14/05/2026: We ate there this evening and were absolutely delighted! The food was truly outstanding – everything fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. We left the restaurant happy and with smiles on our faces. The service was also excellent: very friendly, attentive, and warm. We will definitely be back!

03/05/2026: We ate dinner here twice within five days. The cuisine was excellent, perfectly seasoned, and seasonally inspired. The wines were perfectly paired and of high quality. You can really feel the passion and dedication the host has for his restaurant. The service staff was equally attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

29/03/2026: A beautiful mountain refuge. Characterful and attentive to the smallest details. Very friendly and smiling staff. The meat from the open grill and the delicious gnocchi are especially worth it. I recommend it.

28/03/2026: A mountain hut for foreigners who ski, attracted by its location on the slopes... it offers subpar cuisine compared to the setting and the many mountain huts found in Val Gardena. I ordered beetroot dumplings in gorgonzola sauce... DISGUSTING! The dumplings were dry and rubbery, and the sauce, laced with too much cream (not gorgonzola at all), made the dish cloying. The owner asked me why I'd left such a large portion, and when I explained... like a good, arrogant Val Gardena local, she replied, "It's good, I've eaten it many times." Kudos for taking the (ironic) feedback into account!

09/05/2026: We've been coming here for many years for the incredibly good chicken and pork knuckles. Unfortunately, we've been very disappointed the last two years. Dry and soggy skin. What a shame. That's it, then. I've heard the same from other people.

17/05/2026: Greetings! A visit to Restaurant Figl always feels like coming home, or at least it feels that way. You're always greeted with a smile, the food is delicious, and there's plenty of local wine available – often already in my glass just thinking about it. It's worth it year after year. 03/06/2026: One of the tastiest places I've eaten, A clean and pleasant place and highly recommended. We ordered the chef's starter which included a variety of dishes on a wooden platter. Each one was more delicious than the other. Mainly Angus beef (fillet) and another dish that was a real feast of flavors. For dessert we ordered a special panna cotta

We tried the tagliata and the bistecca alla fiorentina—honestly, the best steak I’ve had in the Dolomites. The hospitality is wonderful, and the service is great. Their wine, beer, and Aperol Spritz are also top-notch

22/03/2026: Terrible management and customer service: I do not recommend it. We recently stayed for 6 days at this hotel in Corvara and, unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Although the rooms are fine, the service and the staff's attitude completely ruined the stay. The worst: The owner and staff's behavior **Lack of manners:** The owner is a rude person who doesn't know how to treat customers. We asked for tap water, they said okay, and then he forbade it. The restaurant staff followed the same pattern; they scolded us for absurd reasons on several occasions. **Uncomfortable surveillance:** During breakfast and dinner, the waiters constantly watch you to see what you take from the buffet, creating a very tense and unpleasant atmosphere. Very poor food **Breakfast:** They don't replenish the food as it runs out, apparently with the intention of encouraging guests to consume as little as possible. Also, the coffee is water. **Dinner:** The quality is very mediocre. On our last day, they served entrecote and it was awful; another day they served us pork instead of beef, which is unacceptable. Conclusion: It's a shame that a hotel in such a beautiful location fails at the most basic things: hospitality and food quality. I don't recommend this hotel for staying in Corvara.

18/04/2026: Champagne was on the menu, but it wasn't served today. 🤔 Who wants to pour two glasses? White wine was brought to the table at room temperature, actually warm. 🫣 The steak was excellent. The salad had no dressing. 😩 The service was abysmal. Seriously. I think that was our last time here. It's not worth the hassle.
