07/03/2025: We just had lunch at this place which exceeded our expectations. The gluten free cuisine was simply fantastic, with dishes prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients, proving that gluten free cuisine can be just as delicious and varied. But what made the experience even more memorable was the courtesy of the owners. They were extremely welcoming and helpful, ready to recommend dishes and satisfy our every need. Their passion for cooking and attention to the customer could be felt at every moment. Furthermore, the prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the food and service offered. It is rare to find a place that combines quality, courtesy and reasonable prices so well. I highly recommend visiting this place, especially if you are looking for great gluten free cuisine!

17/02/2025: I only had breakfast in this small place right behind the Merano spa. A few minutes from the center. The place is very clean, the owners welcome you with a smile and are very kind, here I ate a gluten-free strudel, homemade, amazing, honestly worthy of the envy of those with gluten. The first day it wasn't there, I asked and the next morning he let me find it... fantastic ♥️. I recommend it. And the entire menu can be requested gluten-free!!

01/04/2025: We were only here at the campsite for one night and really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. It tasted great and was particularly beautifully prepared. We had spareribs and saltimbocca - both tasted excellent. The service was also super friendly - all in all - a pleasure 😊

04/03/2025: A single dream. We were greeted and treated extremely friendly by all the staff throughout our stay! The location of the property is extraordinary. Everything is remarkably well maintained. Some things are getting old and yet everything Picobello is clean and well maintained and that is crucial!@! A lot of work and energy goes into keeping such an object in such an inviting condition. Respect!@! The entire team seems to work extremely well and the cleaning staff do an excellent job. Bed linen, mattresses, towels...everything is in an invitingly hygienic condition. The same applies to the breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired for our taste. The restaurant is very busy, which explains everything else. Professionals work here and have fun. We could think of many other positive aspects, but enough with the adulation... 24/02/2025: In una splendida passeggiata alla fine della valle Aurina dove superando la montagna che chiude la valle si raggiunge l'Austria, in questa baita si trova una accoglienza cordiale e buon cibo. Ottimi piatti del giorno ravioli e gulagh con polenta e poi la kaisermart (frittata dolce con marmellata). Prezzi onesti tempi giusti e grappa offerta.

08/04/2025: Very nice hotel in Merano. The rooms are comfortable and some are still somewhat old-fashioned. I had a newly furnished single room on the 4th floor and was very satisfied. The city center can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.

15/03/2025: The hotel is located about 30 meters from the ski slope, its location makes it very good. If you expect 3 stars, the hotel will pleasantly surprise you, if there were 4 stars, it would be standard. The services were at a high level, breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs and omelette at breakfast for an additional charge of €3), but the choice was varied, but it did not change at all during our week's stay. Dinners were served, always several courses, always very tasty food. The rooms are clean and quite spacious, the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor (we were on the third), but that was not a problem for us. Wifi worked very well, but it did not reach the room further away from the room. The hotel has a gym, saunas and a relaxation area as well as two swimming pools (the larger one is colder, the smaller one with a whirlpool) and a paddling pool.

21/02/2025: The hotel is very nicely located. Right on the ski slopes. Rooms very good, food fantastic and the staff just great. I have a food allergy to protein from 🐟 fish. No problems at all. I was immediately given something else for dinner. Dinner always consists of 5 courses, where you can choose the starter and the main course. Conclusion, a really great hotel with really great staff. Thank you!!!

24/01/2025: We stayed 5 nights in this splendid farmhouse in the middle of the Dolomites. Everything was perfect from the very welcoming and clean rooms, to the friendly and always helpful staff, to the tasty breakfast with local products and the always excellent dinner! you can taste the typical dishes prepared to perfection. Thanks, we'll be back!

28/03/2025: ein Vogel hat auf meine Pizza gekackt. Ich habe keine Rückerstattung erhalten und werde nicht zurückkehren. Pizzaria Sparber ist besser

07/10/2024: Die letzte Wanderung in diesem Teil des Gadertals hat uns wieder mal zur Welschellen Alm/Munt da Rina geführt. Diesesmal sind wir die steilere Variante auf den Waldwegen gelaufen und somit schon recht früh auf der Hütte gewesen. Hier wurden schon reichlich die Tirteln (Krapfen mit verschiedenen Füllungen) für später vorbestellt. Dann ging es aber erstmal weiter zu den Glittnerseen und dem Gipfelkreuz. Von hier konnten wir einen herrlichen Rundumblick genießen. Der Abstieg ging dann deutlich schneller als der Aufstieg - das Essen ruft. Wir haben uns nochmals für Kaiserschmarrn und Schlutzkrapfen entschieden. Getränke dazu - perfekt. Die vorbestellten Tirteln fanden insgesamt ein positives Echo. Dies war unsere letzte Wanderung mit Hüttenaufenthalt in diesem Bereich der Dolomiten während dieses Urlaubtrips.

24/10/2024: Great view. Delicious Kaiserschmarrn. Super nice hosts. There is no card payment on site, but a solution was found for this via PayPal. The homemade syrups are delicious! We'd love to come back.

13/10/2024: The food was very good, especially the barley soup was great, the dumpling soup was also good. Then we ate the pasta, everything was good, the staff was very nice, at the end we got sage schnapps and the panorama was breathtaking.

27/02/2025: Authentic South Tyrolean inn cuisine The family-run restaurant has been serving traditional South Tyrolean inn cuisine for over 100 years and in the fourth generation. Florian Patauner is chairman of the Association of South Tyrolean Inns and a guarantor of traditional regional cuisine made from the best ingredients. The dishes are freshly prepared from seasonal local products. On our last visit during Törggelen time, we chose a traditional homemade bacon dumpling soup and a wonderfully prepared veal tongue from starters. The main courses, homemade buttery gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and a juicy onion roast were also first-class classics. The stylish, cozy restaurant with the shady summer garden has been a byword for the best South Tyrolean cuisine and friendly, family service for many years. A top recommendation for Terlan.

25/02/2025: Der Hammer! Schon 2x im Urlaub dort gegessen. Preise sind der Menge und Qualität angemessen. Ambiente und Bedienung total klasse. Haben nochmals reserviert 🤩 Steak war komplett perfekt, Wartezeit angemessen. Wer in der Gegend ist und Fleisch mag, Hin!!!

22/03/2025: Very charming restaurant in the historic town of Brixen. We enjoyed our night, especially thanks to the personnel who were very kind and helpful with advice on what’s best to get if you want to taste the regional specialties. The atmosphere was very nice. Definitely recommended!

19/03/2025: For many years now, we've been starting our South Tyrol vacations in Brixen, at the Traubenwirt. It's become a tradition. The quality of the food has been consistently good over the years. Whether it's traditional dishes, pizza, or pasta, it's always perfect. The service is super friendly, and the value for money is excellent. Particularly noteworthy is the option of sitting outside when the weather is nice. It's right in the center of Brixen. We love it and will definitely be back again.
