Very nice place, with a spectacular view of the Sassi. Nicola is a great host and an excellent chef, Giuseppe is knowledgeable and friendly. The dishes are excellent. I highly recommend it. See you guys.

A hidden gem in Matera. We hadn’t booked in advance and were lucky enough to get the last table of the night. It’s a small restaurant with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, from the starter to main and the dessert, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was a wonderful surprise and the perfect meal before we left Matera.

A wonderful place and even more wonderful food. The ravioli stole my heart. Nikola made us feel at home. If you want to try Materski's unique cuisine, this is the place to go.

12/04/2026: I should point out that I only used the restaurant service. I had a family lunch with a fixed menu for €38: everything was delicious, varied, plentiful, and locally sourced. The atmosphere is welcoming and ideal, especially for children, given the rides and animals. You can also purchase their homemade products on site. Piera, whom we interacted with, was truly wonderful and helpful. She even helped our little son repot some basil. We'll see you again soon!

La Cremeria dell'Angelo

07/04/2026: waitress was really nice brought us a coffee to our table and the gelato i think was the best in my life i recommend this place from the bottom of my heart
07/04/2026: The line you have to wait before getting your turn makes you imagine how worth it it is. As a gelato fan, I can confidently say it's among the best I've ever eaten! I'll be back.
