14/06/2026: Beautiful view of Kastelruth from the outside. Rustic and cozy inside. Excellent Kaiserschmarrn. Good schnitzel. Like almost everywhere in Kastelruth, the prices are borderline high.

14/06/2026: Delicious food in a beautiful meadow. We ordered the dumplings and goulash,herb gnocchi and they were both fabulous. By far the best food in town. They offered a complimentary salad which was fresh. We also ordered the strudel for dessert and it was heavenly.

18/05/2026: We've eaten at Kirchsteiger several times. The pizzas are delicious and the value for money is excellent. We haven't been disappointed yet. The service is also very fast.

02/06/2026: Simple, you sit down, order right away, and eat in 5 minutes. The burgers are amazing, the chef is always friendly and helpful, the prices are incredibly affordable, and the service is always fast. If you want, you can always have a beer on the table without even asking. Recommended.

07/04/2026: A very large and beautiful restaurant. We arrived just after opening and there were plenty of seats, but within half an hour almost everything was taken. The atmosphere was very pleasant, as was the service. The pizza and lasagna were delicious, and the tiramisu was beyond praise.

07/04/2026: We (two people) arrived without a reservation and were easily seated. We started with fish soup, which came with an extra plate so we could share. The soup was generously sized and would have easily been enough for one person as a main course. Our main course was gnocchi with asparagus and linguine alla scoglio. I've rarely had better food at the seaside. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was cozy. We'd gladly return.

06/03/2026: The price is high considering that it is unserved and you carry the food yourself on a tray. Tiramisu looks tempting, unfortunately when cut it was a huge disappointment in the form of whipped air (thin and tasteless). Other dishes are good.

01/03/2026: We were here between 14.45 and 15.00 and practicaly nobody was here! Amaizing food, no too expensive, tree meal with big water cost us 40€ which is kinda nice. I recomend maccheroni con fermmagio, it was delicious.

03/06/2026: A very nice hotel. This family-run establishment has a fantastic location – with a bus stop right outside. The staff – all family members and employees – are very courteous, attentive, and friendly. The food is excellent. A large breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The five-course dinner is superb! We are currently enjoying our vacation and will definitely be back!

19/05/2026: Most terrible experience ever! I booked in months advance, hidden costs and policies were communicated only after check-in. So we threw out double the price than any other nearby hotel for nothing. Now they don’t answer my emails for months and do t even bother to update their infos. Never again.

18/05/2026: We've been coming to the Hotel Citta for many years. Unfortunately, we have to say that it has declined significantly recently. In March, we reported a leaking water pipe in the bathroom, with puddles of water in front of the sink. Nothing was done about it. Now we were there with friends, and the hairdryer was broken—it was replaced with another broken one. Doesn't anyone check things before replacing them?! During the night, hotel guests were partying in their rooms and left their trash outside (pizza boxes with leftovers and other garbage). At 10:00 a.m., the mess was still there, even though cleaning staff had already been there. Are they all just fed up and incapable of doing their jobs? Even worse, and it's almost unbearable, are the pigeons outside the outdoor dining area. The bored staff just watches as the pigeons knock everything over on the uncleared tables, and six to eight pigeons even knock over glasses and dishes. The staff sees this and doesn't really react, and if you say anything, they just shrug. The other bars and cafes manage it. They clear away quickly and leave nothing behind. We always enjoyed coming here and are now unsure whether we'll book at the Citta again.

18/04/2026: A truly pleasant, family-run, and newly managed restaurant, where you'll feel a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to put you at ease. The food is delicious, carefully prepared, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for enjoying a peaceful lunch, dinner, or even just a drink. A place you'll want to return to!

09/06/2026: We always love visiting Restaurant Schloss Thurnstein during our holidays. Beautiful ambiance! Fantastic view of Merano. The food is outstanding! You can tell that the dishes are prepared with great care. We highly recommend the veal Wiener Schnitzel, the coleslaw is a must-try, and the Kaiserschmarrn deserves a full 10 points! The staff is very attentive and always friendly. Cash and card payments are accepted. Table reservations are recommended! We wish all the staff continued success!

31/05/2026: Beautiful hotel, love the pool and spa setup. Booked 2 nights for $830. They told me breakfast was included before payment, then pulled a “oh actually no” after. Not cool. Room was spacious and looked amazing. First night slept great, second night AC not working,probably the chiller got turned off. Was a rough night. Missing little things too like tissue box in room and shampoo in bathroom. Only good thing: staff was really good.
