If you're not looking for culinary revelations but simply want to fill your stomach, you can't go wrong here—but don't expect any surprises either.

19/05/2026: We ate at Pizzeria Sparber in Dorf Tirol several times and were delighted. The pizza was outstanding – crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor. The pasta was also delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. For us, it's the best pizza in Dorf Tirol! We'll definitely be back.

01/06/2026: Simply wonderful; we were there with two children. The homemade food was fantastic (pasta and quark dumplings), you could taste the difference. A truly lovely hostess!

28/05/2026: It was rather a disappointment for us. Beef goulash with bacon dumplings. The meat was tough and the bacon dumplings tasteless. The outdoor furniture was quite old. The view is very nice. The service was so-so... although we were very thirsty and would have gladly spent money there. The prices were simply touristy and too expensive for what we were served.

02/06/2026: We had a fantastic stay. The service was absolutely superb and the entire staff extremely attentive. A huge thank you goes to the wonderful waiters who made our stay so enjoyable! The food was consistently excellent – ​​the bacon platter was especially delicious. And to top it all off, there was a stunning view. We will definitely be back!

16/05/2026: We ate here two evenings in a row and weren't disappointed! The pinsa was absolutely delicious, including the vegetarian option! Both the ribs and the smoked salmon, served with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables, were top-notch. The wine selection was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. To top it all off, we were given a complimentary shot of schnapps. We'll be back!

02/05/2026: A lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive service. The very large mixed side salad was excellent and reasonably priced. The pork tenderloin with grilled vegetables and the spaghetti with burrata were both delicious. The dessert (semifreddo with pistachios) was divine. We will gladly return.

09/05/2026: Badl im Mitterhofer – the "Schlechte Sepp" – is a true hidden gem in Merano and definitely worth a visit. It's a beautiful beer garden with a truly cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying yourself. The food was outstanding – delicious home-style cooking, as well as fantastic seasonal dishes featuring fish, asparagus, and other fresh specialties. Everything was incredibly flavorful and prepared with great care. It's exactly the kind of cuisine where you can tell that quality and enjoyment are paramount. Add to that the very pleasant service and an ambiance that makes you want to linger. Anyone visiting Merano should absolutely make it here!

16/12/2025: Excellent experience at this hotel with spa in Tirolo... just a few kilometers from Merano, it is the ideal place to reach it in a few minutes or as a starting point for walks along the nearby trails. During the period in which we stayed (November 13-15), the kitchen service was unfortunately not available, but I think it would have been excellent given the quality of the breakfast. The spa area is the jewel in the crown 😍... which has various saunas, a jacuzzi and 2 pools. We will be back.

Our wishes are often fulfilled before we even realize what they are – and that's precisely what makes this place so special. Here, you don't feel like a guest, but like part of a large family. The cuisine is always a highlight – varied, sophisticated, and prepared with such attention to detail that every dish becomes a moment of pure enjoyment. After all these years, this hotel has become so much more than just a vacation spot for us – it's a second home, a place of friendship and arrival.
