16/02/2026: We returned after about two years and couldn't help but appreciate once again the hospitality and the mastery in preparing the dishes created with passion by the whole family, especially thanks to Philip, who delighted us with his fantastic Speck. This time we even stayed for two nights and also appreciated the clean, new, and welcoming rooms. We were looking for a restaurant to have dinner for my birthday, and after searching online, my wife was drawn to this agriturismo. It was an excellent choice; as soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly staff in a welcoming atmosphere. They produce everything themselves, and the dishes are exceptional, an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with truly well-made Speck and Pancetta. The wine was also very good; we chose the house red, the full-bodied one. We're not big wine drinkers, but it was so good we bought 3 liters to take home. I'm very sensitive to sulfites in wine, which usually give me a headache the next day. This time, however, I woke up without a headache. Verena, who served us, was friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back.

It boasts a cozy, almost magical atmosphere, perfect for relaxing, laughing, and simply enjoying yourself. It's the ideal spot to wind down the evening and have fun together. A significant part of this special experience is also the owners' two sons, Alexander and Thomas. They each bring their own unique charm: attentive, friendly, and always up for a bit of fun. You can immediately tell that they are passionate about what they do and want to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. The friendliness throughout the entire hotel is truly exceptional – here, you don't feel like a guest, but rather like part of the family. In conclusion: The Hotel Alpenrose is a place you'll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended.

Even upon arrival in St. Leonhard, you're captivated by the phenomenal view over the Brixen Valley. But the real highlight is the family itself. Eugen, Theresia, Barbara, and Martina radiate a warmth that's rare these days. You immediately feel welcome and right at home. The old walls breathe history, and the rooms are so lovingly and cozily furnished that you simply don't want to get up. And the food? Absolutely divine! Every dish – from the perfect Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) to the sweet Krapfen (doughnuts) – tastes of genuine tradition, handcrafted quality, and a whole lot of love. Here, they don't just cook; they serve up the South Tyrolean way of life. Many thanks to the entire Messner family for unforgettable visits and your wonderful hospitality. You make the Aichnerhof truly special! We are already counting down the days until our next visit with our South Tyrolean friends during the Pentecost holidays in 2026.

16/10/2025: The best pizzeria in Brixen! My absolute favorite is the pizza burrata – simply perfect. Beautiful location, ideal for couples or families. Very child- and dog-friendly, you feel completely welcome. We love coming back!

15/10/2025: Me and my friends were on our way from Italy to Innsbruck. We got there at night for dinner, and the atmosphere was awesome. We ate inside, and the building looked super old but was really well kept, giving off a cool vibe. We ordered a bunch of different pizzas, and everything was amazing. For drinks, we got a cappuccino and a hot chocolate, both of which were delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was just okay. I'd totally come back here again to chill with my friends and enjoy the cozy vibes, especially for some beers when I'm around.

26/09/2025: This visit was my first exposure to the crazy prices of South Tyrol, so it wasn't particularly positive at first. However, since I subsequently found it to be consistent with other establishments, I don't feel like penalizing it further, as the experience was still positive. A nice place, found in the morning full of workers having breakfast. The girls were kind, smiling, and efficient. Good coffee.
