18/08/2025: We visited the Pienzenau Restaurant in Merano on a balmy summer evening last week and were thrilled from the start. The stunning location, nestled between the vineyards and the old town of Merano, impressed us. The magnificent garden surrounding the property is a true gem and invites you to linger. Our seat on the terrace offered a wonderful view of the property and garden – a perfect setting for a special evening. The hostess and her team welcomed us warmly, immediately creating a familiar and homely atmosphere. Culinary delights left nothing to be desired: We enjoyed a fantastic three-course menu that will remain with us forever. The taste, quality, and presentation were of the highest standard. The team was also perfectly prepared for my gluten-free requests – without any prior notice. We would especially like to mention the young ladies in the waiting room – incredibly attentive, courteous, and always warm. All in all, it was an evening we will cherish for a long time to come. 16/11/2025: We were there last night, a welcoming place. The staff was extraordinary: they welcomed us impeccably and pampered us until the very end. Excellent selection of products and the highest quality. I asked the waitress a couple of questions about the type of olives used (since I love them on pizza) and she answered me excellently, with a variety of choices, clearing up any doubts I had. We will definitely be back.

And we were never disappointed: the staff were friendly and helpful; the food was excellent (we always chose seafood dishes and one night had pizza), generous portions, and the bread...made by them, served still warm, a true delight with their sauces. Breakfast was also always satisfying.
