Tora Tora In Pisa

Superb cooking, really enjoyed the meal of local dishes and entrecote. Well seasoned.

If you are in Pisa I would say it is a MUST to go here. An absolutely fantastic restaurant with a cozy outdoor seating area. Came there with my wife and our 15 month old baby and was immediately treated like one of the family. High chair available. The food is delicious. Better than anything we have encountered during our previous 2 weeks in Italy. What are you waiting for, go here!

We went out for dinner last night. After searching for a long time and hoping we wouldn't fall into a tourist trap, we ended up at this restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised. Very friendly service and good food. We certainly do not regret dining here, and it is definitely worth a repeat visit. The atmosphere is also very nice; a cozy square where (very young) and old come together in a friendly atmosphere. I only missed the street musician. All in all, a very successful evening.

I did not expect this level of cuisine and thoughtfulness given its reasonable price. Each dish we ordered had a little bit of a spin on the classic versions that it kept the meal interesting but still delivered plenty of flavour and excellence! Our favourite was the Vongole which had a turnip top puree with burrata as a dressing. The fresh clam flavours still shined through but the dish was elevated by the turnip top sauce! Service was excellent and attentive. We ordered a portion of shrimp croquettes to share. The chef was nice enough to bring it out in 2 plates to save us the trouble. The restaurant was a little under staff. Our waitress did an amazing job, please hire more people so she doesn’t have to dash from table to table!

One of my favorite restaurants I went to! The tartare was just melted, the spaghetti with sea urchin and anchovy sauce was unique and delicious, the dessert was amazing, the wine selection was great, and the hospitality was awesome! It's absolutely delicious and the service is friendly! I highly recommend the tartare and pasta! It stays open late, so it's a great place to enjoy a leisurely dinner after sightseeing in Pisa!
