28/10/2025: Lovely restaurant which serves typical Tuscan dishes at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the owner was very welcoming. There were 6 of us and we shared a mixture of starters, which were really tasty. The pasta and meat dishes were excellent and portions were generous. There is a good range of wine available. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

21/10/2025: We had dinner here. The Acquacotta soup was a revelation. The crostini were also very delicious. My wife enjoyed the tagliatelle alla cingiale, while I enjoyed the coniglio. The service was very pleasant.

01/11/2025: Excellent place, the start of the dinner was perfect, a Fassona steak with egg yolk marinated in soy and perfect burrata, with the right balance of flavors and excellent quality, then moving on to a grill with a picania with a grilled flavor, tasty and cooked to perfection, a lamb cooked in the right way and the rest of the meat, it was no less perfect cooking and sublime quality of the meat, the delicate pasta is good if I have to find a flaw the only one was the parmesan wafer which had an almost plastic consistency and definitely too rigid and rubbery to the point of being difficult to eat, but completely negligible compared to the quality of the meat, a place definitely to stop, especially for the honest price

30/10/2025: We had a very good meal, and we were there with children who were treated especially well. Really good Italian cuisine, some dishes even a bit unusual. Everything looked great and tasted delicious. It wasn't exactly cheap, though. It was a bit cold in the restaurant. The service was exceptionally friendly.

07/09/2025: A secluded spot, accessible by car and with ample parking, delicious food, and a lovely view of the valley. The staff is also very friendly, though it's a shame there were flies fluttering all over our plates while we were eating.

The atmosphere is well-decorated, with light colors that convey a sense of tranquility but also a pleasant sense of family warmth. The combination of ambiance and the staff's hospitality is crowned by the dishes offered, which blend tradition with a touch of innovation. The end result is a pleasant and relaxing meal in every way. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: Welcoming place, attentive but in my opinion too slow service, all dishes good except the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, for which I had high expectations and which instead I found very anonymous.

08/10/2025: I don't quite understand the many top reviews. The spaghetti was overcooked, and the ragù (Bolognese) lacked vegetables for me – it tasted more like pulled pork with tomato sauce. The carbonara was also only average. On the plus side, the very friendly nonna and the fantastic view deserve special mention.

11/10/2025: We had an incredible dinner at La Falterona! The Florentine steak was absolutely amazing. It was hands down the best steak my husband and I have ever had. Prior to cooking the steak, they bring it out to the table for you to look at and then once it is cooked, they cut it in front of you at your table. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back next time we are in Florence. Highly recommend!

29/08/2025: Excellent experience from my point of view. Good food, decent portions. Good mussel soup with very good toasted bread. The risotto we ate was a little overcooked. Good linguine with clams. Good fried vegetables. Attentive and very friendly service. Small, non-air-conditioned space. Overall, recommended. Fun scratch-off initiative.
