Restaurant Hotel Goldene Rose

12/05/2026: Schlanders is a picturesque village in the Val Venosta; we started with a walk and then, on the recommendation of our landlady, went to the Goldene Rose restaurant for lunch. Even as hikers with dogs (in our case, two dogs), we received a very warm welcome and were shown to a quiet table in one of the large dining rooms. For simplicity's sake, we opted for the daily special, and we didn't regret our choice: we've never eaten such good spare ribs. Although already quite full from the generous main course, I couldn't resist the panna cotta for dessert. We will definitely go there again!

10/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The food was excellent and varied. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and attentive.
We especially enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, both of which were impeccably maintained and perfect for relaxation. The room was spotless, and the large balcony was a real highlight.
The hotel bar also impressed us with its good selection of drinks and pleasant atmosphere.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.
06/06/2026: A perfect hotel, superbly equipped rooms, exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, outstanding cuisine from breakfast to the afternoon cake and fruit buffet, to the six-course dinner – it was always excellent. The spa area is beautiful and very spacious, and the fitness room boasts an unusually comprehensive range of equipment. Furthermore, the hotel's elaborate decor throughout all floors and in the grand lobby is truly remarkable – one can only marvel at the meticulous attention to detail and the fact that no expense has been spared. Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten comes highly recommended.

03/05/2026: We stayed here during a cycling trip; the staff were super friendly, the rooms were good, the food was delicious, and there was a garage for the bikes including power outlets. A real recommendation! The owner's weather forecasts should be taken with a grain of salt 😉, but all in all, a great hotel with a family atmosphere!

19/09/2025: We spent a wonderful, relaxing week visiting castles, churches, Marienberg Abbey, and discovering the Venosta Valley, rich in apple orchards. We enjoyed every moment spent with Melania (the owner), savored the food, and, despite being the only Italians in the hotel on some days, we managed to communicate with the table next to us, learning a few German phrases. We'll take home a wonderful memory. Thank you 😘 to the staff!

25/09/2025: Good food with a wide variety of burgers, including vegan! Friendly staff and fast service. The interior isn't very large, but there's plenty of seating. Outdoor seating is protected from the sun or rain. There's also convenient parking in front.

29/01/2026: I went to Silandro in Val Venosta to visit the Christmas markets and the tallest church tower in Tyrol (about 100 meters).
I visited this historic bakery where I savored the authentic aromas of Alto Adige.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
31/12/2025: Excellent breakfast
Very good cappuccino, made with fresh milk, and good-quality croissants. I recommend the whole-wheat one with red berries. The bread is also very good.

24/04/2025: In diesem Restaurant haben wir zu Abend gegessen. Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl an Speisen. Wir haben zwar keine Pizza gegessen, aber die Speisen, die uns gebracht wurden, Leber auf venezianische Art, Carbonara und ein 4-Gänge-Menü, waren sehr gut zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. Der Preis für Qualität und Quantität hätte etwas höher sein können, ich persönlich hätte nichts dagegen gehabt.
Werden wieder vorbei.... essen!

23/01/2025: Forse é una questione di carattere, forse non hanno bisogno di altri clienti oppure semplicemente non ci sanno fare. Siamo stati 20 min nel locale senza che nessuno ci degnasse di uno sguardo, la cameriera dopo aver fatto pagare una decina di persone ci è passata da parte senza lo sforzo di un sorriso o semplicemente dire … scusate arriveremo anche da voi.

31/08/2024: Lange nicht mehr so schön dekoriertes und geschmacklich einwandfreies Essen gehabt, das in so schönem Porzellan serviert wurde. Darüber hinaus war die Bedienung so freundlich. Ich würde allein wegen dieses Restaurants, dass sich in der Fußgängerzone befindet, nach Schlanders anreisen.
