A very nice hotel. This family-run establishment has a fantastic location – with a bus stop right outside. The staff – all family members and employees – are very courteous, attentive, and friendly. The food is excellent. A large breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The five-course dinner is superb! We are currently enjoying our vacation and will definitely be back!

A Vacation in Paradise – Pure Relaxation at Hotel Sonnenheim We were fortunate enough to spend ten wonderful days at Hotel Sonnenheim – and it was simply heavenly! Rooms: Our room was very spacious, modernly furnished, and featured a huge balcony with a beautiful view. The rain shower in the bathroom was a real highlight, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – perfect for relaxing after an active day. Spa Area: The spa area is impressively large and diverse. Several saunas, a steam room, and a high-quality relaxation room invite you to linger. Small snacks and drinks are also available – you can truly unwind here. Massage: The Plank family clearly places great value on quality and expertise – you notice it immediately. The massages were excellent and performed very professionally. We felt completely pampered. Thank you for this wonderful experience! Food & Service: The food was an absolute delight! Every evening, a variety of high-quality dishes were served – accompanied by select wines. The attentive and warm service, both at the bar and in the restaurant, deserves special mention. Requests were always handled promptly and courteously. It's clear that the staff works with passion to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. In conclusion: A truly wonderful vacation! Hotel Sonnenheim is perfectly located in Hafling – ideal for hiking and cycling. We highly recommend this hotel and would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Plank family. A dream stay in the South Tyrolean mountains. This hotel reflects the Plank family's desire to make their guests feel at home, offering all the essential amenities for a completely relaxing holiday. My wife and I chose half-board, and we were more than satisfied with the service at both breakfast and dinner, from the food to the courtesy of the staff. The ensuite bathroom is modern and spacious. The pool and spa offer a pleasant mountain view. The hotel is strategically located for Merano 2000 and numerous hiking trails suitable for families and athletes.

There's no other description than paradise on earth 😉 We were so happy to be guests of the family-run Hotel Sonnenheim for the second time now, and we were simply blown away. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and lovingly furnished. There's a huge sauna and relaxation area, a hotel-owned underground parking garage with truly spacious parking spaces, an indoor pool, and a small gym. The staff consists of a small and select team, characterized by their truly exceptional service. Even members of the Plank family (the family that runs the hotel) help out, which is simply fascinating. You can also taste the love that goes into the entire hotel in the food. Breakfast features a large buffet with fresh rolls from the bakery. Dinner consists of an impressive five courses, each one a true delight. It must also be said that the hotel is perfectly located. Due to its slightly exposed position, it enjoys plenty of sunshine. Furthermore, there is a bus stop just 100 meters away, with a line that goes directly to the center of Merano in 20 minutes. The surrounding forests and mountains (Texel Group, Ilfing) also offer excellent hiking opportunities. The Merano 2000 ski area is also very close. In addition, the hotel's value for money is unbeatable and probably unmatched. We would love to come back and look forward to spending more time in one of the most beautiful places imaginable.

A truly wonderful hotel where we've now spent our second family vacation. It's in a fantastic location for the Merano 2000 hiking area, with a bus stop right outside. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful, and there's a superb spa area with saunas, a steam room, a swimming pool, and more. You can really relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning views. The only downside: there are rarely, if ever, vegetarian or vegan options available at dinner. While they always catered to our dietary needs, which is great, I would have appreciated being able to choose them in advance. Nevertheless, it's simply a lovely place and definitely recommended!

Great hotel in a quiet location. The rooms are large and newly furnished. The bathroom is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Everything at the breakfast buffet is clearly labeled. In the evening, there's a wide selection of salads and an antipasti buffet. We'd gladly come back.
