18/07/2025: Our absolute favorite hotel! Everything is perfect here from start to finish. Great food, an incredibly warm atmosphere, and a fantastic wellness area. We recommend this hotel 100%!

18/07/2025: Fantastic food, from breakfast to dinner, plus daily snacks and Friday aperitifs. The sauna and pool facilities are beautiful and very comfortable, with separate areas for adults and families. The gym is fantastic, fully equipped, and has a beautiful view. The hotel is spotless, quiet, and truly equipped with every comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly.

07/08/2025: A very pleasant stay. The food was delicious, and Alexander was very friendly and accommodating!

27/07/2025: We stayed one night at Alexander's, taking advantage of the opportunity to park our camper on the farm. After the special drive, which takes about 20 minutes uphill from Merano via winding roads, we were greeted at the top by Alexander in a sincere and warm manner. He explained everything to us and accompanied us for the rest of the evening through his incredibly delicious and authentic three-course meal. The hut is lovingly furnished and lacks nothing. Dear Alexander, you are a very special person who gives guests memories that last a lifetime. Thank you so much!

03/08/2025: After the climb, the Bärenbadalm was just the thing – a wonderful rest stop with a magnificent view! We received a very friendly welcome, and the portions were generous and delicious. The Kaiserschmarrn and fried potatoes were a real highlight – fresh, homemade, and simply delicious! A wonderful place to enjoy, recharge, and let your gaze wander. Highly recommended!

08/08/2025: We arrived from Milan and immediately felt welcomed by the smiling, attentive staff. The wood-filled atmosphere is elegant but not pretentious. Very good, traditional, and carefully prepared food. Good value for money. An excellent experience.

26/08/2025: We chose this place by chance and were definitely rewarded. The welcome and service are excellent, the staff is always friendly. The food is equally good, and the menu is varied with a wide selection. We had the pizza, and I must say it was very good. The draft beer was excellent. A welcoming place with tables under the pergola, and a small garden with some games at the back. Highly recommended because they serve good food, drink well, and are reasonably priced.

31/08/2025: Totally crowded, we stood in front of the restaurant for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the two of us didn't have a reservation. A server regularly picked up only those with reservations... Frustrated, we then went to another restaurant. It would have been nice if someone had simply told us there was no room or something... very disappointing.

06/07/2025: We went there because we have a kid and he always have fun there. The walk is easy from the car park. Food always on point service is fast depends how busy but its relaxing atmosphere. A must go

06/07/2025: Cozy cabin, good food, very friendly staff! Very nice outdoor area with a great view. There were baby goats in the enclosure, which was a wonderful pastime to watch.

16/08/2025: We gladly return every year to this refuge, which maintains its authenticity, perhaps due to the fact that the climb is challenging and therefore not as popular as other refuges in the area. The food is good, authentic, and reasonably priced, and the beautiful walk on the glaciological trail rounds off the day perfectly.

28/06/2025: Il menu offre poca scelta, le pietanze alla ricerca di particolarità e singolarità, troppo, difficilmente apprezzabili dai diversi palati nella varietá degli ospiti. Così ad esempio i tagliolini con champignon e coda di rospo vengono immersi in un brodo di abete, tartine minuscole farcite con cuore e fegato servite sopra una pietra... ecc. In breve, tanta scena con un risultato poco aprezzato e con prezzi sproporzionatamente e ingiustificatamente alle stelle. Ambiente poco ospitale. Mai più!

28/06/2025: Prezzi alti , non all’altezza , servizio pessimo , il cameriere nel servire gocciolava , più volte sia il vino nel servirlo , sia le salse , cibo purtroppo non all’altezza , Sella di agnello non tenera , con piccole tartine di cuore e fegato per niente apprezzabili , tutto troppo ricercato esagerato , ma con poco gusto , prezzi esagerati per la qualità ,non torneremo mai più sconsigliato

06/06/2025: We're frequent guests and have NEVER been disappointed. Whether it's lunch or a great pizza in the evening, everything is always delicious. When you walk over the bridge, it's as if you're leaving everyday life behind and you can really relax. Keep up the good work and see you soon 🙋‍♂️

01/08/2025: Arriving slightly early (12:15) after the opening time (12:30), I was turned away and invited to get a coffee at a nearby café! I returned "punctually" and was assigned a table. The lunch consisted of slapdash and uninteresting dishes. High price, disappointing service, and food from the worst tavern. Perhaps the Michelin inspector who reported it got the name of the place wrong. Highly not recommended.
