15/07/2026: Highly recommended. Great service, friendly staff, excellent pizzas, and a fantastic view. My absolute favorite is the Pizza Haway. Not just the classic ham and pineapple, but also the banana and curry version. Incredibly delicious, and so far, this is the only place I've ever eaten it on vacation. You can sit comfortably on the lovely outdoor terrace and enjoy the great view.

08/08/2026: We (two friends) stayed here for the first night before our hike on the Merano High Trail. Lovely double room. Excellent location for many hikes. Highly recommended, we slept wonderfully... The view over Merano and the valley while having breakfast is amazing.

06/08/2026: A truly heartfelt recommendation! The Gasthaus Hochmuth above Dorf Tirol completely won us over. Even the hike there along the Merano High Trail is an experience, but stopping at the inn is the perfect way to end the day. The service was simply outstanding: incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive; we immediately felt completely at ease. Even though the restaurant was busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food – and it was an absolute culinary highlight. The Kaiserschmarrn with homemade applesauce was divine (perfect for me, as it was raisin-free), the fries with sausages were just right for the kids, and the South Tyrolean snack with Kaminwurz (smoked sausage) and a glass of Vernatsch wine perfectly complemented the mountain view. On top of all that, the price-performance ratio is truly fair and excellent, which is by no means a given in such a stunning panoramic location. We'll definitely be back!

31/07/2026: Amazing place. We stayed in a hotel nearby and decided to walk to this place at 10 pm based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, fast service and delicious pizza. Most importantly the menu is translated to english and the staff speaks English as well.

I've eaten there for three days in a row!!! The ambiance is great! The service is great! Even the restrooms are large and beautiful! This restaurant is perfect! The best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at!!!

03/06/2026: The Alpl has retained its charm and authenticity, even though everything is very modern. The food is fantastic and offers excellent value for money; the service is very friendly and the advice is helpful. The terrace is stunning with its view of the valley. The deck chairs on the lawn are lovely, and there's plenty for children to see – goats, rabbits, and more. The climb is definitely worth it!

08/08/2026: Returning after a few years since we last ate here, we were pleased to see that the sandwiches had improved, even though they were already very good. The Konig Laurin is out of this world, and the Berta is a bit unusual but still excellent. The option to choose from a variety of sides and sauces, included in the price of the sandwich, is nice. Honorable mention goes to the wide range of sauces to choose from, including varying degrees of spiciness. Welcoming place, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and fair prices.

05/08/2026: The food was truly excellent and we were very impressed. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 45 minutes for it, as our order had apparently been forgotten. In addition, we found the service unpleasant towards the end of the evening. About 20 minutes before closing time, we were repeatedly asked to pay, even though we wanted to enjoy our meal in peace. We were also charged for the tap water we had ordered. Especially since the restaurant had made a mistake with our order, we would have appreciated a bit more consideration or at least a sincere apology from the staff. It's a shame, because this somewhat overshadowed the otherwise good meal.

03/05/2026: The interior is well-maintained. The menu is a bit too touristy and lacks character; I would have preferred more traditional Ladin dishes. The burgers and pork shoulder were average, and the price was fair.

24/06/2026: We had one of the most wonderful holidays at this hotel. My highest praise goes to this amazing team. Everyone helps each other, you can feel the great atmosphere and sense of community. The food was simply divine. A big shout-out to this fantastic, unique, and varied cuisine! The terrace and garden are beautifully designed. The two pools and the spa area are perfect for relaxing in the heat. And the view shows just how beautiful this region is. Buses depart directly from the main square, so you don't really need a car to get to Merano and Bolzano, or to go on various hikes. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

29/05/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay. The hosts were very friendly, the food and staff were excellent, and the view was fantastic. The new terrace with its awning made breakfast and dinner possible. We would gladly come back.

21/07/2026: This restaurant-pizzeria is located a few kilometers from San Candido, near the Austrian border. The place is spacious, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The service is quick and courteous. We tried the pizzas and desserts. The pizzas are thin and very good, and there's a wide selection. The desserts are generous and delicious. We'll definitely be back to try the restaurant's dishes. A must-try if you're in the area.
