28/03/2024: There are few places today that combine elegance, high quality and class of cuisine with a homely atmosphere. You can find something like that in Mumant. Such loving and courteous service paired with cuisine that combines elegance, sophistication and quality while remaining true to its roots. The starters are cleverly combined, alongside classics, there are always unexpected twists that take classic dishes like venison tartare to a higher level. The main courses are of a very high standard and the proportions are almost oversized. The desserts are sophisticated and cleverly designed - everyone will find something, whether a light sorbet or the classic chocolate course in the form of a cigar, leaving nothing to be desired. The wine list is small but perfectly coordinated with the menu cards. The kitchen is always willing to do something different upon request or, for example, to organize a fish course if ordered in advance (e.g. branzino in a salt crust). Overall, the Mumant leaves nothing to be desired. Classics of South Tyrolean cuisine meet international class here in an upscale manner. A visit during your stay in Alta Badia is definitely worth it. A restaurant for special occasions that certainly leaves nothing to be desired. The price-performance ratio is excellent given the quality and service!!

09/03/2024: Super Essen genossen, Lammkarree und Kalbstomahawk, als Nachspeise Eis. Prosecco und ein guter Tropfen Weißburgunder sowie ein Blaufränkischer aus Eppan rundeten das Erlebnis ab. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!

06/03/2024: Courtesy, simplicity and authentic familiarity make this hotel the perfect representation of the Dolomite environment. There is no shortage of attention and friendliness of the splendid Tavella family who make guests feel part of the history of the ancient building. Neat and clean environments. Excellent cuisine. Punctual and professionally qualified service. The connection with the slopes is very interesting. Coming back in the summer is a promise.

06/03/2024: I ordered spaghetti al ragu di carne. But then penne came with the meat sauce we ordered. For what reason? There is a difference whether I eat spaghetti or penne. It was still good, but not anymore. Although there was a huge crowd, the restaurant closed at 2:30 p.m. It's incomprehensible to me and I've never experienced it in a ski area. Who can afford it. Update from March 6th, 2024: Nobody ever mentioned that there was no more spaghetti.

26/03/2024: We went there at least three times in one week of skiing and always felt comfortable. The pizza is good, but the spaghetti carbonara is a hit, you have to try it. Unfortunately, the prices are just as they are. After all, all the clutter has to be moved up there and the many employees have to be paid. Overall a great restaurant, would be happy to come back.
