18/11/2025: Waalrast is always our first stop when we arrive in Lana for our beloved South Tyrol holidays. I've known this restaurant since 2006, and even as a little boy, I was captivated by the stunning view. The food is very traditional and delicious. You can also enjoy Waalrast as a rest stop after admiring the adjacent Brandis Waalweg trail with its beautiful location and breathtaking views. It's simply a must-visit on every one of our South Tyrol holidays, and a visit always brings back wonderful memories. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

16/11/2025: The hospitality, welcoming atmosphere, and nature experience that the Kuen family and their entire team create is truly unparalleled. Perfectly equipped rooms with an absolutely comfortable ambiance. Two!! juicers (orange and fruit/vegetable), homemade spreads, fresh strawberries from the Martell Valley, and fantastic crepes for breakfast. Great hiking tips from the owner herself. A soothing hot stone massage from Elisabeth (thank you so much!). Wonderful companions at dinner (thank you for the excellent wine recommendations!). What could be better?! Oh, and yoga with Barbara at 8 a.m. The best way to start the day! I absolutely have to mention that! A big thank you to the kitchen staff as well! Wow! We were in heaven! And a big thank you to all the other members of the team who made our vacation so relaxing and perfect! And Sebastian – thank you for being so accommodating with the rebooking! We would never have been here without you! You are all truly amazing!

13/11/2025: Fantastic cuisine, excellent dishes, and a wide selection, including vegetarian options. Great, friendly, and efficient service. The staff and the host family are incredibly friendly. Keep in mind, the season ends in just three days, and they're delivering such a fantastic experience! 👍👍👍👍👍

05/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wonderful lunch at Bad Turmbach! We had lunch at Bad Turmbach and were completely delighted. Very friendly, attentive service and top-quality cuisine. The steak tartare and venison ragout tagliatelle were excellent, followed by the Turmbach trout and, for my wife, the braised beef cheek – both perfectly prepared and delicious. A wonderful place to enjoy – we'll definitely be back!

27/09/2025: We had dinner at the Bad Turmbach restaurant twice, and what can I say... it was fantastic! Excellent service – wine list and advice = first-rate! The dishes were freshly prepared and delicious! And for dessert, the Zirmer cake – I'm lost for words: Outstanding!!!!! We'll be back on our next trip to South Tyrol!!! Great, great, great!!!

19/09/2025: A great place to stop for a bite to eat in Schlinig! (Not only the alpine pasture is recommended...) Must-try: farmer's toast (Vinschgerl panini topped with bacon, onions, tomatoes, and cheese) as well as the lovely selection of homemade cakes, tarts, and South Tyrolean apple strudel. Cozy terrace and lovely dining room.

26/11/2025: The food is absolutely delicious! I've been in Italy for four days and I just feel like I've eaten. The place is small and ordinary, but clean and the dishes are delicious.

01/10/2025: Beautiful view over Naturno The farmer's omelette was quite good (it's a hearty pancake). The Kaiserschmarrn wasn't a hit. It was also a regular pancake, so to speak. No beaten egg whites were folded in to make it nice and fluffy. Raisins were also missing, in our opinion.

14/11/2025: The campsite I had originally planned was closed the day before, so I found this place on a whim thanks to the owner's recommendation. The parking lot was spacious, making it a great place to stay overnight with a camper. There's no camping fee, but if you order one meal at the restaurant, you can use the parking lot for free. There's no electricity or showers, but I was running out of places to go late at night, so the friendly staff made it possible for me to stay for the night. I'm not very good at pizza, so it was just average, but the beer was really good. More than anything, the staff always greeted me with a smile. I definitely want to visit again.

29/10/2025: We ate here while passing through. The selection and taste of the pizzas are amazing. The owners are super friendly and the entire restaurant is very well-maintained. We'll definitely be back.

28/11/2025: Found this place by chance, with a typical South Tyrolean atmosphere, tables without tablecloths, friendly and helpful service, and obviously traditional but unique dishes, which are very good. Reservations are recommended. I luckily found a table. Prices are average, and there is no street parking.

15/10/2025: We were really looking forward to eating here. Years ago, we had a delicious meal here. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed on October 15, 2025, with no mention of it on their website, Google, or Facebook. There was a sign outside stating they were closed. Disappointing, as we had driven half an hour to get there.

07/10/2025: The reception was very friendly, and even without a reservation, we managed to get a table for four people. (You have to be lucky sometimes.) The food (pizza) was super delicious and more than enough. Great hospitality and genuine hospitality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely be back. All the best and many satisfied guests.

12/12/2025: I stayed at this hotel and it exceeded all my expectations. Beautiful location, welcoming and elegant while retaining its traditional features, yet modern. Beautiful rooms, spacious and welcoming, with attention to every detail. A full breakfast catered to every need, with authentic products. Friendly and attentive staff. The spa is available with a fantastic heated outdoor pool. I highly recommend it.
