Since 2020, we've dined at Lampl at least once or twice during our holidays. We also get pizzas there at least once per trip. There must be a reason for that. The food is excellent, as is the service, and the ambiance also plays a part. One of the best restaurants in the upper Vinschgau Valley. See you next time, in the last week of August 2026.

The restaurant prioritizes regional products, thus supporting local farmers and producers, as well as reducing environmental impact through shorter transport routes. The price-performance ratio is excellent, especially considering the generally high prices in South Tyrol. We will definitely return. The dishes are deliciously prepared, and the quality is truly impressive.

We're a group of 10, and when we asked if we could have lunch there, we were greeted and served quickly. The food was delicious; we'd definitely return, but it's a shame we're so far away. I highly recommend the place, especially for its beautifully appointed interior! Parking is available.

04/06/2026: We ate here several times last year, and again this year for a snack and dinner. The terrace has a lovely view. The service was incredibly friendly, thank you so much! The dumplings in the soup and as a trio were amazing! And we had a fantastic breaded turkey schnitzel. There was a great selection of delicious desserts. To finish, we had a liqueur and a schnapps – simply a wonderful evening :-) Thank you to the whole team! We'll definitely be back next year (or maybe even this summer) 🌞
31/05/2026: We stayed at the Gasthaus Falkenstein for one night while passing through and were completely satisfied. The food, rooms, and staff were all incredibly welcoming – highly recommended. We had everything we needed.

Rifugio Fondovalle

14/01/2026: I've been a guest at this refuge for over 25 years. It's spectacular! Both the location and the food. One of the most beautiful places in the world at the foot of my favorite mountain in the Dolomites... Ciao Tre Scarperi! Come visit Maria, she's very kind! But be patient, because it's not always easy to find a table!
10/01/2026: This quaint refuge nestled in the beautiful Fiscalina Valley can be reached after an hour's mostly flat hike from Bad Moos. The food was DELICIOUS, and I can't wait to return! We had the salsify soup and dumplings, truly unforgettable! The service was also fast and friendly. It's worth considering that this is a fairly popular refuge, and since they don't take reservations, you might end up on a waiting list, but fortunately, it fills up fairly quickly. Highly recommended!
