24/07/2026: Delicious food in a beautiful setting under the Sciliar mountain. The risotto was a favorite. Great for special occasions, this was the highlight of our trip.

11/07/2026: On the last evening of a wonderful week, two friends and I dined here. Everything was impeccable: the food was exquisitely cooked and perfectly presented. The wine was also excellent, pairing the dishes beautifully, and the ginger digestif served to round out the meal. The price is commensurate with the quality of the food and the number of courses. Bottled water was perhaps a little expensive, but why not drink the tap water—it's delicious? Well done!

01/07/2026: This year too, I visited Mike, the owner of Mar Dolomit: a wonderful welcome, attentive and very polite staff, and delicious dishes: canederli, potato gnocchi, Storo polenta, and melted cheese and porcini mushrooms. Excellent price. A sure thing in Ortisei, see you next time.

01/07/2026: My friends and I came to Mar Dolomit and discovered some exceptional speck dumplings. Soft, tasty, and authentic: the best we've tasted in Ortisei. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service friendly. We'll definitely be back!

16/03/2026: We had the pleasure of spending a week with you. The rooms are very comfortable and the spa is simply wonderful. The breakfast buffet is incredibly varied and delicious. We would have liked better coffee, and an afternoon snack would have been great. The location is superb. We felt very comfortable as a family. The playroom could be a bit more inviting. Thank you for the wonderful time at your hotel and the amazing memories we'll take home with us ❤️

15/03/2026: Our host Sophia and her family gave us a warm welcome; they were very friendly and extremely accommodating! The spa area, pool, and rooms were spotlessly clean and beautiful. The food was delicious and prepared with great care! Overall, our stay was a highlight and simply wonderful!

24/06/2026: This pizza is the absolute best in town, the prices of this place are very reasonable for how good of a pizza it is, the crust is thin, the sauce keeps bringing you back, the toppings are fresh, everything about this pizza is like candy it’s so freaking addictive. So if you’re in town stop by here and get yourself a good pizza after you play some tennis or just come for dinner.

14/06/2026: This place is a hidden gem that provides great food and views!!! We had lunch here. The Knödel was so delicious, although the soup was a little bit too salty to my palate. The schlutzkrapfen was decent as well. We also had chocolate dumplings as desserts; they were fantastic. The vibe was extremely chill, and the stuff super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!!!

01/07/2026: We are SO happy we stumbled across this place during our stay in Ortisei, it was a bright spot for us! One of the BEST meals we have had in Europe!! And we have been around! This is NOT a tourist trap, this is a very high quality and well worth a visit of a restaurant. The service was great. We came the first night and didn’t have reservations and the chef himself (who seems to be very involved outside of the kitchen) Got us a table and hosted us so well! We are very well taken care of by Emiliano and Ricardo, they were a dynamic duo outside! We asked Ricardo to recommend what we should get, we got everything he suggested and it was 10/10! He really helped us pick some of the best food we have had abroad! Emiliano was very kind and an extremely hard worker, you can see the quality of both of their work! We LOVED the Habanero steak, Deer entree was AMAZING and not gamey at ALL. We got their veal ravioli and their special (beef ravioli) and it was some of the best pasta we have had over our 4 stays in Italy!! We would HIGHLY recommend! We loved it so much. We went back again for dinner before leaving town!

29/06/2026: We visited this Michelin Recommended restaurant with high expectations. The food and desserts were good, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing due to the service and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. After leading us into the restaurant, the staff abruptly told us to stop at the waiting area without any greeting, explanation, or courtesy. It felt more like being given an order than being welcomed as guests. The staff also never reconfirmed our order, which resulted in the wrong glass of wine being served and one of our main dishes being delivered incorrectly. These mistakes could have been easily avoided with a simple confirmation. What disappointed us most was the attitude of the staff. They were rude, dismissive, and came across as arrogant. Rather than apologizing or handling the situation professionally, they made us feel like an inconvenience. The dining environment was also less enjoyable than expected. The table was quite small for the number of dishes being served, leaving very little space, and the seating was uncomfortable for a full-course meal. The food itself was enjoyable, but good cuisine alone cannot make up for poor hospitality and an uncomfortable dining experience. For a Michelin Recommended restaurant, I expected much higher service standards. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend it based on this experience.

17/07/2026: We were at the hut on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere was breathtaking and the menu was world-class. Absolutely recommended if the Seiser Alm cable car is open until 11:00 PM in the summer when the weather is good. It's then about a 15-20 minute walk to the hut. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

14/07/2026: A mountain hut where you can take a short break while hiking the Alpe di Siusi trekking course. The coffee didn't leave a huge impression, but the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful.

The atmosphere is warm and meticulously crafted, with a refined Alpine style that instantly makes you feel at ease. The cuisine is simply extraordinary: each dish is a perfect balance of local flavors and innovation. The ingredients are of the highest quality, and the care taken in preparation and presentation is evident. From the first course to dessert, every bite is a surprising and captivating experience. The service lives up to the setting: professional, attentive, and never intrusive. The staff offers expert advice, helping to make dinner even more enjoyable. It's now a regular stop when we come to the valley.

17/04/2026: We really enjoyed our last dinner here. We had the black Angus beef entrecote (perfectly cooked and had a lovely spiced pumpkin hummus and chorizo sauce which complemented the meat well) and the spaghetti alla chitarra (SO good). I'm not a huge dessert fan but my friends got some and they were too beautiful to eat but were tasty too. The service was great too.

27/03/2026: The welcome you receive at the Schgaguler Hotel makes you feel immediately at home, part of a big family. The kindness, discretion, and absolute professionalism of the staff make the experience unique. We were attracted by the hotel's aesthetics on our first visit, but we'll gladly return for the people. In particularly, Brian was a truly lovely host, and really made the stay special. Would definitely recommend this hut to anyone.

29/05/2026: Great restaurant with delicious homemade food! There were lots of locals and local workers eating there when we visited, which is always a good sign. The only downside was that the ravioli portion could have been a bit more generous, as it felt quite small. However, the lasagna was excellent.

15/06/2026: The food was below average and overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. We definitely do not recommend it. There are many much better restaurants nearby- save your money and eat elsewhere.

08/07/2026: Absolutely incredible experience all around. The atmosphere was warm, quiet and intimate. The staff was superb, friendly and passionate about their work. Sommelier, Egon, was sensational. Our entire party of 6 decided to do the wine pairings and it was one of the best parts of our experience. Egon was so knowledgeable, personable, passionate, and truly a privilege to hear share all of his experiences and insights on the wines. I am typically a non-wine or alcohol drinker but this experience truly changed the way I view wine pairing with food. The food was unbelievable. Each dish presented so elegantly, prepared to perfection and absolutely delicious. We had the 6 course meal and everything from the starters to the final desserts were spot on. Chef Reimund Brunner is incredible. Highly recommend! We had the best time and is a highlight of our time in Ortisei.

01/06/2026: We booked this in advance in January as a large group of friends and had an unforgettable dinner experience. We’ve been to Ortisei and the restaurant before when it was in the Gardena hotel, but for us this was a brand new location for Anna Stuben and the new restaurant with its modern alpine design is magnificent. We were shown to a large dining room all to ourselves as a large group with a set menu printed and ready. The staff was attentive and explained everything in detail. Dining here is an experience in itself. The food was pure art. The combination of flavors always a surprise and we loved the anticipation of wondering what would come next and how it would be presented. The best for me was the pani puri kimchi amuse bouche and the raspberry crumble was to die for. I highly recommend this as a treat if you are ever in the Dolomites. Thank you to the staff and chefs.
