the table. Price? 48 euros. Not content, we ordered a small plate of "gateau di patate" (potato gateau) topped with the unlikely stale crumbs of some ancestor of rustic pizzas, which immediately revealed themselves to be a receptacle of scraps: five microscopic portions for 32 euros. The Spritz? A masterpiece of absence: transparent, alcohol-free, divorced from even the most mediocre discount prosecco. A watered-down drink passed off as a cocktail. An insult to the very concept of a "drink." In short: ridiculous portions, starred restaurant prices, the quality of a run-down fast food joint. If you value your wallet, your taste buds, and your dignity, do yourself a favor: pass by. In the area, you're sure to find places where aperitivo is still a pleasure, not a joke. And then there's the old trick of the non-fiscal receipt, just to cap off a truly forgettable experience. The restaurateur smiles at the thought of having cheated yet another customer and is ready to suggest "please note" the bill, which, of course, is sent back with disdain and the promise of educating friends and acquaintances on a trip to the charming village of Scontrone, in the province of L'Aquila.

20/08/2025: Tenuta Masi never disappoints! A few kilometers from the center of Lazise, easily accessible by road, lies this splendid winery and restaurant nestled among olive trees and vineyards. The farmhouse, the dining rooms, the wine shop, and the outdoor tables among the olive trees are meticulously maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and the service impeccable. The menu is simple and never boring. We've stopped here numerous times and enjoyed the excellent risotto all'Amarone, the delicious antipasto of mixed fried fish, and the pike with polenta, to name just a few of the dishes. The wine selection is obviously excellent, so much so that we always take a few bottles home. It's always a treat to stop by Tenuta Masi, and it certainly won't be our last!

18/08/2025: Perfectly combined flavors, carefully selected wines, all set against the backdrop of the setting sun over the ubiquitous vineyards. It's worth venturing a bit beyond the city's bustle and mediocre fast-food restaurants to experience the "slow food" atmosphere in a kitchen brimming with local produce and traditional recipes. On-site, you can also tour the vineyard, see the winemaking process, enjoy a wine tasting, and purchase the best wines from the winery at reasonable prices, especially considering the quality.

28/08/2025: Outstanding Service by all staff. Very friendly and helpful. Many variety dish options in Menu . Authentic and Fresh Lebanese Cuisine. Loved the food flavours and the ambience. It’s a Gem in Como and must visit. Provide good options in hot drinks also. Highly Recommended.

13/08/2025: We discovered this restaurant off the beaten track and were thrilled. The incredibly friendly waitress explained the special nature of each dish on the menu, as well as the special dishes of the evening. Everything is carefully selected, and the salad comes from a nearby farmer. The dishes are very special and cannot be found on any other menu. We had various starters and main courses and loved everything. The great thing is that the atmosphere is so pure and natural; it's all about good food with high-quality ingredients. Fantastic; we will never forget this evening.

20/08/2025: My wife and I dined here twice during our stay in Ortisei. This restaurant felt more authentic and local, and not like a tourist trap which other places felt like. The pizza, on in the indoor stone, is very good. The lasagna was very good. And the chocolate cake was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend this place over places near the center. The food tastes better and you get more for your money.

26/07/2025: Después de intentar sin éxito conseguir un taxi para 7 de nosotros (o para ser/c no hay ninguno grande con las calles estrechas en Siena) , el señor (puede haber sido el propietario) nos ayudó utilizando su “línea directa” para nosotros. Los taxis nos corrieron por las calles de Siena y hicimos nuestro autobús con minutos de sobra. Estuvimos muy agradecidos y agradecidos por sus esfuerzos. Gente increíble!
