02/04/2024: A great place for ski touring. We spent 3 nights here in March. Most of all I have to praise the food. Every morning there was a delicious savory and sweet breakfast. Perfect for long trips. In the evening there was a multi-course dinner, salad bar and dessert. Very nice service, you can pay by card, the prices are nice but the signal is almost nonexistent. And Mr. Cat is the boss. The only thing we had a problem with was not enough space to dry our clothes. You can probably avoid that if you visit this place outside the weekend.

15/03/2024: Very nice hut. Shower in the room. Food very good with the possibility of second helpings. Very friendly staff and top host. Unfortunately the weather was bad, but we just have to come back for that.

22/02/2024: Wonderful hotel! A particular note of merit goes to the entire staff who proved to be welcoming, friendly and professional. Services included in the half board are truly rich and pleasant (spa with sauna and fabulous relaxation area with mountain views, high-level restaurant). Super-equipped hotel, furnished with care and taste, excellent location near the cross-country ski run. Exceptional holiday, thank you for everything! :)

20/02/2024: We had the pleasure of trying something from the “Bäckerei Schuster” from Latsch/South Titrol. The unusually light “Schüttelbrot” is really extremely tasty.

04/04/2024: Based on previous reviews, we expected good food, but please don't let comments fool you. The food was indeed below avarage. Not even close in taste to actual Italian cousin despite the country. This is very much your avarage road side, pit-stop type of buffet. The food was under-seasoned and lacking flavour. We had Spaghetti Bolognese and Curry with Rice. Both meals were disappointing. Ps. Pizza is only served Friday to Sunday!!!!

02/04/2024: Always a fixed point on my journey to South Tyrol and back. Self-service is uncomplicated and if you have to wait for something that is freshly prepared (my wait has never been long), you can pay and have the food brought to your table. Always delicious and usually something seasonal (depending on the season with porcini mushrooms, chestnuts, asparagus...). The service is always very friendly and helpful! The new large shop is also nice where you can take a few souvenirs with you. I always like to come!

24/03/2024: Delicious pizza of the day (Remo qualified for national awards): white asparagus with ham and Bolzanina sauce. The meat dish is excellent: Ryb eye (loin) with green and white asparagus, new potatoes, champignons and cherry tomatoes. The spaghetti with seafood was good and plentiful and to finish, an excellent strudel with cream, strawberries and ice cream.

06/04/2024: Very cheeky landlord, accuses his guests of dirtying the toilet even though it was already dirty beforehand.

12/03/2024: I highly recommend trying this pastry shop. Normal prices, but with a quality above the average for the area. Unfortunately we only discovered it on the morning of departure, but we left a little less sad.

07/04/2024: Title: Ambivalent experience in the Gerda inn My visit to Gasthaus Gerda was a mixture of ups and downs. Although the landlord seemed a bit grumpy, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly landlady Gerda, which left a positive impression. The rice pudding I ordered was quite well prepared and a pleasant treat. The consistency was creamy and it had a pleasant taste that met my expectations. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the excellent tartare. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and the spices were perfectly balanced. It was definitely a dish I would recommend to anyone. Overall, my visit to Gasthaus Gerda was a mixed experience. Although the grumpy landlord dampened the mood a little, the friendly landlady Gerda and the delicious food became a bright spot.

03/04/2024: Every year it is tradition for us to visit the Pizzeria Pila in Burgeis. In addition to the very good pizza, what should be highlighted is the service. The service worker Ewald, who has been working there for decades, is an absolute man of honor. The visit is particularly fun for football fans, as Ewald is a big fan of FC Bayern Munich and, in addition to his customer service skills, also shines with football expertise. Therefore, for us, the pizzeria is an absolute cultural asset and always worth a stay.
