31/12/2024: Sono stato in questo forno a Bressanone e ho acquistato quattro bretzel da gustare a casa. Purtroppo, però, l’esperienza si è rivelata deludente. Una volta aperto il sacchetto, ho notato un odore particolare, che mi ha ricordato la salsa cocktail, quella rosa che si usa spesso per i gamberi. Già insospettito, ho assaggiato il primo bretzel e sono rimasto basito: il sapore era decisamente… di pesce! Anche la mia ragazza, che li ha provati con me, ha confermato questa impressione. Non riesco a spiegarmi come un prodotto da forno che dovrebbe essere salato e tradizionale possa avere un gusto così fuori luogo, a tratti nauseante. Non so se si tratti di un errore nella preparazione, ma sicuramente non è ciò che mi aspettavo. Unica nota positiva: la leggerezza dell’impasto.

29/12/2024: I bought a shortcrust pastry strudel at the Bressanone markets. Soft pastry and tasteless filling. A disappointment.
