04/01/2026: We were there for the 31st December dinner and the food was very very good, the service was attentive and overall it was noce to spend new year’s eve there. The building is amazing and the historical wooden stube is fantastic.

31/12/2025: Great experience! The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The stuffed cabbage, fritters, and pear with zabaglione were divine. Highly recommended!

05/11/2025: A beautifully situated alpine pasture with breathtaking views! We've been coming here regularly for years, combining it with a lovely hike of about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Rosskopf cable car mountain station to the pasture. A fantastic terrace where you can soak up the sun and lose track of time. Delicious South Tyrolean cuisine, especially shepherd's macaroni! The friendly service makes every visit a truly memorable one, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next trip!

19/01/2026: A small bar with a large selection of dishes, many of which are displayed in the bar counter. Inside, there are a few large tables, but some smaller ones can be pushed together. Outside, there are several tables, and the terrace is really lovely. The food was pre-cooked and simply reheated, but very, very tasty. We had the cold octopus salad, the lasagna, the parmigiana, and the stuffed cabbage roll. All the dishes were delicious, but the cabbage roll was particularly good—nice and juicy and full of flavor. Both the classic lasagna and the parmigiana were very creamy and also very good. The portions were generous, and the prices were very fair. The service was attentive and very friendly. We will definitely come back.

05/10/2025: This is our fifth visit to this wonderful restaurant. The food is phenomenal. Great flavor combinations, yet not too complex, allowing you to recognize the ingredients and let each one unfold its full potential. The service is fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and everything runs at a pleasantly relaxed pace. Added to that is the exceptional wine, which is served to match the dishes. With a wealth of in-depth knowledge and great passion for each wine and its history! And to top it all off, the daughter made some addictive chocolates! Thank you Sonja, Jörg, and your children for the wonderful evening! ... and thank you for the shuttle service to the bus! We're already looking forward to our next visit 🤩

06/01/2026: We visited this mountain hut for lunch. The food was delicious and plentiful, with the goulash being especially good. Elena and her husband were very friendly. Easy walks are possible from the parking lot, and the bark water channel along one of the trails is fascinating. Google misdirects the route; you have to go up from the village of Martello.

05/01/2026: An exceptional lunch from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The food was of the highest quality, prepared with natural, genuine, and fresh ingredients, bringing out authentic flavors. The desserts were spectacular, true masterpieces: the chef's touch and passion were clearly evident. A wonderful location in Val Martello. An experience well worth the trip.

30/10/2025: A charming refreshment point inside Salorno Castle, where you can have breakfast or lunch. The owners are kind and helpful, and you can also visit the remains of the castle for free. Recommended (we ate a delicious, generous slice of whole-wheat cake with homemade blueberry jam, and the coffee was just so-so). I forgot to mention that to reach the castle, you have to walk along a wide but steep path for about 20-30 meters, depending on your pace.

26/10/2025: Stunning medieval castle nestled on a rocky outcrop above the village of Salorno. The setting is beautiful, meticulously designed and one-of-a-kind. Excellent service and very friendly, welcoming staff were available to explain the menu in detail. We spent a delightful Sunday in a setting you don't experience every day. We can't wait to return for the Knights' Dinner!

01/01/2026: A nice place, certainly traditional, with a very retro but overall pleasant atmosphere. The food is quite good, without any particular surprises. However, there's a certain difference in treatment towards "foreign" customers, which is a bit puzzling. Prices are decidedly high for what's on offer.

28/12/2025: Great German restaurant in the village of St Paul. The waitstaff spoke English but the menu was only in German. With Google Translate that was no problem and the food was incredible. Try the tagliatelle with venison Rafi and goulash. Incredible. One of our best meals in Italy.

01/01/2026: This was the first restaurant we visited on our trip to the Dolomites. Reservations are the way to go here! This place gets packed fast. The people working here are working their butts off and at the same time are friendly and accommodating. They offer a wide variety of food - with several vegetarian options. They also allow to-go orders, but only for the pizza- which is good because we took their pizza to-go on several occasions. It also made for a nice next day slack while hiking... haha! We especially loved the tono cipolla. This was definitely our favorite restaurant in the town. We came back multiple times and couldn't recommend it enough. Make a reservation!

Hofer Alpl is a wonderfully traditional mountain hut and a true destination for anyone who appreciates nature, tranquility, and authenticity. The path there leads through an impressive mountain landscape, making a stop at the hut a truly memorable experience. Once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with a magnificent view and a very relaxed atmosphere. The hut is simple, cozy, and exactly what you'd expect from a mountain hut. Here, the atmosphere is down-to-earth and welcoming. A visit is especially worthwhile: regional, simple, and very tasty dishes, combined with a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle. A perfect place to breathe deeply, recharge, and enjoy – ideal as a destination or break during a hike. Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: Delicious food and drinks, great service, magnificent views, and plenty of nature and peace. Great!

13/01/2026: The location is beautiful, right in the middle of the slopes and nestled in a valley sheltered from the wind and sun. Plenty of seating inside and out. The food, in my opinion, was good, but no better than other places in the area. A bit pricey compared to others: we paid €30 each for two cordon bleu with fries, a spritz, and two coffees.

03/01/2026: Kudos to the kitchen! The vegan pumpkin cream soup was the best we've ever had. The vegan vegetable curry was also excellent, especially the bottom layer. We're not entirely sure what it is, but it tastes delicious. Since the dishes are primarily vegetable-based, they don't keep you full for very long. Offering vegan dishes is certainly a bit more challenging in South Tyrol, but at this level, there's definitely a way to create a more substantial vegan meal. If you appreciate very good vegan food and have the necessary funds, this is the place for you.

28/12/2025: A fantastic place! The food is excellent, the service very friendly and attentive. The view is truly spectacular! Easily accessible and plenty of parking. We are very impressed. The value for money is also really good. Highly recommended, as evidenced by all the awards. Absolutely fantastic!
