22/03/2026: A stunning hotel nestled in the Dolomites. We stayed in a junior suite. The rooms have been modernized while maintaining the typical mountain style, tastefully furnished and very cozy. I believe the spa is among the most beautiful I've ever found in a hotel. It's fully equipped and designed specifically to make everyone feel at ease and provide a space for privacy and relaxation. Separating the children's area from the adults' area is a feature I personally greatly appreciated. Not to mention Cristina, the massage therapist who pampered and treated us, a delightful and professional person. Dinner was always impeccable, breakfast was varied, and the food was generally excellent, authentic yet delicious. The overall atmosphere is truly that of a mountain chalet, very authentic yet sophisticated, and the price, considering the overall offering, is excellent. The staff was always friendly and attentive. It would be a pleasure to visit in the summer as well, but we'll definitely be back next year for the ski season.

12/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Berghotel Jochgrimm. The food was excellent, the spa area lovely, and you can go skiing, hiking, and cross-country skiing right from the hotel. We'd love to come back again 😊

08/02/2026: Alm, an hour's walk from Truden. It looks newly built. Very nice. Prices are a bit high compared to the surrounding area.

03/01/2026: 5 Stars - An Unforgettable New Year's Eve at the Schmiederalm! Dear Schmiederalm Family, we would like to thank you for the unforgettable stay! Our 5 nights in room number 1 were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the bed and balcony was simply breathtaking! The mountains at sunset – magical! Breakfast was a highlight every morning. A generous platter of cold cuts and cheeses on every table, a large bread basket, and fresh eggs made to order. Dinner in the traditional dining room was superb and cozy. The Strauben (a type of Austrian fried pastry) was another highlight! But the best thing was the incredibly friendly hosts! Even Grandpa helped out. And of course, we mustn't forget the super cuddly cat! The Schmiederalm's location is perfect for hikers and skiers. We were in fantastic ski resorts within half an hour and were also able to enjoy wonderful hikes. We highly recommend the Schmiederalm and will definitely come back again in the summer! 05/11/2025: On the fourth day of my Italian trip, I was struggling with Italian food, so I stopped by for takeout dinner. The service was warm, and I ordered the recommended pizza and waited. There were quite a few takeout customers, and it felt like a famous local restaurant. I returned to my room and had some wine and a meal, and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn't that the Italian food was bad, but rather that the restaurants I'd previously tried were the problem. It was a night of relief. Thank you. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to the Dolomites👍

12/10/2025: A superb guesthouse in an excellent location for hiking or motorcycling. Fantastic views of the mountains from the balcony or bedroom. Very quiet at night, with no light pollution. The dinner is fantastic, with three courses. You'll receive hiking and motorbike tour suggestions, as well as the history of the Koflhof. You feel like part of the family. We'd love to come back.

22/09/2025: We were able to spend a night with our camper van with the lovely family at the Koflhof. The Koflhof offers a wonderful atmosphere with lively animals, a lovingly tended garden, and beautiful pitches. The highlight was the three-course dinner – prepared with lots of love and experience :-) We felt very comfortable!

22/10/2025: We stopped by Ploner for a rest after a hike and were rewarded with a magnificent meal and excellent service—what a gem! The bread basket with colorful homemade baguette was phenomenal, and the tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms and venison ragout was the best of our vacation. We thank our hosts and wish them continued success 🍷PS The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired.

23/02/2026: For those descending from the Oclini to the wonderful snow-covered pastures beneath the Corno Bianco, we recommend a stop at this magnificent mountain hut. We enjoyed some delicious, beautifully prepared dishes. It's true, you might end up eating the same things around here, but here they do it really well. The boiled meat and speck with potatoes and eggs were excellent (and the eggs here are truly different!!!!). Then a very simple dish of cabbage with speck, but the flavor was delicious. We'll definitely be back, especially since the walk from the Oclini is accessible to everyone and the location is truly beautiful. Recommended!!!
