21/02/2024: We have been to this beautiful hotel for the third time and have had a great time. You can go on beautiful snowshoe hikes directly from the hotel. What should be highlighted is the excellent food, the great view and the cozy and spacious wellness area, which leaves nothing to be desired. Swimming in the pool was also very relaxing (although only in the morning when there were no children there).

07/02/2024: Located at the end of the road with a large car park from where various walks develop... Friendly staff... We have never eaten, only had two excellent quality desserts with tea.. Recommended.. Always better to book. Now we have also eaten.. First beautiful walk around the woods.. Then sit in the beautiful wooden stube. Fast service. Dishes for all palates...excellent. Friendly staff. A special mention for the bathrooms.. Really very nice and clean.. nothing was missing. Super recommended

03/10/2023: At around 1050m altitude with a fantastic view, you can have a good time. Beautiful, modern, well-kept rooms - legga dinner. A highly recommended stopover on the way to Sardinia!

18/02/2024: Beautiful place, 20 minutes from the Oclini pass, a bit downhill which then obviously becomes uphill but we did it easily with a 6 year old child, we had an aperitif and ate very well, we will definitely be back..

24/02/2024: Very bad experience. I ask for a can of coke and am told that there are only glass bottles. It's not a problem, I ask to be able to take it out so that the other person who was on cross-country skis can drink it too and I am told no harshly. I take my phone out to pay with Apple Pay and am told that paying with my phone doesn't work. Luckily I also had a debit card, the cashier, obviously, understood that she had screwed herself with that excuse and replied dryly that she only accepts cash otherwise nothing. I would have gotten over it if they hadn't been extremely rude. It's a shame because it's in a strategic position overlooking the cross-country skiing track.

03/01/2024: Di norma non scrivo recensioni… per pigrizia e perché ho seguito le inchieste di report sulle recensioni truccate dei siti… di recensioni.
Mi sento in dovere di recensire con il massimo dei voti questo ristorante perché credo sia penalizzato dal luogo un po’ fuori dalle località di richiamo della zona. Abbiamo cenato scegliendo alla carta piatti di pesce. Tutto strepitoso e preparato con cura e ricerca. Carta dei vini assolutamente all’altezza. Cortesia e servizio che non hanno nulla da invidiare ai ristoranti rinomati / stellati tenuto conto dell’esiguità del personale (1 cuoco + 1 fratello e mamma ai tavoli). Prezzi adeguati alle materie prime e alla maestria nella preparazione. Se siete in zona…. o dovete farvi qualche decina di minuti per raggiungerlo….non perdete questa occasione..

For us, the Ploner restaurant is THE culinary jewel in the South Tyrolean mountains. A small family business in the best sense of the word that achieves great things. With Richard in the kitchen, with his brother Walter and his mother Maria in the service. Three hosts - a brilliant performance that combines all South Tyrolean virtues and puts the guest at the center.
Hidden away at an altitude of 1200 meters, something very special is created. For example, a 7-course “Classic” tasting menu that brings the largely undestroyed nature of the mountains and meadows through which you can hike underground onto your plate. Original, genuine, intense. At the same time refined, artfully and contemporary. With wild Asparagus, fennel, porcini mushrooms, chanterelles and cranberries straight from the forest. With old vegetables and grains, herbs, flowers and berries from the local bed. Uncompromising freshness, best quality, unadulterated, dense taste. Honesty, authenticity, regionality, paired with Traditional craftsmanship in preparation determines the dishes. No chic, no illusion. Nothing that distracts, doesn't really belong on the plate. Almost puristic in appearance - on the one hand. Yet refined, innovative, imaginative, contemporary implementation. Lavish - on the other hand. Tradition meets modernity The guest is taken by the hand in a friendly manner and guided through the varied, diverse culinary landscape, in small stages, 7 courses long. Stunning. Every dish is a revelation that leaves you wanting more. For example porcini mushroom sausage with pickled porcini mushrooms, bread cream with lost egg and summer truffle, venison nut with celery puree, taglierini with chanterelles and venison ragout.
But you can also have it more cosmopolitan. With an 8-course fish menu that doesn't fit into the ambience of a South Tyrolean mountain village. But it belongs here because Richard likes it that way. Appreciate the wealth of nature where it comes from streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. Sea bream, John Dory fillet, amberjack, turbot, wild salmon, sturgeon, trout, char. Same concept: unconditional quality, outstanding craftsmanship, passion for the soul of the products, sincerity, without annoying frills. Just not unconditionally local. But with exquisite champagnes on the menu - and always the right wine in the cellar that the curious guest can recommend. In Aldein. In the south of South Tyrol. At 1200 meters altitude. In a mountain village. Simply casual, cool and confident! Because the Ploner’s can – and because they like it that way. What a statement!?
At the same time, it says a lot about the Ploner family. He grew up in alpine farming at a time when the work there was not primarily focused on feeding tourists. You lived on what nature had in store for you. And you made the best of it. Then excessive efforts to broaden one's own horizons and to experience the world of culinary art. Driven by a strong passion. At the end, the acquired knowledge is imparted in bread baking and cooking courses for chefs and restaurateurs in the region. We never lost respect for nature with its products and the guests with their wishes. Open, down-to-earth, honest, approachable and humble. Unconditionally committed to the quality of their dishes.
After six years of regular visits, our conclusion is: we have never been treated more personally.

28/09/2023: Sembra di stare in mezzo ad un cantiere visto i lavori che stanno facendo inoltre il personale corre a destra e a sinistra ma conclude poco tanto che diverse volte sbagliano e bisogna chiamarli per avere un minimo di attenzione. Il cibo è buono e le porzioni abbondanti ma lo strauben e’ troppo unto e poco cotto !! Prezzi nella media

26/11/2023: L'edificio prometteva bene e fuori quale richiamo un cartello grande con la scritta salsiccia di casa con crauti con canderli (si badi il plurale): € 14.20, prezzo non certo a buon mercato per una salsiccia, che in una buona macelleria altoatesina costa al massimo 2 €.
Quando è arrivata la titolare e quando ho voluto ordinare il piatto di cui sopra mi ha offerto anche quello con aggiunta di carne salmistrata a € 16.80.
Per l'esigua differenza di poco più di 2 € ho accettato la proposta della titolare.
E arrivato un piatto con all' interno un mozzicone di salsiccia forse 1/3 di una luganega intera (molto meno di meta'salciccia), una porzione media di crauti, 4 fette sottili di carne salmistrata, di cui una piena di ossa e grasso ), una mini bustina di senape come al fast food ed 1 (uno canederlo nonostante il plurale usato sul cartello.
Il mozzicone di salsiccia era buono, ma scarsissimo, neppure metà salsiccia (tipo luganega). I crauti erano la cosa migliore. Il canederlo l'ho assaggiato e lasciato. La carne salmistrata mediocre, ma l'appetito ha compensato ed ho finito le 4 fettine.
Quando ho chiesto il conto, la sig.ra mi ha chiesto, se fosse andato tutto bene. Ho detto che mi attendevo almeno una salsiccia intera e dei buoni canederli mentre avevo ricevuto 1/3 di salsiccia ed 1 (uno) canederlo. Ha avuto il coraggio di dire: "questo era un schlachtteller e si riceve di tutto un po". Ho detto che in tutti i buschenshank che si rispettino e nei quali ero stato (abito al Renon in Alto Adige) per un prezzo simile Ti portano di che saziarti e non un mini assaggio di salciccia ed 1 canederlo dalla consistenza e sapore mediocre. Da non tornarci per quanto mi riguarda.
Forse sono stato sfortunato viste le altre buone recensioni.

Personale gentilissimo e cibo molto genuino in una location unica.
In attesa del pranzo abbiamo ordinato un ottimo prosecco !
A pranzo anche oggi abbiamo mangiato uno strudel di verdure per antipasto e una costata di vitello con verdure grigliate buonissima e un Kaiserschmarrn per dolce!
Ringraziamo sempre la gentilezza e professionalità delle cameriere!

13/09/2023: Quelle belle découverte pour terminer nos 2 jours à Aldino! Nous avons mangé ici le dernier soir (nous dormions pas loin), dans le jardin à l'arrière. Très belle terrasse, repas délicieux (tagliatta di manzo et pâtes pour les enfants), personnel super aimable!! Si nous devions passer par la région, nous ferions le détour pour venir manger ici. Merci pour ce merveilleux moment. Je recommande!
