13/03/2026: Beers,Magyar goulash and scene was wonderful. Great place to give a break after a performance riding.
19/02/2026: The "true summit" of the Stelvio Pass, a few precious meters away from the hustle and bustle of the main pass road. This short detour is rewarded with relative peace and an unbeatable view of the famous serpentine road on the northern side. Practically the perfect spot for a break before heading down into the valley.

08/04/2026: This was our second stay, and we'll be back in 2027. Excellent breakfast, fully automatic coffee machine, and super friendly service. Dinner in the restaurant was great! 👍🏻 The ski bus/bus stop is right outside. Dogs are welcome.
07/04/2026: We spent our first Easter week at Nives and it lacked nothing. Amazing breakfast, great dinner, perfect atmosphere, and a super friendly and helpful team led by Matthias! We'll be back!

31/08/2025: Lovely trail here, a bit steep overall but quite nice, really breathtaking view on mountains here, from here you can get to different places, the food looked good but I wasn’t hungry. Would recommend:D

01/04/2026: I haven't experienced such good service in a long time. A waiter came by every few minutes to ask if we needed anything else. The beer arrived immediately after we ordered it. The food was delicious too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
I'd definitely come back.

07/12/2025: 1. Rooms - Very basic but clean.
2. Restaurant - Food very good.
3. Service - It would have been 5 stars if not for the waiter, probably of Indian origin, who confused us by bringing us a menu with restaurant dishes (additionally paid) even though we had already purchased meals. The language barrier prevented us from communicating fluently. He was also pushy and made us feel uncomfortable.
Fortunately, the reception staff helped and even printed out the menu in Polish (thank you for that, it's a nice gesture).
I should add that if the menu was in multiple languages, we Poles are also in Europe and the European Union, so that should be standard practice.
12/10/2025: We were here for hiking, so we stayed for several nights.
The following are particularly positive:
- The owner and her service staff
- Restaurant quality
- Location and view
The rooms are simple but fine.
The sauna is small and a bit dated.
Many guests only stay for one night.

03/07/2026: Extremely unfriendly staff! I requested a postponement well in advance and received no response for days. When I finally called, I was aggressively confronted, asked what I wanted and how dare I call at 11:20 pm. After all, it's a hotel; one would expect a reception desk. I immediately canceled my booking after this phone call. I don't want to spend my vacation in such a place.
29/06/2026: The apartment is beautiful, clean, spacious, and bright. The location is perfect. The hostess is helpful, welcoming, and extremely kind. Highly recommended!

21/09/2024: Inizialmente il servizio è parso un po' strano, pochi sorrisi e difficoltà a capire e parlare l'italiano. Prezzi medio alti. Abbiamo preso due primi davvero abbondanti e buoni. Consiglio le Perle di Solda (5 canederli di gusti diversi con salsa al formaggio a parte ): buonissimi. In sintesi abbiamo mangiato bene, i costi visti le porzioni erano corretti. Il servito ci ha lasciati meno soddisfatti.
09/08/2024: Ho cenato in questo ristorante per diversi giorni durante la settimana. Ho preso anche pizze da asporto. Servizio ottimo, buona gentilezza del personale (tranne una signora sempre imbronciata, ma innocua), cibo molto buono, il migliore assaggiato a solda…
Come in tutto l’Alto Adige frequentato da tedeschi, alcuni sono dei cafoni ignoranti e maleducati di prima categoria, ne è un esempio un “haza” seduto da solo al tavolo che più volte ci ha guardato con disprezzo e poi si siede a fumare 50 sigarette fuori e bere come un catino…
mi sento di dare 5 stelle anche perché purtroppo non li puoi cacciare certi individui…

24/08/2024: Purtroppo posso solo sconsigliare la visita, le cameriere sono molto maleducate ed irrispettose nei confronti dei clienti, in particolare mi riferisco ad una ragazza bionda ed un'altra mora che erano al servizio. Non solo quando ho cercato di fare una domanda si sono girate dall' altra parte, ma poi servono in maniera scocciata, ridendo degli Italiani in lingua tedesca. La mancanza di rispetto nei confronti del cliente è in primis una mancanza di rispetto nei confronti del proprio datore di lavoro (a meno che sia un atteggiamento poco etico condiviso dall' alto..).
In merito al cibo, ho trovato i piatti mediocri, alcuni erano chiaramente scongelati..
Bella la vista, ma sconsiglio di fermarsi a mangiare, specialmente se Italiani.
