But what can be said, or at least what can be added beyond what they already offer? I'll tell you: nothing. The service is nothing short of excellent, dedication is their strong point. Those who work there convey to the customer the value they give to the place they work for. The dishes? Let's not even talk about it: the quality is unquestionable. Whatever you choose, you'll want to eat it again. I can only compliment the management of this restaurant. It's very well-established. It's like feeling at home! Excellent location, top service, top dishes, reasonable price

Excellent restaurant. We had the mixed antipasto with typical specialties, all very good. The tagliata was excellent, but especially the primo with shrimp and pistachios was superb. The waiters were kind and attentive, and they even added sausage to the children's off-menu pasta with tomato sauce (and no extra charge). We absolutely recommend it!

Excellent experience, authentic and light dishes. We recommend the appetizer tasting to sample the various flavors of Lucanian cuisine.

It's just like Matera: historic, ancient, traditional, new, modern, young, and dynamic. An experience. Special dishes on the menu and just as many off-menu ones. Whether it's a side dish, appetizer, first course, second course, etc., every dish is carefully crafted in form, substance, and rich in flavors that lead to a continuous and enjoyable tasting where with every bite you repeat, "...no, okay, what is that?!" Luckily, the chef delights in coming out of his realm, in full view at the entrance, to get to know the customers and explain the dishes. The "scarpetta" (scraping the bread) is the final act of love. An experience for everyone, young and old (mine was 11). Service: we tried to book, but we weren't guaranteed a seat outside—quite the opposite. The welcome was therefore a bit cold, cynical, and heartless, only to find ourselves, not even a minute later, seated on the terrace overlooking Matera by night, ready to order from the young, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. I hope it manages to maintain this quality/price ratio, where quality is expressed not only in the food but also in the people, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness of the place (including bathrooms), etc., in the spectacular setting of Matera. A stunning venue just steps from Matera's historic center, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the service is prompt, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Great prices and delicious traditional dishes. We especially recommend the appetizer tasting menu, which is truly delicious. We also loved the first courses. Highly recommended.

MateraMì gave us a true culinary experience, combining tradition and sublime flavors, all enhanced by the passion, expertise, and great friendliness of the host, Chef Nicola. The attention given to my mother, who is celiac, was excellent. She ate with ease, from starter to dessert, choosing her favorite dishes from the menu, prepared especially for her in gluten-free versions. Thank you for giving us a wonderful time and sweetening the end of our vacation. We can't wait to return.
