06/10/2025: Beautiful poolside restaurant and pizzeria. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pools. Direct access to the pool. Wood-fired pizza and freshly prepared food. Children's menu available. Very good prices. Ample parking. Children's play area. Unique, youthful, and very pleasant decor.

04/10/2025: Beautiful hiking trail, just right, and the nearby waterfall is the best dessert, a great way to end the day with a bit of visual cooling.

26/09/2025: Truly the best Kaiserschmarrn I've ever eaten! And I've tried it at a few restaurants in Austria and South Tyrol. It was slightly crispy on the outside, fluffy and soft on the inside, with raisins and cranberries. It wasn't overly sweetened or dripping with fat, as you unfortunately often get elsewhere. The taste was absolutely fantastic! The service was also very friendly, and there were seating options with a beautiful view.

18/10/2025: A rather overpriced garden restaurant. Nicely located. Service was initially a bit snippy and not very friendly. The bacon platter wasn't very varied, and beer ham doesn't belong there. The same goes for the cheese platter – there were two pieces that were completely dried out. After a complaint, they exchanged them, but only with different varieties. You get the feeling that whatever needs to be used up is put on the plate... Wine by the glass is okay, but for 0.2 liters at over €9, it's not exactly cheap...

19/09/2025: A great place to stop for a bite to eat in Schlinig! (Not only the alpine pasture is recommended...) Must-try: farmer's toast (Vinschgerl panini topped with bacon, onions, tomatoes, and cheese) as well as the lovely selection of homemade cakes, tarts, and South Tyrolean apple strudel. Cozy terrace and lovely dining room.

10/09/2025: Simply a wonderful hut after a beautiful hike, with excellent food and friendly staff. Even off-season, it's a popular destination and not as crowded, and 10 stars 🌟 for the staff.

08/09/2025: We stopped for a coffee and a dessert, a wonderful place but I don't need to say it, the whole landscape around speaks for itself, both the coffee and the desserts were excellent, in fact I think I ate the best strudel ever 😋

26/09/2025: Fantastic restaurant! We were able to get in without a reservation, but would highly recommend booking ahead. Food was delicious, service was outstanding and they have a very nice wine list. We were hoping to get back in the following day, but they were already fully booked.

04/09/2025: The penne was a real highlight! Perfectly cooked al dente and served in an incredibly creamy, aromatic sauce. The sauce was delicately seasoned, wonderfully tomatoey with a subtle hint of herbs and vegetables – just the right balance without being too heavy. The fresh mushrooms gave the dish a pleasant texture and additional flavor. What was particularly nice was that the whole thing was served stylishly in a copper pan, which gave the meal a sophisticated touch. A dish that impresses both visually and tastefully – pure Italian culinary culture!

21/09/2025: We reserved a table for four people. The ambiance itself looks modern and new. The service was friendly, but extremely inattentive. Our order arrived after a long wait, and the dishes lacked flavor. I opted for the dumplings, which were cooked far too long and thus had an unpleasant texture. The portion sizes were also rather meager for the price paid. The impression that the focus here is on quantity over quality was reinforced by the overall mediocre quality of the food. Unfortunately, I can't recommend "Alpenrose" – there are better alternatives nearby.
