24/02/2026: For me, Turmwirt is always a must whenever I come to the mountains for my yearly week away. It’s one of those places that never disappoints — a true classic. The setting is beautiful, full of charm and history, with an authentic atmosphere that really makes you feel you’re in South Tyrol. You can sense the tradition in every detail. The cuisine is genuinely alpine, with a menu deeply rooted in local South Tyrolean products and high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the care in both the selection of ingredients and the preparation. The dumplings (canederli) are always excellent, and I highly recommend the braised beef cheek — incredibly tender and full of flavor. A beautiful place, welcoming and above all delicious. It’s always a pleasure to come back.

Housed in a 17th-century inn, right beside the castle, the place feels almost enchanted — full of charm, history, and whispered legends. There is something truly magical about dining in a setting that has witnessed centuries of life. The atmosphere is fairytale-like, especially knowing that the historic residence is still cherished by a family . The cuisine is pure South Tyrolean tradition at its finest. The canederli are a must — perfectly balanced and deeply authentic. The homemade tagliatelle are equally excellent. If you are lucky enough to find venison on the menu, don’t hesitate — it is outstanding. What makes Turwirt even more special is that it has been run by the same family for five generations. You can feel the continuity, the care, and the genuine hospitality in every detail. A timeless place where tradition, warmth, and atmosphere come together beautifully

21/04/2026: We ate here twice in four days. They were closed the other two days ☺️. They have delicious pizzas and salads. With very friendly and helpful staff, we easily got two plates with our dishes to share. This is a real winner.

09/04/2026: A beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff. The rooms are wonderfully furnished. I would particularly recommend the river view; the view of the alley is rather cramped and dark. A beautiful building and delicious food. Mediterranean flair in the beer garden – pure holiday feeling!

The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional, ready to accommodate every need with a smile. The breakfast was plentiful and high-quality, with fresh, carefully selected ingredients. The hotel's location is ideal, convenient for getting around, and perfect for enjoying a relaxing stay. An experience that exceeded our expectations: we'll definitely be back and recommend it without hesitation!

19/03/2026: Nice location, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The pizzas aren't the best, and the sandwiches aren't the best. The real problem is the service: rushed, hectic, and rude. The dessert menu is lacking. Prices are average.

19/02/2026: We stayed in the hotel's annex during the Olympics weekend, immersed in this beautiful mountain village. Fair prices for the time of year. Abundant and varied breakfast.

19/02/2026: I loved everything! Everyone was super friendly. Gorgeous views, a little serpentine road, and you're among the clouds. The staff is very responsive, the rooms are spacious. I recommend it!

02/01/2026: A very cute and quaint place. I really appreciated that when we booked, the staff made sure to reserve a table for us even though the place was almost full. The food was relatively good, nothing exceptional, and the menu was rather limited. Unfortunately, the evening wasn't up to par. When we entered the restaurant, we waited at least 10 minutes without the staff seating us, and there were long waits to order dinner. Many people in the room next to our table had to leave to ask the waiters to take their orders. When the appetizer arrived, the cutlery hadn't yet been brought to the table. There weren't even any condiments like oil, salt, or vinegar at the table. Very disorganized service; I totally understand busy nights, but truly disorganization is at the root of the service. Prices are higher than average, and when we paid, we weren't even given a receipt. In good faith, I hope it was printed and kept by the restaurant. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.
