10/03/2025: We had a 5-course menu and really liked it. The place is in an antique style, very welcoming and the tables remain quite isolated from each other. Friendly and polite staff. Lots of choice of local wines and more. You can choose between 3 different menus (typical/meat and fish/fish).

04/03/2025: Restaurant Finsterwirt is a stylish establishment with a wonderful atmosphere. The food was excellent, the service fast and attentive, the prices correspond to the level of the restaurant.

29/12/2024: I have to say, everything here is just perfect. The hospitality when checking into the hotel, as well as the very spacious, clean rooms. We stayed four nights. The dinner is sensational. @matthiasleimer cooks like a young god. The turbot with lemon risotto was a delight. The staff was super friendly. Truly an outstanding host, highly recommended.

20/02/2025: I don't understand if so many reviews are bought or put there by relatives and friends, let's start with the positive things, the Stefano staff, the two Sardinians whose names escape me, the excellent girl, without them I wouldn't have given the 5 stars, excellent cuisine, with a few errors, but excellent, let's move on to the negative things, a hotel that has gone through the years with lots of junk of all kinds, the large room with a bed that apparently costs a fortune, but I slept very bad, after the first night I woke up with back pain and pain all over, the second night I made my wife sleep on my side and the next day she also got up with back pain, I talked about it with the owner, telling him the situation, but he reiterated that the beds are the flagship of his hotel, ok but I sleep badly, can we put some boards under the topper? He reluctantly agrees, having arranged the bed with some tables, I slept a little better, we get to the SPA...🤣 those who comment praise the spa have never seen a real SPA, point 1 old, outdated over the years, the sauna is very small with a maximum capacity of 3 people, infrared cabin, old, a Dampf sauna which is also small, a shower that blocks the drain 🕳️ and fills with water, another shower cubicle never seen in my entire life so senseless, then not to mention the fruit that is put in a tray 3 apples for the duration of the days until they run out they don't put them back, a SPA should have many types of fruit, there is no basket to put the rest of the apple in 🍎, I have never entered the swimming pool because it made me feel dirty, here is the truth about the fantastic SPA, an old town, which gives no emotion, and no possibility of activity. What I find excessive is that they charge 25 euros for a mini sized dog, but now from the Dolomites I'm not too surprised, at the end of the holidays at the reception no one apologized for what happened, having slept badly, a sorry or a discount would have been the minimum, however none of the owners showed up. One thing is for sure we will never return.

27/03/2025: There is also a great restaurant for the perfect camper pitch. We ate here and enjoyed a very tasty meal at very reasonable prices. The service was spot on, super friendly and attentive.

25/03/2025: I have already ordered pizza home twice. Unfortunately, I have to say that this works very, very poorly. Firstly, both times the pizza was delivered half an hour late than promised, secondly it was expressly stated, e.g. little mozzarella, etc. This was not taken into account and thirdly, the pizza was completely eaten and really not enjoyable. It's a shame, I won't order again.

19/10/2024: Fantastische Küche, wunderbare Weine, sehr zuvorkommende und herzliche Bedienung, wunderschönes Ambiente. Das Ansitz Romani ist eine einzigartige Perle, die wir immer wieder gerne besuchen, und wir sind jedes Mal gleich begeistert. Das Menu surprise ist absolut empfehlenswert!

20/01/2025: We would like to warmly thank the saleswoman who was kind enough to let us taste a delicious raisin roll because we did not understand the meaning of the word raisin in German and/or Italian. We came back today and were pleasantly served by another saleswoman whom we thank for her calm and patience. The raisin rolls were gone so we split with an equally delicious olive roll! We will keep excellent memories of this bakery and its pleasant saleswomen.

04/12/2024: The location of the restaurant is really impressive - you have a beautiful view of the valley floor and can enjoy the view. As soon as you enter you are warmly greeted by the boss, with a personal handshake and a few friendly words. You immediately feel welcome and are assigned a nice table. The menu is small but fine, with a selection of regional products and a wide range of wines. The boss takes the time to explain the dishes in detail and also recommends the right wine - a wonderful addition, especially since the restaurant has its own winery with first-class wines. The starter was excellent: light, perfectly seasoned and, in combination with the side dishes, not only a visual but also a culinary delight. The main course, especially the meat, was subtly seasoned and harmonious. Finally, I couldn't resist and tried the homemade plum ice cream with a delicious chocolate cake - a real highlight! I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

21/12/2024: The external structure is adequate for the typical nature of this enchanting area of ​​the country. Internally it is modern and functional. From the room reserved for us, we imagine that all are equally spacious, clean, practical and comfortable. The staff is very welcoming. We were guests of this beautiful hotel for just one night, because we were passing through, and we used the restaurant for dinner, lazy from the long journey that brought us here. As we liked the first courses, we tasted two different ones, choosing a third after being favorably impressed by the first two. I tell you: three first STRE-PI-TO-SI!😱 Beyond the hotel, which is still recommended, if you find yourself passing through these parts or staying in nearby hotels, don't miss this cuisine. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

21/03/2025: A tour with fantastic views and a very cozy mountain hut, with very good home-made food. You can go from the Auronzohütte (arrival by bus from Dobbiaco) or from the Fischleintal (6-7 hours up and down). The panorama is second to none. The paths are easy to walk on and not dangerous (as long as they are free of ice).
