01/03/2026: The perfect place to dine with a beautiful view of the amazing mountains.

25/01/2026: Prato Piazza is a beautiful place for cross-country skiing and ski touring. I have a disability rating of over 85%, and like the Dolomiti Superski, I thought there was a disabled rate. I asked the Prato Piazza refuge if this rate was applicable, and the response I received was that disabled people don't ski, so there isn't a special rate. As a Paralympic athlete who also competed in the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics with cross-country skiing, the response I received seemed inappropriate and out of context, especially now that we're hosting the Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

12/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Berghotel Jochgrimm. The food was excellent, the spa area lovely, and you can go skiing, hiking, and cross-country skiing right from the hotel. We'd love to come back again 😊

09/03/2026: A fantastic active holiday, perfectly complemented by the team at the mountain hotel. Everything was just right, from the cleanliness to the food and service. Important: You have to enjoy being remote from the nearest towns and villages. Otherwise, this isn't the place for you! A return visit is guaranteed.

28/12/2025: My sister and I were staying in Selva for one night and booked this hotel the week before for an incredibly low price for what it offered (certainly due to the low season: €117). The rooms are clean, comfortable, and warm, and ours had a balcony with a beautiful view. There's a pool area with loungers, accessible free of charge to guests, as well as a wellness area offering self-service tea and other beverages, a steam bath, sauna, and shower. We booked a table for dinner and ordered dumplings in broth, ravioli, a glass of wine, a glass of water, and dessert for €61, a very reasonable price for the food and service, especially the staff who served us, who were very kind and helpful. Breakfast is included and offers a buffet and an à la carte menu with many options. One small tip: pay attention to the bill. We had two minor misunderstandings (a drink being double-counted and a moment of confusion regarding the room payment, which had already been processed), likely due to simple oversights and resolved without issue. Recommended :)

31/12/2025: Impeccable family management, kind and professional. The lady is truly kind. The property has beautiful rooms, a small, well-equipped wellness center, and the cuisine is very well-prepared, with excellent dishes. You feel at home. I've been there in the winter, but I think it's even better in the summer, thanks to a beautiful garden with a pool. After staying there for two years, I think I can safely say that the excellent value for money will bring me back often.

08/03/2026: A typical atmosphere, very welcoming and warm, making you feel right at home. Perfect for couples or groups. The food is very good and high-quality; the strudel is the best in the area, in my opinion. The staff is always kind and welcoming.

17/03/2026: We've been guests at the Schwarzer Adler countless times since 2009 and have never had a single negative experience. The food is always perfect and delicious, the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy both inside and out, and when you're served by Georg himself, everything is just right 😊

30/10/2025: Restaurant review: We stopped at the Adler on our way from Merano to Appiano. We hadn't made a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. Lovely dining room, very good and friendly service. The food was excellent. The Linzer torte for dessert was divine.

22/02/2026: During our week-long vacation, we had the pleasure of dining and having breakfast several times at Ansitz Heufler. We were greeted with great kindness by the entire staff, especially Berry, who accompanied us with professionalism and great attention. The recommended dishes and wines are particularly worthwhile. The Renaissance stube (traditional parlors) are a true highlight and are worth a visit in and of themselves. The ambiance is enchanting and makes for a unique culinary experience. 22/02/2026: We had dinners at the Ansitz Heufler in Antholz-Anterselva. The location is wonderful! Food is excellent and can be enjoyed in a very relaxed environment. The little bar is very cozy and the staff knows how to mix drinks :). Staff is very attentive and kind. We were taken care of by Bernardino, who has a fab sense of humor and serves the guests with a great smile. We can only recommend to visit the Ansitz Heufler and I will definitively be back, when I return for the Biathlon World Cup next year. Happy days! PS: cannot judge the rooms, as we were staying in a different hotel. But on the website the rooms look very nice!

20/02/2026: We were pleased to get a table for dinner during a busy time in the valley (Olympics) but that was the good thing. We had two very bland turkey schnitzels that were basically just a salty chicken nugget. Decent fries. Staff were alarmingly efficient - it felt like a rushed cafeteria. Maybe we made a bad food choice - the pizzas looked decent.

19/02/2026: A very large pizzeria spread over two levels. As a result, it was quite crowded. However, we got a good table downstairs. Overall, the food was good and tasty, except for the onion roast beef, which wasn't what we expected. It was a very thick piece of meat, cooked pink, similar to a steak. We discussed this with the owner afterward. The service was pleasant and friendly, and the food arrived very quickly, even though the pizzeria was packed.

04/03/2026: The food and atmosphere are very good. The service is a disaster. You can only order from the owner, which means you can wait an hour before you're even allowed to order. Then you have to wait another hour or so for the food.

31/01/2026: A small, charming traditional cabin. The menu isn't very varied. Unfortunately, the dishes are very limited, even though what we ate was good. Prices are sky-high. A shame.

06/03/2026: We stumbled upon this pizzeria-restaurant quite by chance while traveling in our campervan. A particularly convenient feature: there's even a small parking area for campervans right next to the restaurant. Since it's located directly on the road, it's perfect for a spontaneous stop while passing through. Even upon entering, the decor with its many plants immediately catches the eye. Everything has a slightly older feel, but that's precisely what creates an incredibly cozy atmosphere – almost like eating at your grandmother's house. You immediately feel at ease. We'd especially like to commend the owner. She gave us a very warm welcome and was present throughout our visit. You can immediately tell that genuine personal contact with the guests is still valued here – something that's sadly rare these days. Her warm personality truly made the visit special. The pizza was excellent, with a dough that was half whole wheat and half classic – absolutely delicious. Everything you could wish for was provided at the table: balsamic vinegar, chili oil, olive oil, salt, pepper, and even really good oregano. The pizzas arrived quickly, and overall it was a very pleasant stop. If you're passing through and want to enjoy a good pizza in a cozy, family-run atmosphere, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!
