13/07/2025: Beautifully situated farm with a farm shop. The apple balsamic vinegar is a must! We go there just for that. The beer garden is fantastic, and the snacks are delicious! They have their own vegetable garden (exemplarily planted) and a great place to stroll around. We visit twice a year! And we've already reordered the vinegar online!

14/08/2025: Salad with a really large larva... I pointed it out to the waiter and he took it away immediately. I expected them to ask if we wanted another one, even though at this point I wouldn't have taken it, but instead, nothing, they simply took it off the bill... but is it really that difficult to wash salad? Stay away from this place.

12/08/2025: Of the various refuges I've visited in the area, this is the only one that's worthy of a review so far. Besides the delicious food (but that's pretty easy to find), the service, the view, and the value for money (strictly in that order) make the difference here. Really well done! 👏

05/08/2025: Simply an extraordinary experience!! The location, even from the outside, takes you back in time. Inside, the beautiful, all-wood rooms make everything very warm and welcoming! The very kind and attentive staff will pamper you throughout your stay. Currently, the menu is only à la carte, featuring traditional South Tyrolean ingredients and recipes. Everything is excellent, especially the tartare, risotto, and schnitzel (the best I've ever eaten)... you can taste the work of chef Norbert Niederkofler!! It's worth a visit, especially now that it's not yet well-known and has received numerous awards.

The atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends or family. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone seeking authenticity and flavor.

06/07/2025: A place that has a nice menu, from pizza (good) to well-prepared typical dishes, placed on the terrace and inside. Average prices, closed on Sundays, a shame because tourism on the weekends needs open places.

23/08/2025: Great people, great food, great experience. Just could be a bit better at managing the waiting line. (Nothing to complain about friendliness of staff) Gnocchi was wonderful.

21/08/2025: We had a fantastic meal here: great food, generous portions, unfussy service, great value! Everything we tasted was delicious: appetizer, seasonal specials of truffle pasta and fungi risotto, and a seasonal deserts of Macedonian melon with lemon gelato. Highly recommended.

11/08/2025: Nice place, you can reserve but only inside and until 12:30. The 4-star ambiance is clearly for the interior, because the outside is 5-star, but inside is nothing special. Classic mountain-style service and very good food: excellent eggs, speck, and potatoes, as are the dumplings. Lunch with two courses and water costs €32.

21/06/2025: I chose a pizza from the extensive menu. It was very tasty and the prices were very reasonable (Margherita under €8, Calzone under €12). A bit of an unusual spot, but worth a visit.

30/07/2025: The view is great, the ambiance is very nice. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the portion was extremely small. I had spare ribs, and they were really small, too. It came with a small bowl of coleslaw...that's not OK...if I come back from eating hungry, it just doesn't work, especially considering the price-performance ratio, as it wasn't cheap.

13/08/2025: I have been recommending the Winkelkeller for a long time. I saw the wild and romantic garden as I was driving past. I'm told the food is excellent. It looks the same in these great photos, too, the ladder cart with the flowers on the other side as an advertising service... the natural vegetable garden, I assume, not far from the kitchen. See you soon, I'm coming for dinner. Today I took guests who asked me in the town centre where there was something to eat to your place. The garden was very full, but they went in. I also stopped by briefly to see if it's really that nice at your place. Yes, Holladero, it's a lovely place, including you, you're really a lovely bunch. Now I know that it was worth advertising for you for so many years. I'm really looking forward to eating at your place myself; I was in a bit of a hurry today. Bye, in the meantime.

26/07/2025: The three of us visited again after years, and it was once again well worth it. The service and food are simply outstanding, and the atmosphere in the cellar vault also contributes to a comfortable atmosphere. And if you want to watch the chefs at work, it's no problem since the kitchen was moved to the other side and thanks to the window facing the street. However, reservations are recommended in advance. Conclusion: Highly recommended.
