02/05/2025: The ice cream is good, but the shop assistant who served us wasn't very kind and she should also know that there are people with celiac disease and maybe she should ask them before putting the wafer biscuit in the ice cream. It's a shame it's the only ice cream shop left in Verdello.

17/04/2024: Se in mensa mi avessero dato da mangiare così non avrei pagato.salame ( due fette normale, frittata di cipolla 10 gr. Immangiabile. Risotto scotto e senza sapore, ravioli così così, i secondi erano ridicoli due fette trasparenti di roastbeaf con patate. Il massimo sono stati i dolci, due fette di torta da supermercato. Il tutto per 40 euro

18/08/2024: I had saved this farmhouse among the places to visit and with the occasion of a trip with friends I called the day before to book a table. They replied that they didn't know if it was possible to book and that they would call me after a few hours. In the evening I called back but no one answered. The next day I called for the third time and, almost annoyed, they told me there was no room. I'm sorry but this behavior needs to be reported.

03/01/2024: Il locale "Papale Papale" è stato la scelta sbagliata per festeggiare il pranzo di Capodanno. Le aspettative erano buone (leggendo il menu pubblicizzato e le recensioni), ma purtroppo la realtà è stata ben al di sotto di quanto ci si potesse aspettare. Partiamo dagli antipasti freddi in particolare le crocchette di patate sembravano più adatte ad un pasto da mensa aziendale che ad un pranzo di inizio anno. I tre veli di capocollo sono stati rovinati dalla burratina artigianale che le ha bagnate e, considerando la stagione non propizia, le tre cozze gratinate erano totalmente assenti. Questo inizio deludente ha immediatamente destato preoccupazioni nel nostro palato I primi piatti e tutto il resto del menu non sono riusciti a risollevare la situazione anzi, l’hanno completamente aggravata. Il riso servito era praticamente immangiabile, con un sapore del tutto disgustoso. I medaglioni di carne di maialino, anche questi freddi e con un sapore che non siamo riusciti a definire. La frittura di calamari e gamberi a centro tavola, possiamo dire che è stata, leggermente "accettabile" anche se cruda. Il prezzo di 40 euro pagato per questo pranzo nonostante la gentilezza del personale, sebbene apprezzata, non può compensare la mancanza totale di qualità in ogni portata. Non so se in situazioni non festive, il ristorante "Papale Papale" possa garantire un'esperienza culinaria diversa. Tuttavia, basandoci sulla deludente e completamente esperienza negativa del pranzo di Capodanno, è certo che non considereremo di tornare in questo locale. È stato davvero un pranzo di Capodanno completamente da dimenticare, un vero peccato!
