This restaurant has a beautiful, typically Tuscan atmosphere. Roberto, the manager, is a delightful person, and Filippo, the waiter, is kind and charming.
The food is excellent and beautifully presented!
We absolutely loved the pici all'agliata, the rabbit roll (photo attached), and to finish, the torta papalina, which is simply delicious.
If you visit Pitigliano, stop here; you'll be as thrilled as we were!

Excellent Tuscan dinner, very friendly and approachable staff. We highly recommend the mixed crostini and pici all'agliata. If you go in season, we also recommend the artichoke side dish. If you want to leave feeling cheerful, a liter of house wine will do the trick.

Excellent food, very pleasant service. We went on a Saturday for lunch and tried several dishes: everything was very good, with both traditional and more unusual dishes. We tried everything from appetizers to dessert, and we loved it all! Although my favorite dish was the pistachio-crusted fillet steak with caramelized onions and jam...delicious! The only thing we understood is that you always need to reserve, and several days in advance, because it fills up quickly!

From the polenta with porcini mushrooms appetizer to the sliced steak with lard, to the fillet in a crust and the papal cake, everything was DELICIOUS!!! Including the very kind staff!!!! 5 stars!!!!!

This small trattoria in the center of Pitigliano is quite small, so you may have to wait unless you've reserved a table, but it's worth it. The only complaint is that the dishes, although very good, should be warmer. In fact, the vegetables in my first course were almost cold, as were the tagliata. The dessert was delicious; we ordered the torta papalina.
