Superlative. Today I was thinking about having a pizza. I've known this place for years and know it's a guarantee. I was tempted by the dish of the day, and it was a true taste sensation. Then I asked for the dessert of the day as well. It was innovative in its combinations but equally superb. It's been a long time since I've experienced such joy in food while eating out. So many people these days improvise gourmet dishes that don't provide the slightest satisfaction.... Here there's wisdom, research into (local) products, and a love for their work. This chef is an artist. I'd also like to add that the place is beautiful, with everything tasteful. The cleanliness is impeccable. The staff is exquisite. Thank you so much.

The restaurant is magnificent under the vaults of an old cellar, fast service and very welcoming waitresses, the food is really delicious with good portions, we had carpaccio and pizzas, incredible.

The food was amazing! We arrived late, 20 minutes before closing time, yet the welcome was warm and the dishes were extremely delicious! Thank you!

Beautifully bright and comfortably furnished dining rooms, whose layout makes the entire restaurant feel smaller than it actually is. The service is very attentive, friendly, and quick. The selection of dishes is more than ample, and the food is absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable for what you get. We'll definitely be back!

We ate here for the first time and it was truly authentic – highly recommended! I had the dish of the day, a braised beef with onions and rice, plus an extra side salad. I haven't had such high-quality meat in a long time; the beef came directly from a local farmer – everything was regional. It was still beautifully pink, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. Despite the delicious sauce, you could still clearly taste the beef itself. The rice was a perfect complement, and the sauce was also wonderfully flavorful. The only point of contention was the consistency of the sauce, which was more liquid than thick. I can imagine some people might have preferred something thicker, but it didn't bother me at all; it was still incredibly delicious. The salad and dressing were equally fresh and tasty. From other plates at the table, I also tried the venison liver, which was incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection, as well as a piece of calzone from my friend, whose dough and tomato sauce I really enjoyed. The only thing one could possibly argue about was the consistency of the sauce – more liquid than thick. I couldn't remember the exact names of the desserts, but there was a kind of quark cream with raspberry sorbet, which was absolutely delicious and the highlight for me, as well as a kind of cream ice cream with a coffee center, which I also enjoyed, although not quite as exciting as the quark cream. A restaurant I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Very friendly service, excellent pizza. Excellent advice on daily specials and wine... all around excellent. Definitely coming back on my next visit to Mals!

Centrally located. Friendly welcome. Interestingly renovated historic building. Good menu with some innovative creations. Quick service even at peak times. Clean restrooms. Good value for money.
