Ochsenhutte In Nova levante

Fantastic place. Carpaccio was the best we have had in years and the pasta of the day - tagliatelle with finferli- was just amazing. I don't know what it was but the combination of good meat, cheese, rucolla with balsamic was just from another world... Tagliatelle with mushroom didn't sound too exciting but after trying to bites, I really struggled to decide what to put in my mouth more - carpaccio or pasta? I also had bistecca di manzo. I usually prefer my meat to have a bit of fat, and I also know that Italians prefer meat without fat usually. My Italian wife said this was a really good steak, so I kind of expecting that I won't like it. I was wrong-! it was also very good. Staff were extremely kind and the venue with the fantastic view and the perfect summer weather just made it perfect lunch. We are definitely coming back in the winter. (one downside: because of this great lunch, we couldn't really enjoy our dinner. but that's the dinner restaurant's fault!)

Food was uberdelicious. Service kind, prompt and friendly. View is nice. We chilled on the terrace overlooking the mountains and enjoying good food. Warmly recommended

For the past six years, we've stayed in our holiday accommodation not far from the Ochsenhütte. We've walked past it every year... this year we finally stopped in for the first time. A huge compliment! A wonderful, rustic hut, friendly service, and a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The food and cocktails are also delicious. We'll be back next year! 😊

Spectacular location with a breathtaking view! Besides the wonderful view, the food is truly delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to recommend the best dishes. Special mention for the dog-friendly service: they welcome dogs and immediately bring a bowl of water for them. A must-see!

I arrived via the beautiful trail 1A from Malga Frommer. The view is stunning, the food excellent, and the staff friendly. There are lounge chairs available and a children's play area. Kaiserschmarren is served after 2:30 PM. I'll have to return. It's also easily reached by bus 186.

Delicious food in a beautiful setting

A wonderful mountain hut on the ski slopes. It deserves its 5-star rating for the environment because it is truly well-kept, although the only downside is that it is very small, so during busy periods there is limited seating inside.
