26/06/2026: We stopped here after visiting Tyrol Castle. The seating is fantastic with a view of the castle. A small but excellent menu – delicious food 😋 and everyone is incredibly friendly. A perfect place to stop for a break – top-notch!

15/07/2026: Highly recommended. Great service, friendly staff, excellent pizzas, and a fantastic view. My absolute favorite is the Pizza Haway. Not just the classic ham and pineapple, but also the banana and curry version. Incredibly delicious, and so far, this is the only place I've ever eaten it on vacation. You can sit comfortably on the lovely outdoor terrace and enjoy the great view.

05/07/2026: Delicious! 🤩 The potato dumplings with spinach and ricotta filling, brown butter, and Parmesan were a true culinary delight. Crisp salads and service that was just as fantastic as the food – friendly, warm, and lightning fast. You come in hungry and leave happy. We'll definitely be back!

16/05/2026: We ate here two evenings in a row and weren't disappointed! The pinsa was absolutely delicious, including the vegetarian option! Both the ribs and the smoked salmon, served with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables, were top-notch. The wine selection was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. To top it all off, we were given a complimentary shot of schnapps. We'll be back!

02/05/2026: A lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive service. The very large mixed side salad was excellent and reasonably priced. The pork tenderloin with grilled vegetables and the spaghetti with burrata were both delicious. The dessert (semifreddo with pistachios) was divine. We will gladly return.

06/07/2026: We managed to snag a room at Hotel Unterschattmair at short notice while passing through, and what can I say? We felt comfortable and welcome from the very first moment. The hosts are incredibly warm and run their hotel with great attention to detail. The rooms and pool area are newly and beautifully renovated. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious, so we felt right at home as a family. The food was delicious, especially the many homemade products. The multi-course dinner, which we enjoyed with a fantastic view of Merano from the terrace, was truly wonderful. The fact that our children were treated so warmly and not just accepted, as we've experienced in other hotels, is something we'll remember most fondly. Thank you for the wonderful stay; we'd love to come back!

24/06/2026: Simply a wonderfully beautiful restaurant with top service and top cuisine.

15/06/2026: We were a large family (7 people) at Felsenkeller and enjoyed a thoroughly enjoyable evening, even though we weren't the easiest group of customers. The large table on the terrace offered a fantastic view over Merano, and we received friendly service. The children's requests were also accommodated. I have a histamine intolerance, which is a real nightmare for any chef. I had to ask numerous questions about the ingredients and the aging process of the beef, and the chef personally came to our table to answer them and adapted a dish to suit my needs. This is not something to be taken for granted and was very thoughtful. All the dishes were delicious and sophisticated, and the portions were very generous. Thanks to the kitchen's flexibility, I was able to have just as wonderful a culinary experience as everyone else, and everyone was very satisfied. We would gladly return the next time we are in Merano and would wholeheartedly recommend Felsenkeller.

01/08/2026: We went there for dinner and coffee 😊 The food was very good; the spaghetti with chanterelles and the schnitzel with fries were delicious. The staff is also very friendly. They forgot our drinks once, but since the restaurant was so busy, that can happen 😊 For coffee, we had the apricot strudel and the iced coffee, both of which were made with love, you could tell. It's definitely worth a visit, whether for dinner or coffee. The restaurant is also very cozy; you immediately feel at home.

16/12/2025: Excellent experience at this hotel with spa in Tirolo... just a few kilometers from Merano, it is the ideal place to reach it in a few minutes or as a starting point for walks along the nearby trails. During the period in which we stayed (November 13-15), the kitchen service was unfortunately not available, but I think it would have been excellent given the quality of the breakfast. The spa area is the jewel in the crown 😍... which has various saunas, a jacuzzi and 2 pools. We will be back.

You can tell that they don't just work here, but live and breathe with passion, joy, and true hospitality. Our wishes are often fulfilled before we even realize what they are – and that's precisely what makes this place so special. Here, you don't feel like a guest, but like part of a large family. The cuisine is always a highlight – varied, sophisticated, and prepared with such attention to detail that every dish becomes a moment of pure enjoyment. After all these years, this hotel has become so much more than just a vacation spot for us – it's a second home, a place of friendship and arrival. 08/06/2026: The view from the sun terrace is indescribable. You have a fantastic panoramic view over Merano, Dorf Tirol, and the Adige Valley. The homemade smoked sausages and the Kaiserschmarrn were delicious.
