12/08/2025: Really good value for money! No long wait for the food despite the busy schedule! The food was very good! (We had pizza) You can get a table before 7:00 PM, after that, a reservation is recommended, otherwise you'll have to wait a bit longer! A limoncello shot after dinner is also included!

09/08/2025: Extremely nice restaurant, with fantastic food and wine. The dishes are based on Piedmontese cuisine, but with a sense of renewal. A huge advantage that they match each dish with a wine recommendation by the glass The staff is very competent and nice. We will gladly come back here

16/07/2025: Excellent experience, located in the center of Castagnole Lanze, with ample parking just a few meters away. The attention to detail was evident both in the restaurant and in the dishes, served with professionalism and courtesy. Very friendly and helpful, even my vegetarian wife appreciated the menu's variety and the suggestion of some modifications to some dishes to better accommodate her. The wine cellar is well-stocked, and we even appreciated the opportunity to tour it with the owner. We enjoyed everything, from the delicious and carefully prepared dishes to the equally delicious bread and breadsticks. We will definitely return. The prices are reasonable for the service and are clearly displayed on the menu. At the tables around us, tourists were happy to find explanations in native English from the staff. A very pleasant evening.

Perhaps, if we really wanted to make an observation, to continue improving, I'd suggest removing any flour residue from the base where the pizza is cooked, otherwise it looks like it's burnt, but it isn't.... Anyway, well done.

08/09/2025: Completely tasty and satisfying experience. I had the Palmira, consisting of Mujaddara, kibbeh, salad, and hummus. It filled me up well, healthy and satisfying. I was glad to see the place crowded. Nicely decorated walls with plants. Also gluten-free friendly, although they do indicate a possibility of cross contamination if you are celiac. The Wi-Fi didn't work and reception there is spotty, which is why I took one star off of service.

04/09/2025: We came for dinner and returned for lunch the next day because we enjoyed it so much. We tried the eggplant piadinas, which were truly excellent and plentiful. The piadinas were excellent value, but slightly less so for the falafel platter (which was still delicious). The place is small and very charming. The staff were friendly.

Emotions of the soul were enhanced by the smiles, kindness, and infinite sweetness of the wonderful Francesca, a wonderful woman who, punctually, along with the phenomenal Chef, an expert mushroom hunter and phenomenal cook, approached the table to interact with my wife and me. Wonderful smiles and an immense heart. Their service is characterized by an above-average level of preparation, professionalism, kindness, courtesy, friendliness, and absolute precision. Together, they bring infinite joy to those who know how to appreciate the sweetness and refinement of the soul. A continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begins with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminates in the perfection of the evolution at the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the raw materials of excellent quality. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. Cucine e Pensieri is a place where time stands still and everything becomes a dream come true. The quality of the products is among the best you'll find in the area. But... there's one thing that stands out above all else: the meat with mushrooms and truffles. Someone said it was scrumptious... I completely agree! As a chef with 30 years of experience... one of the best I've ever tasted. At Cucine e Pensieri, everything is IMPECCABLE, and you'll discover unique details you won't find anywhere else. The fruit flavors are incredibly fresh and natural, while the cream flavors are rich and indulgent—the pistachio, in particular, is to die for! The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to offer advice. The atmosphere is refined and clean, perfect for a sweet break. Highly recommended for those who love authentic artisanal gelato. I'll definitely be back!
