31/08/2025: Reservations are absolutely essential, but definitely worth it. The service was attentive and friendly. The appetizer buffet was excellent, with a wide selection. We ordered balanzoni: delicious! The filling was substantial...not those tortelloni with more pastry than filling! They were served on a bed of delicious mixed cheese cream and white ragù. Definitely worth a try. For dessert, we ordered a super coffee cream, which actually had more mascarpone than coffee, delicious. At the end of the meal, they brought us cookies and liqueurs.

21/08/2025: I'm well enough in the business to know where NOT to go to avoid tourist traps, but since I'm not from Rome, I don't really know where the real gems are. A few years ago, a colleague told me: "Go to Girasole in Garbatella, trust me." So I dove in a bit blindly. And thank goodness: it was a revelation. For about fifteen euros, they served me a full menu: appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, wine, and coffee. And I'm not talking about small portions: the carbonara dish was the size of a weapon of mass destruction, the thinly sliced ​​potatoes tasted like crispy chips, and the meat, I don't remember exactly, was good and home-made. In the end, I left feeling shaky, I don't know if it was because of the included wine or the food. What I do know is that Il Girasole gave me the best value I can remember. Genuine staff, a warm welcome: more than a restaurant, it felt like dining at home. Since that day, every time I pass through Rome, Girasole is a fixed stop.

09/08/2025: During our trip to Veneto, we ate twice at this lovely family restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The small menu really shows the quality of the food they serve. On our second visit, we even came back just for the “cocollis,” which we’d definitely recommend. The owners run the place with a lot of passion and care, and their daughter works in the service. It feels very authentic and welcoming, a real gem in Conegliano.

24/04/2025: Discovered "Da Daniela" years ago for an excellent piadina, today it has grown both in structure and in the dishes offered. 15/03/2025: We moved to Cattolica just under a year ago. Yesterday, a friend of ours told us about this piadineria, and we decided to try it immediately today for lunch. The first thing I want to underline is the availability and kindness! I am allergic to nickel and I asked for the ingredients of the piadina dough, as I cannot eat many ingredients. Their dough is the classic one, with lard etc. However, I want to underline to those who, like me, have SNAS, that here you can choose to get the piadina with white flour, without yeast, water and olive oil. We with this allergy struggle to find places where we can eat normally, and here, it is suitable.. Thank you! We booked and took away, they were piping hot! When we arrived home we found some very, very large piadinas, but above all EXCELLENT! Ours were raw and stracchino and sausage and pecorino. Fabulous! We will definitely be back! From today we will no longer abandon you and we will recommend you to everyone!! This place is a little hidden gem! I can't eat normal sauce, with my allergy, but the smell that could be smelled from your kitchen, of good sauce, home-made sauce, was enough to faint... Very good!! Compliments!

23/07/2025: We stayed here with our dog! The interior is very welcoming, with the scent of herbal medicine enveloping you... There's a large garden with a pool, so everyone can sit wherever they like; the garden is truly spacious, ensuring tranquility and privacy! Dogs are welcome, with no restrictions. This is truly a great thing, as it means the dog doesn't have to be cooped up in the room while you enjoy the pool. In fact, in our case, he was able to stay with us, enjoying the cool air! The room was very nice and cozy, with a lovely bathroom. In the evening, we had dinner at the restaurant, which offers a traditional menu. I recommend the plin pasta, delicious! I loved the fresh flowers everywhere! The staff was also very nice... We'll definitely be back; this place is truly relaxing.

La locanda all interno è molto accogliente con questo profumo di erboristeria che ti avvolge …C è un ampio giardino con piscina, ognuno può mettersi dove più preferisce, il giardino è davvero spazioso da garantire tranquillità ed intimità! I cani sono i benvenuti nessuna restrizione per loro, questa è davvero un ottima cosa perché così il cane non deve stare chiuso in camera mentre ci si gode la piscina, infatti nel nostro caso ha potuto stare con noi godersi il fresco! Camera molto carina ed accogliente con un bagno molto bello; La sera abbiamo cenato al ristorante che offre un menù tipico, consiglio i plin BUONISSIMI! Ho amato i fiori freschi in ogni punto della struttura! Lo staff anche è stato molto carino …Torneremo sicuramente, in questo posto ci si rilassa davvero

02/09/2025: Koreans, do you know the server? It seems like a lot of people go there after reading reviews, but don't go. If you really want to go, call and ask if that server is still there. As soon as we got there, we were sent to a corner, not a nice space, whether intentionally or not. After that, two more groups of Asians came in. The server, who was a decent size and had blond hair, was extremely rude. She'd tap anything she put down on the table, and when she was clearing something away, she'd move it without saying a word. When I asked for a second chair because there was no place to put my bag, she clicked her tongue right in front of me. She also didn't even state my order or my requests, but she repeatedly walked away mid-sentence. I don't know if this is just how it is, but I ordered a steak, but I didn't ask how I wanted it, and it came out almost blue-rare, just cooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. I got angry and asked another server if they don't usually ask for it, and the blond server suddenly started slurring in Italian and aggressively told me to just ask if I wanted it cooked higher. After that, my expression turned sour, so he suddenly became friendly and offered me a free Coke while keeping an eye on me. When I was paying, the tip screen popped up on the POS, and I quickly pressed 0, which was hilarious. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I'm usually the type to let things slide, but this place really ruined my mood after paying a lot of money. There were quite a few reviews complaining about racism, but I regret not seeing that and leaving. I hope others don't regret it. I hope restaurants as a whole reflect on their behavior. The staff are friendly and the food is better than expected :) I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a steak, needing friendliness, and tired of foreign languages!!!
