30/03/2024: A pearl in the Rio di Pusteria. I had dinner in this place with my family and I immediately felt at ease. Mountain style place with wooden furnishings but very modern and well-kept. Excellent welcome and friendly and precise service. We tasted both the pizzas (perfectly cooked and very seasoned) and a typical dish, all excellent. There are details that are never predictable and leave their mark and give this place an edge. First of all, attention to the customer: for a small mix-up such as an out-of-stock dish, they apologized and offered the dessert to my son (great!). Second, the truly relaxing and lovely atmosphere. We were just passing through Innsbruck but the whole family insisted on having dinner on the return journey too... super!

22/02/2024: Great spot! A small but excellent menu, prepared with love and very tasty. I think this couple runs the business together and that means that it sometimes takes a little longer during peak hours. I am also pro cash payments, but I think it would be difficult for some people, hence the 4 stars (which I will make 5 anyway). because it's just great) even the fact that there is no WiFi actually makes it 6 stars, everyone back to basics.
I can't sit still and take some empty glasses to the bar while waiting, look around and enjoy the moment, but I can imagine that there are people who (during rush hour and lunch) be less forgiving and compassionate.
But if you want to go to a wonderfully authentic spot and have the time to enjoy the view, then it is definitely recommended.
The atmosphere is loving and the people who come there are also nice, it is busy during lunch but we were always allowed to sit at a table somewhere and everyone just appreciates that they can relax in this little paradise.
You can sit in the sun on the terrace while the skiers and snowboarders pass by.
21/02/2024: Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food. The hut was full in the afternoon, the landlord was stressed and we gave up after 30 minutes and left again.

The lady walked away in the middle of ordering to do the dishes.
They gave wrong order.
Apple juice tastes like water.
You have to wait more than 45 minutes to order. (The person in the photo is the person who served us). Nice view of the ski slope.

27/01/2024: Ottima la loro pentola Jocktal, pasta con pomodoro , funghi, pancetta, e pepe, davvero buona , siciramente la consiglio. Buoni anche i caneserli al formaggio, con burro fuso e parmigiano, birra alla spina ok.Prezzi nella media.
03/01/2024: Die Mühle in Vals ist ein tolles Restaurant. Das Essen ist lecker, die Preise ortsüblich und das Personal nett. Zu den Stoßzeiten ist es allerdings meist sehr voll. Mittags durch Skifahrer und Abends durch Urlauber, da in den letzten Jahren viele Unterkünfte ihr Abendessen-Angebot eingestellt haben.

31/07/2023: Torniamo ogni anno in questa Malga. Il cibo è ottimo, porzioni soddisfacenti, prezzi buoni e meno cari rispetto ad altre realtà vicine. Con noi sempre gentili e anche stavolta hanno chiesto se tutto era buono: certamente… peccato non poterci tornare più volte. Maranza è bellissima e bisogna girare tutti i sentieri.
21/07/2023: Hütte tra la stazione a monte e quella intermedia della cabinovia Gitschberg. Cibo buono e prezzi nella media. Noi abbiamo mangiato la zuppa di gulasch , speck uova e patate e i ravioli ripieni fatti in casa, tutto buono.
Bellissimo il panorama.
Cordialità da migliorare, qualche sorriso in più non guasterebbe, a volte sembra che gli dai fastidio, se accettate il suggerimento migliorate questo aspetto, per il resto tutto bene.

03/09/2023: Baita facile da raggiungere, subito sotto la fermata della funivia. Ci sono stato sia d'inverno che d'estate e devo dire che la sostanza non cambia. Personale cortese e professionale, cibo molto buono e panorama mozzafiato. Consigliatissimo!

19/08/2023: Siamo stati in questo ristorante dopo una lunga passeggiata (che potete anche evitare prendendo il servizio shuttle), l'accoglienza è stata gradevole e anche il cibo.
Il personale è gentile
19/07/2023: Sono stata in questo ristorante per un aperitivo dopo la camminata per arrivare alla malga fane. Ho assaggiato uno spritz speciale con succo di mela e rosmarino di cui mi sono innamorata!

23/10/2023: Meraviglioso per l'apertura ancora a fine ottobre! Situato in posizione incantevole, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di stare all'aperto col sole. Il piatto del giorno tortelli con ragù di cinghiale, è buono ma abbiamo trovato la pasta troppo grossa e un po' troppo al dente. L'aperitivo della baita davvero molto buono!!

09/01/2024: Ci siamo fermati a mangiare una goulash suppe davvero buona. Spero di tornare a breve. Questa malga ha al suo interno diverse sale una più carina dell'altra. C'è anche una sala di recente costruzione che ha uno stile un po' più moderno ma comunque molto calda ed accogliente.
06/09/2023: Appena usciti dal bosco che dal parcheggio di altafossa porta alla passeggiata in valle, si trova questo bel rifugio.
Siamo stati loro ospiti diverse volte nel corso degli anni, assaggiando un po' di tutto.
E' sempre pieno di gente, quindi la cortesia tipica viene un po' meno, sono abbastanza sbrigativi perché sempre assediati.
Infatti è il rifugio più gettonato, trovandosi in posizione favorevole.
Molto buoni i canederli, i dolci, i salumi ed i formaggi. Prezzi in linea con gli altri rifugi.

19/08/2023: Dopo una bella camminata dal parcheggio Altfasstall siamo stati rapiti dal profumino della carne alla griglia. Abbiamo trovato posto velocemente e abbiamo mangiato un ottima grigliata accompagnata da insalata di patate, sono rimasta un po’ delusa dai canederli . Ottima e abbondante la sacher. Personale gentile e sorridente . Il giardino è particolare, pieno di gnomi e con tanti bei giochi in legno per i bimbi, amache e sdraio. Spettacolare la vista.
15/08/2023: Bel posto ma personale scortese e maleducato!!! Consiglio la malga appena più avanti molto più tranquilla e tutti molto gentili!!!
