09/05/2025: The only speciality roastery on the island so the hopes were BIG. I am a speciality roaster myself so my opinion is for those who are REALLY picky about the coffee. Plus for the team and attitude. The place was definitely under renovation but at least we managed to buy beans and use bathroom (thank you!) Yeah. The beans. First of all only Omni roast available. Secondly really underdeveloped roast with poor body and overwhelming accidity (or beans under speciality scoring). I know that Sicily sucks at coffee...bu overal experience was really poor as for specialty coffee. As for Sicilian coffee the experience was 10/10. Prices are 15/18 EUR per 250g

13/03/2025: Sergio recommends starting a journey of taste for those like me who have only known the classic, highly roasted Italian robusta coffee. And already after arriving at its 100% Arabica blend you understand that the commercial stuff is a waste of money. Here you will find coffees with an inebriating aroma and varied flavour, my next coffees to try will be Sergio's specialties.

12/12/2024: Emporium run by the lovely Lidia, who suggested and recommended various delicacies! Inside the emporium it is possible to buy cured meats, dairy products, taralli, sauces and many other things! We took the burrata home (Rome) and even after a couple of days we were able to enjoy the freshness of the products!!! Dear Lidia, we are waiting for you in Rome in our B&B 🤩 Matteo and Luciana

14/11/2024: High quality products, generous filling and great prices not to mention the really fast home delivery. Highly recommended also for the friendliness of the owners. I will definitely call them back 😋😋😋

29/08/2024: Ombrelloni troppo attaccati tra di loro e senza ganci per appendere, lettini con copritesta traballante, assenza di passerella per raggiungere il mare (bisogna fare slalom tra lettini altrui).

06/05/2025: Non faccio mai recensioni ma oggi devo dire che il pranzo presso il bagno Gabry, trovato per caso e uno dei pochi aperti, ha superato enormemente le aspettative... informale e tutto ottimo... complimenti.

02/11/2024: I give up. 7 euros for a take-away plate of pasta with sauce is too much, the cheapest. We are in Loiano....not in the center of Bologna or Florence. The sense of reason has been lost. Then someone ends up going to the coop, buying a tray and heating it at home. And once the strategy has been identified, he always does it... and if one goes to the supermarket... then he also buys bread, vegetables, ham... and the shops of an entire town run out. Being exorbitant beyond the limit doesn't pay.....a plate of tagliatelle is not a gourmet recipe......

27/09/2024: Excellent pastry chef. The lasagna and tortellini are very good. The deconstructed Ascoli style olives and both meat and courgette meatballs are superb. I love roast turkey with mortadella and omelette. Everyone is very kind

19/05/2025: Excellent pastry shop. I tried a large portion of their sweet offerings and they all convinced me. Highly recommended!

18/05/2025: Ieri nel tardo pomeriggio, dopo aver riaccompagnato a casa loro, nel paese vicino, nostro nipote e nostra nuora (nostro figlio era assente da Milano per un congresso), vista l'ora abbiamo deciso di fermarci tutti e quattro qui a cena. Come già scritto in precedenti recensioni il locale è di proprietà cinese e la cucina comprende sia quella italiana che quella orientale. Siamo rimasti sul versante italiano: per mia moglie un ricordo degli anni Ottanta, penne al salmone (che era salmone fresco, non affumicato), per mia nuora pesce spada alla griglia con verdure grigliate, per mio nipote pasta all'amatriciana e per me spaghetti alla carbonara. Porzioni abbondanti, piatti ben fatti. Successivamente siamo passati subito al dessert, servito al carrello. Ottimi anche i dolci. Servizio cortese e veloce. Compresi una birra media alla spina, due bibite in lattina e una minerale (in bottiglia, non microfiltrata) abbiamo speso 80 Euro! Torneremo ancora.

12/01/2025: Abbastanza buono il cibo e prezzi onesti ma...non sempre li applicano!!OCCHIO AL MENU'..la prima volta mi hanno applicato 3 euro in più per un risotto allo zafferano e alle mie rimostranze mi hanno restituito i 3 euro..la seconda mi hanno battuto gli involtini per tre porzioni anziché due e la cassiera me li ha ridati (secondo me solo perché mi ha riconosciuto),la terza un litro di vino frizzante pagato 10 euro al litro anziché 8(anche li'verificato dal menù)..due euro qua due euro la',si approfittano della distrazione delle persone..allora piuttosto alzate i prezzi e scrivetelo sul menù.. CONTROLLATE GLI SCONTRINI!!
